Chapter 6
A/N: In the picture is Rhapsody.
Travis visited me all throughout the day. I pretended to be interested in every word as he told me all about himself and how he got here.
Apparently, my old guard was found dead not far from this very prison. Travis was the first, quickest replacement the police could get at the time, which is why he's here now.
He also told me that his only living family is an older brother who couldn't care less about his little brother's existence. I actually began to pity him.
But no matter what he talked about, he seemed to be happy to tell me all about it. And each time, he would sit right in front of me, lightly touching my arm, face, or hair.
He was currently complimenting me while playing with a strand of my hair.
"I've never met anyone so beautiful in all my life. I'd want nothing more than to hear your voice."
My eyes widened slightly. He moved a bit closer to me, tracing the edges of tape across my face.
"I don't know if I should remove this or not, everybody's been telling me not to and that you're dangerous."
I gazed at him with pleading eyes. He watched me for a moment before sighing.
"If I take it off, do you promise not to sing?"
I eagerly nodded. His fingers gripped the edges of tape. "Okay. I'm trusting you on this."
He quickly pulled the tape off my mouth, causing me to wince slightly. I took in a deep breath before smiling.
"Thank you."
"Your welcome. Uh, if I may ask, what's your name?"
"Harmony."
He gazed at me, his blue eyes scanning my face as a smile appeared on his lips.
"Now I can really take in your beauty."
"I know I promised not to, but may I sing just a little? It's been so long, I just want to test out my voice."
His eyebrows knitted together as he thought. I batted my eyelashes at him before he finally replied.
"Well, I guess that would be okay."
I smiled and started to softly sing.
"Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true
I'll make you whisper my name
And never leave the room
Night and day, I'll be your muse
No other girl can make you feel the way I do"
Travis' eyes became blank and expressionless just like anyone else who hears my voice. But the difference was the smile on his face, as if he enjoyed hearing me sing.
"I can make the stars dance
Light up the moon
I can make the stars dance
If you want me to
The sky is everywhere
So meet me under there
I can make the stars dance, dance, dance for you, you, you"
I stopped my song and watched Travis' eyes go back to normal while his smile only widened.
"That was absolutely beautiful. I could stay right here and listen to you forever. I'd-"
I cut him off by leaning forward and kissing his lips. I felt him stiffen slightly at the sudden contact. When I pulled away, I smiled up at him as he stared at me with wide eyes.
"W-What was that for?"
"For trusting me."
He had an overjoyed smile before it quickly turned into a frown. He grabbed the tape.
"I guess I should go for now. I've been here too long."
Before he could place the tape back over my mouth, I stopped him. "Wait. Please, don't. I can't take the silence anymore."
I gazed at him pleadingly, causing him to sigh and look down sadly.
"Listen, I don't want to do this, but I can't risk getting in trouble. Everyone already thinks I'm a screw up."
"I don't think you're a screw up."
He looked up at me in surprise. "On the contrary, I think you could be very useful."
He stared at me for a moment before finally asking, "What do you want me to do?"
I grinned in satisfaction at his question. "Set me free. If you help me get out of here, I'll let you come with me. You can become my servant, then you'll be able to stay by my side forever."
I scooted closer and leaned against his chest. "I-I don't know."
I began trailing my finger across his chest and giving his neck a few light kisses.
"And of course, I'd be happy to reward you. If there's anything you want at all, you can have it. Or perhaps you'd rather have me please you instead."
"O-Okay. Okay, I'll do it."
I smiled and leaned up, kissing his lips again. He started to kiss me back and I felt his hands roaming up my legs. I quickly pulled away from him.
"Nuh uh, free me first then I'll reward you later."
He nodded and stood up. "Alright. Hang on a minute. Let me get your key."
He quickly left my room, leaving me to smirk in triumph. This is it. I can finally get out of here. I'll gladly play with him later if he'll just help me out.
He soon came back with a ring of keys in his hand. He quickly skimmed through them before grabbing one. He stuck the key into the lock on the chains that binded my body and turned it.
With the chains loosening and falling off me, I got up, stretching my arms and legs.
"Ah, feels good to stretch. Come on, we need to free my sisters."
I walked past Travis and out the door. I looked down the corridor upon hearing a voice.
"Travis, you idiot! What have you done?!"
Travis stepped in front of me. "I'll protect you, Harmony."
With the guard quickly approaching, I grabbed Travis' arm and pulled him back. "Easy, tiger. I'll take care of him."
When the man was close enough, I grabbed him by the collar and yanked him closer. I opened my full mouth and devoured his soul. After dropping his corpse, I licked my lips in satisfaction.
"Mmm, that was the best meal I've had in months. Come now, Travis, my loyal servant."
He bowed his head respectfully to me. "Yes, my lady."
My lady. Lady Harmony. I like the sound of that. As we made our way down the hall, I glanced into the window of the cells, looking for my sisters.
I finally stopped at one, seeing the pink haired girl inside binded by chains like I was. I leaned my face closer to the small window.
"Melody."
She looked up at me, her eyes widening upon seeing me. I backed up and looked to Travis and pointed to the door. He found the key and unlocked the door.
We went inside, crouching in front of my sister. Travis undid her chains while I took the tape off her mouth. Melody smiled and hugged me.
"Harmony, I'm so glad to see you. Who's this?"
After releasing me, she stared at Travis. I smiled at her. "That would be my servant, Travis. Don't worry, he's on our side. Now let's go find Rhapsody."
Melody nodded and we all left, looking for our youngest sibling. We finally found her cell. Travis unlocked the door and let us in.
As we went over to Rhapsody, I could already see her shaking with excitement. We freed her only for her to jump up and hug us.
"Yay! You guys are the best! I had to go so long without talking, it was miserable! I just had so much to say that-"
I growled in annoyance and facepalmed. "Rhapsody, if you don't shut up, I'm going to leave you here."
She grinned and pretended to zip up her lips. "Okay!"
I rolled my eyes and led the others out. As we started to leave, we were soon surrounded by guards. I smirked and glanced at my sisters.
"Feed, my sisters. Time to satisfy that hunger we've had for the last few months."
With Travis behind us, we consumed the souls of all the guards around us. Rhapsody patted her stomach.
"Yum, what a meal!"
Travis stepped forward and bowed his head. "We should go, my ladies, before more guards come."
Rhapsody giggled. "Oooh, I like him already!"
I gestured to them all, saying, "Travis is right. Let's go."
We rushed down the corridors, taking down any guards in our way as we went. Finally exiting the building, I took a deep breath of fresh air and smirked.
"Finally, the sweet taste of freedom. Look out world, the Siren Sisters are back."
