It's hard being the middle child.

Andromeda was by far the most rebellious. Whether it was to distinguish herself from her sisters or not, no one knew, but it gave her a bit of a thrill whenever Bellatrix shrieked, "Andromeda! What have you done now?!" From the ground while Andromeda was high up on the roof.

It gave her a such a thrill, that even Bellatrix's most thorough scolding couldn't dampen it. Of course, Andromeda didn't witness what would happen after that, where Druella blamed Bellatrix for Andromeda's recklessness.

It got better as she got older, but she still liked to rebel now and then. Everyone was shocked when she was in Ravenclaw instead of Slytherin, but she was secretly glad she wasn't in Gryffindor. Even she wasn't that rebellious, though she secretly applauded Sirius when he got in.

When Bellatrix became one of the leaders of the Young Death Eaters, Andromeda felt betrayed.

"How could you do this, Trixie? To Narcissa? To me?" She yelled in the otherwise empty library one day.

"Because I have responsibilities, Andie. And what business is it of yours?" This was the sign to go away, but Andromeda didn't take it.

"Bellatrix, how could you? Answer me! They're evil! Why are you there, with them?!" Tears were starting to form in her eyes.

"They're... they're not. Not evil. They just... just want order." Andromeda could see her sister was trying to convince herself as well.

"Trixie, you don't want to be there either! Why are you doing it?!"

"Three reasons. 1, Rodolphus. He doesn't want to either, but he's expected to. And as his best friend, we can't be friends anymore unless I join him in this. 2, Mother is finally happy with me. Do you know how long it's been, Andie?! 3, it's not just Astronomy Club, You can't just join or quit when you please. There... there will be repercussions."

Even while she was mad at her sister, Andromeda noticed a soft light go through her eyes as she mentioned Rodolphus. She ignored it- it was nnot the issue at hand.

"Bellatrix, don't lie to me! I'm not a child!" Andromeda snarled.

"You brat! I'm doing this to protect you! Don't you know what will happen if I quit?! You and Cissy will be Crucio'd!" Bellatrix growled.

"Until you decide to tell me the truth about why you're in this horrible group, let alone a leader of them, you're not my sister." Andromeda said, refusing to believe it and shutting it out.

"Until you accept that I am telling the truth, you're  not my sister!" Bellatrix shouted, before gathering up her books and leaving before Andromeda could respond.

That was the last time Andromeda saw Bellatrix as her sister, and not a Death Eater. She refused to believe it for the rest of Bellatrix's life, especially at Battle of Hogwarts.
