Authors POV
" All right" Toby said as he and his friends killed the rest of the goblins. " Ya but we need to stop Gunmar before he attacks with his army" Claire said. All of a sudden they heard a scrapping sound. " Who's there come out" Jim shouted. " Hey that's no way to thank your protecter" a female voice said. " Protecter... What protecter" Jim said. Then a girl walked out of the shadows in Jim amour but purple and a helmet. " When you we're in the darklands I made sure those monsters didn't eat you when trying to steal their eggs" she said. Then a phone struck midnight. " My phone sorry, oh hey its midnight happy birthday Jim" Toby said. " Wait it's midnight" The girl said . Toby nodded " It's my birthday but also the day Kangigar took me in" she said. " Wait Kangigar" Jim said. " I must leave give this to Argghh and Blinky please Trollhunters and meet me here tomorrow night at 10" she said giving Claire a book She said something to Claire in Troll and Claire nodded. She vanished into the night. "What did she say" Jim asked. " She said good luck" Claire lied not wanting her friends to find out about her troubles. " Let's get back to Blinky.

At the Base
" Blinky do you know what this is" Claire said giving him the book. " Well of course the book I gave my god daughter he she turned 6 who did you get it" Ha answered. " A girl gave it to us in the woods and wants you and Argghh to meet her there tomorrow at 10" Toby explained. " Well, to make sure that's it's really my god daughter then we need to sing" Blinky said. All that night they were working on a plan and the kids were lucky that it was summer vacation and Jim's mom was on weekend shift. Soon it was time for the the kids to go home. " Bye Blinky see you tomorrow night" Jim said as he and Claire took off on his Vespa.

" Thanks for the ride Jim I'll see you tomorrow "she said as they stopped by her house. She gave hm a quick peck on the cheek. " See you tomorrow Claire and call me if you wake up cause of those nightmares ok" she nodded as he left. When she got into her house it was empty. Her father was on a Business trip and her mom was visiting  her sick grandfather with her little brother Enrique so she was alone in the house.

Claire Pov
As I went up stairs I started to wish I asked Jim to stay the night. I thought about calling him when I decided I was better off leaving him sleep. I got on my pj's and I was so sleepy when my head hit the pillow I was in a deep sleep.

Claire's Dream
It was the same as every night me giving the pale lady the skull of Angor Rot but this time was different as I gave her the skull she came up to meet me and a girl stepped in front of me and blasted her off " You stay away from her!  she shouted. "Free the stone of light Claire and help my brother" she said.

End off dream

My first action was to call the first person that came to my mind.

Jim

I got my phone from the nightstand and there was a message from my mom I read it and I just started to cry
The call
Claire- Jim please come over

Jim- Claire are you ok your crying I'll be there in a few minutes I promise

Claire- Please just hurry please
End of call

I was breathing really heavily and I was crying my eyes out. I heard a tap on the window. I knew it was Jim cause only he could come through my window. I signaled him too come in and he rushed over to me. " Hey, it's okay I'm here tell me what happened" He said rubbing my back and hugging me. I told him what happened except for what my mom texted me. " Well how about I stay with you tonight huh I will protect you I promise" He said. I nodded and I hugged his middle. He hugged me back and when we pulled apart he pecked my lips with his soft ones. we layed down on my bed and I snuggled up to him and he wrapped his arms around me as well. I breathed hus sent. He smelled like a forest and sweat but I didn't mind I would smell that sent for the rest of my life if I could. " I will always protect you" He whispered as he kissed the top of my head and those words made me feel safe. His voice made me feel safe. Jim made me feel safe. My parents were always busy that we never really had time together but Jim always made time for me no matter what. I soon fell asleep.
