Please no hate comments, this is the first story I publish. I will truly appreciate constructive criticism. Enjoy : ) 

"Hey, Wait for me!" I yelled from upstairs as I ran to get my jacket. When I came downstairs, Carlie was already down the street, "That little--" I ran out the door to catch up. "What took you so long?" She asked, "Oh, you know I was getting my jacket kinda expecting SOMEONE to wait for me."I replied out of breath "SO what are we doing today, maybe the park, or maybe the mall?" She asked knowing perfectly well what my answer was going to be "TO THE LIBRARY!!" I screamed and took off running. "HEY WAIT!"

"We made it," I said completely winded. I look at Carlie she was winded also, but she was clenching her fists, her face had a big wrinkle on her forehead, though what scared me most is her stare. She was staring at me. If looks could kill, "Y....you...IDIOT! DON'T YOU THINK, THERE WERE CARS AND PEOPLE ALL OVER THE PLACE YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN HIT!" She was yelling at the top of anger tower, the next thing I knew she had hit me on the head twice. "OUCH! Ok, ok I get it I'll be more careful. Also for the record THAT HURT YOU JERK!" I responded, jokingly. We giggled a little bit then walked in and immediately went to our favorite sections.

After a few hours, I finished six different books, they weren't very long but still lengthy. Finally, after stretching a bit I get up and go look for Carlie "hey, Carlie--where are you?" I whispered. I looked through every aisle, but stopped at one because a book caught my eye "No, Alex stay focused you have to find Carlie....in this maze f a place." As I was thinking to myself I come across a door "keep out?....hmmm" I was about to open the door, "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!!?" 

I turn around in surprise only to see the head librarian. "I said what do you think you are doing?" she had an aggravated look "I...I...I um...well you know....um" I couldn't say anything "CARLIE, of course, I'll just say I was looking for her, well it's not an entire lie." "So, you just going to stand there or are you going to tell me?" she asked, for the record, she didn't ask she DEMANDED. "Well I was looking for my sister, you see we came here and got distracted so I'm looking for her now so I'll be going now." with that I left as fast as I could, regardless I still felt her piercing stare.  

After a while of looking for Carlie, I gave up and decided to sit on a bunch of pillows, I let myself fall on them and got comfortable. I was staring at a bookshelf when a book started moving  I stood up to see what was going on, in shock, I stare into the eyes of CARLIE "wha....WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" we both seemed in shock at the sight of each other. Apparently, she was looking for me too, I went around to meet her, "Where have you been? I've been looking for you everywhere." She had a worried expression "I was looking for you too, I looked in all your favorite spots but you weren't there." I replied "Well we found each there that's a good sign,"  She said with relief.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you I found this weird door on the other side of the library, wanna go see with me?" I was still pretty curious about that door "Why did the librarian yell at me for just looking, I mean yes I was going to open the door but I probably would have stopped once I remembered that I had to look for Carlie, but then again could have not....oh well what's done is done." As I was thinking to myself we were at the exit "Wha...I thought we were going to the weird door I told you about?" I whined, "No if the door is as weird as you say then I don't think it's a good idea to go, plus you said it was on the east side of the library." She replied, "So what if it is." "Don't you remember NO ONE is allowed on the east side, last time someone went back there they were banished from the library." With that, she turned to leave, "Fine if you're not coming with me when I'm going by myself." I turned and stormed off.
