We soared across the dark sky, heading toward the woods. "So what are we doing exactly?"

I giggled in amusement. "We, Rhapsody, are going to pay a quick visit to those psychopaths."

"What?! Why?!"

I stopped, hovering in place and looked back at Rhapsody. "Why? Because they kidnapped and chained us up. It's time to pay them back for it."

Melody then interrupted and said, "But I don't want to fight them."

I groaned in annoyance. "Then we won't fight them. I just want to see the looks on their faces when we show them that they can't control us anymore."

I continued on my way, flying down closer to the ground as we neared the woods. "Honestly, you two have grown too soft."

I noticed a man walking alone alongside the woods. I swooped down, wrapping my claws around his neck and lifting him off the ground. I flew into the edge of the woods, keeping my hold on the helpless guy.

I landed on my feet and looked down at the man. He stared up at me in fear as he choked and gripped my clawed hand, trying to get me to let go.

I heard something ahead of me as my sisters landed behind me. I looked up to see six familiar figures approaching. They all stopped and stared in shock with their weapons drawn.

I drug the man forward before lifting him up and consuming his soul. I dropped his body and laughed.

"Nice to see you boys again. Like our new looks?"

Jeff suddenly blurted out, "What the hell happened to you girls?! And why'd you run away?!"

I grinned. "This is what happens when we consume enough souls, we take our true forms. And we left to get away from all of you, obviously."

Masky then spoke up. "But why? We thought you had accepted our offer and decided to join us. We trusted you. Slender trusted you."

"And that was the biggest mistake you made."

Jeff seemed to glare at us. "I guess that means we'll have to take you by force."

They all rushed toward us. We quickly flew up out of their reach, dodging anything they threw at us. I noticed Jack a little farther from the others.

I quickly swooped down to him. He used a scalpel to defend himself, but I easily grabbed the blade in my claws and ripped it out of his grip.

"Harmony, I don't want to fight you."

"Aww, how sweet of you."

I traced my claw around the edge of his mask, lifting it above his mouth. "We could've had something special, Jack. So sorry it had to be this way."

I quickly yanked him forward by his collar and kissed his lips. He froze, and when I pulled away, I shoved him back onto the ground.

I flashed him a smirk before flying back away from him, leaving him looking dumbfounded. Before I could meet my sisters at the treetops, I felt something at my foot pulling me back.

I looked down to see Jeff and Ben holding onto a chain that they somehow managed to wrap around my foot. Feeling myself sinking, I flapped my wings harder, gaining a little altitude.

That's when all three of the proxies joined in, grabbing the chain and attempting to pull me down. My sisters rushed over, helping me to overpower the boys below us.

Jack finally got up from where he sat and helped the others. With one more quick pull, I was yanked out of the air and fell to the ground on my stomach.

As soon as I was on the ground, I was surrounded and restrained. I felt hands pulling my arms behind my back while my wings and tail were held down.

I struggled to free myself while hissing, snarling, and snapping my jaws at everyone. I finally tired out and stopped, breathing heavily.

I could see a figure suddenly appear in front of me followed by someone grabbing me by the horns and lifting my head up. I gazed up at Slender as he spoke.

"Looks like I put too much trust in you, Harmony."

I growled but didn't say anything else. "Get the other two."

"Wait. That won't be necessary."

My eyes widened upon hearing Melody's voice. I heard the sounds of my sister's wings as they landed beside me. My eyes darted up at them as Melody spoke.

"We're not like our sister. We don't want to fight any of you and we never wanted to leave. We just couldn't let our big sister run off on her own."

"What?!"

What is she saying?! Are they not going to fight back or free me at all?! They're both just going to give up like that?!

Slender seemed to nod in approval before his black tentacles began wrapping around all of us. In an instant, we were outside of the mansion.

The others stood me up as I gazed at my sisters, hurt by their words. "That's it then? You really don't agree with me at all? Rhapsody? Melody?"

They both seemed to look at me sadly before Rhapsody said, "We're really sorry, Harmony. We really like it here. We don't want to leave."

I actually felt slight tears welling up in my eyes, but I refused to let them fall, especially in front of everyone.

"So...so that's how it's going to be, huh? After everything we've been through, you choose them over me?"

They both turned their heads away, unable to even look at me. I've never felt so betrayed before. And by my own sisters. Feeling everyone's grip on me loosen, I jerked away from them and turned away.

"I...I'm going for a walk. And don't worry, I won't try to run away. I have no reason to anymore."

Hugging my arms, I slowly walked away, leaving everyone behind as I disappeared back into the forest.

Jack's pov

I watched Harmony as she disappeared past the trees. I actually feel kind of bad for her, seeing her sisters turn on her like that.

Slender's voice caused me to look back at him. "Melody, Rhapsody, you both wish to stay here?"

They both nodded. "And what about your sister?"

Rhapsody told him, "She's just being stubborn. She doesn't want to admit that she actually liked it here."

Melody added, "We have always followed Harmony, never questioning her actions or motives. But now, we finally found something more worthwhile. Harmony has always craved power, but hopefully now, after she's had a little time to think, she'll forget about all of that."

Rhapsody slowly nodded. "We just want her to see that there are better things to do with her time."

I noticed both sisters glance at me momentarily before looking up at Slender as he spoke. "I understand. I'm happy to have you both here. I hope that Harmony will soon join us as well."

The two girls both smiled happily and Melody said, "Thank you. I'm sure Harmony will come around."

Slender ushered us all inside. I hesitated, looking back to where Harmony left us. After going inside, everyone headed to bed for the night. It was hard for me to fall asleep though because I couldn't get Harmony out of my head.

The next day was pretty ordinary. Everyone relaxed, talked, watched TV, and played games. Rhapsody clung to Toby almost the whole time while I noticed Melody giving an unusual amount of her time to Jeff.

I sighed to myself, still feeling a bit down that Harmony wasn't here. Once night had fallen I stayed in my spot on the couch. The two sirens were the only ones to come say anything to me.

Melody placed a hand on my shoulder. "Hey, Jack, I know you must be worried about Harmony-"

"How would you know that?"

Rhapsody giggled slightly and said, "Um, hello, it's pretty obvious. You must really love her to be this down in the dumps."

"You could always go look for her. She can't be far. Maybe you could talk her into coming back. Besides, she's probably pretty mad at us, so perhaps she'll listen to you."

I slowly nodded and stood up. "Alright. I'll see if I can find her."
