"Well I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him so ya, plus he wanted to make sure I apologized. I'll take him home now." before any of them can speak again I take the arrow from Eli and plunge it into the ground and go back to his place, drop him off then head back to the pole. When back I don't see the Tooth Fairy anywhere but I do see North, Jack, Aster and Sandman there, with panic on their faces "what did I miss?"

"Trouble at tooth palace." Jack says

"TO THE SLEIGH!" yells North while walking off.

Following I refuse "Um no I'm not getting in some rickety old sleigh."

North laughs as the yetis pull out the death trap. "What about now?"

"That's an even bigger no now plus I'm pretty sure that my arrows are faster and safer."

"For once I agree with Sheila, my tunnels are faster and safer than the sleigh."

Jack, Sandman and North are already in the sleigh and waiting for us to hop in. "we need to stick together get in." bunny sighs knowing there is no winning this and jumps in.

"I'm not get-" I'm cut off by North grabbing and putting me in the back.

North starts to talk to a yeti "are we ready?" the yeti looks scared and shakes his head while saying some gibberish "Great let's go! Buckle up!"

Looking around I see no seat belts "WHERE ARE THE SEAT BELTS?" me and bunny exclaimed at the same time as the sleigh starts moving.

"HAHA IT WAS JUST EXPRESSION!" he yells back. We start to go extremely fast and up ahead I see a loop de loop "I HOPE YOU LIKE THE LOOP DE LOOP" at this point I was gripping the side so hard my knuckles were turning white and my nails were making marks on the red paint.

"HOPE YOU LIKE VOMIT!" I scream back not closing my eyes once, until we get out of the ice tunnel and into the air.

"Wow! Siren look at this view! Whow!" Jack flies off of the end of the sleigh. I scream and shut my eyes trying not to think that he might be dead all because he was a dumb ass. I hear his voice "awww you don't care do you?"

I scream at him "BACK OFF!" I feel a jolt, the weather changes and I peek to see that we're at Tooth Place. I quickly close my eyes again out of fear, and I only open them when I feel the sleigh landing. I look around a little to see the problem. What I see is a man dressed in all gray and black. Still scared that I'm going to have to go in the death trap again I find one of the guardians fighting a black sandy horse. Getting the idea I start to do the same, finding a black horse and shooting it. When the horses are gone I continue to stand on the platform with North's sleigh and wait for the guardians. Thinking that the threat is gone I stand there with my bow around my shoulder. I see one of my used arrows on the ground and pick it up, there was an engraved part on it that wasn't there before it said fear is near. I quickly pull my bow back again and start to move around looking for anything that might even resemble danger. While looking I hear behind me "and who's this? I've never seen you before." as fast as I can I whip around and shoot at who the voice belonged to. "Ohh my, my why would you do that? We don't even know each other." seeing it's the man in black from before, I keep my guard up and an arrow knocked, ready for loose.

"We might not know each other but the guardians seem to know, and hate you." I reply.

"Oh another one of them. I may as well kill you now then." I hear behind me a thump. I snap that way and feel something go through my stomach. Looking down I see a sword's hilt sticking out. I look up, see a child that's all black and shoot him, not caring that it's a child, they stabbed me so they die. Turning back to a shocked man in black. "I don't understand. How... how are you alive?" he speaks

Smirking I say "can't kill something that's already dead now can you?" while pulling another arrow back.

"Yes you can you can kill it. Do you even feel pain?"

"Ya I mean who doesn't feel pain now and again?"

"Well you have a sword impaling you, how the hell are you not screaming in pain?"

My smirk growing "like I said now and again. Plus I have had enough pain in my life to grow a resistance to it." I laugh a little at the end.

"Are... are you laughing?" still confused on how I'm not dead already, he questions me on my actions.

With the sword still in my gut I look for the guardians a little. I find them and nod at them as if to say 'attack him while we still have the chance' but I turn back to him and say "why yes, yes I am. Does it bother you?"

"A little yes."

"Why?"

"Because you're laughing with a sword going through your lower torso."

"Are you scared?"

"Fear can't be scared."

"And death can't die, but spn proved that wrong now didn't they?"

"What?" he asks confused.

I sigh "spn it's a T.V show." behind him I see Jack walking up, ready to attack. I nod again, giving him the signal to do as much damage as he can. But sadly before he does he gives out a battle cry and notifies the man in black that he's there. He turns around to look at Jack and quickly rises up a black wall of sand before Jack can shoot ice at him.

He speaks to me "HOW DARE YOU TRY AND DISTRACT ME?!"

I chuckle a little "well I think I succeeded. I mean you were distracted. Now I don't know if it was because I am just that entertaining or you are just that distractible, but what I tried worked now didn't it?" the next thing I hear is not from the man in black but it comes from all around me. More battle cries. I take the chance while the man is preoccupied with the guardians around me I shoot at him. The arrow pierces his shoulder and he let's out an ear-splitting shriek of agony. I smile knowing that I put a tracking device in all of my arrows because no one wants to run out of arrows and I can buy them so I kind of need the ones I have. After the man in black is done wailing he disappears into the shadows, taking my arrow with him. I find North and walk up to him "So is that all we have to do here?"

He looks at me "Yes that is all we have to do here but we might just want to do a once over just to make sure all of the Nightmares and Fearlings are gone."

Nodding I take out the sword out and, do a trick I learned some time ago when Eli broke his arm I, heal myself. I then go to find the Tooth fairy, to make sure she's ok. When I find her I sit down next to her "so, who was that?"

She looks at me as if I've gone crazy "that was Pitch Black," my face looked as confused as ever so she continues "the Boogie man," I nod in realization. "I don't know why he's come back after six years but he has, that's why Man In Moon choose you. You actually hit him, you distracted him, you got us to go after him when he was not paying attention, you did all that, you might not like children but you can still get hits in on him. Now we just need to know where he's hiding."

I smile "I think I got that covered as well," now it's her turn to look confused. I chuckle and pull out my phone. "I have this thing in all of my arrows that let me track them," I open the app that I have "and this thing here helps with that because it shows where they are," I show her the phone and zoom into her palace "see all those blue glowing dots?" she nods "each one of them is one of my arrows, now if you look here," I zoom out and in to where there is one single dot "that must be Pitch because it's the only dot in that area." she smiles "now I might not like kids but I do have one believer."

Shocked she asks "who is it?" I don't know why she doesn't remember him she's seen him

"His name is Elijah, he was my best friend before I died, he helped me through tough times when I was going to school."

She smiles "do you like him?"

"He's my best friend why wouldn't I like him?"

"No I mean like like him."

I let out a roar of laughter and I respond "no. Plus he's gay."

"Oh. You just spoke of him with such fondness that I thought..."

"I speak of him with fondness because he's my best friend, he's like my brother that I wish I had." chuckling a little as I remember the good times I had with my actual brother and the times he caught me when I fell. Then the times when he didn't. I broke my leg. Clearing my throat I speak "so what about you, Tooth Fairy do you like anybody?"

"Please call me Tooth, but yes I do," she responds with a little pink hue rising on her cheeks.

"Ohhhhh who is it."

She sighs "it's Jack." (A/N: Because I ship it).

I start to sing a little "love is in the air, everywhere I look around, love is in the air, every sight and every sound." I laugh a little as she becomes faintly red.

She looks at me "you have a beautiful voice did you know that?"

"I have been told that many of times, but I never believed them." Tooth looks bewildered "I always got teased because of my singing at school, so I grew up thinking that I suck, and I guess that it kinda stuck."

She looked flabbergasted "that's not true you have a lovely voice. Can you sing another song?"

Smiling a little I think of a song; Hallelujah by Panic! At the Disco "Oh!, a moment you'll never remember, and a night you'll never forget!, Oh!" I speak the first part.

"My life started the day I got caught, under the covers, with secondhand lovers, Oh, tied up in pretty young things." I feel eyes on me but I continue thinking that they are just Tooth.

Only to find all of the guardians staring at me. Blushing I look down.

Tooth claps and hugs me. "That was..." she hesitates and I start to get worried, until she speaks again, "amazing!" the rest of the guardians nod in agreement.

I smile "I think I should get my arrows now." and walk away with my phone in hand. I pull up my headphones and play my Panic! At the Disco playlist. The first song that pops up is 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' humming as I follow the blue dots on my phone.

I go through I Write Sins Not Tragedies, This is Gospel, Death of a Bachelor and Victorious, until I find all of my arrows but two, one of them is still with Pitch but I can't find my last one. Going after the last blue dot, till it's right in front of me, looking up all I see is Aster. I stop humming Crazy = Genius and look at him. He has my arrow in his paw and is examining it. I go to speak but he beats me to it "ya know mate, Tooth told us that you can track these things, and that you stuck one in Pitch."

"Ya so?" I reply

"So do you think you can find him?"

"That's what I was going for."

"Good. We need to find him before he finds us."

"Well no shit, he finds us we die because we aren't prepared, we find him on the, other hand, and get the jump on him, easy kill. Now if you don't mind can you give me my arrow?"

He gets in close "well mate I'm thinking that I might just keep it for a while."

Feeling his hot breath on my face pisses me off, because I like personal space, but I smirk a little "give me my arrow. Or else."

"Or else what mate?"

"Or else this," I kick him in the stomach, hard enough to wind him but not hard enough to hurt him. He drops my arrow to hold his abdomen. I pick it up and shove it in my quiver with the rest. "Never test me again got it?" he nods slightly, as I walk off.

I find Tooth, well more like she finds me, she flies down to me and starts talking "we need to get ready to find Pitch. It might take a day or two to recover so you can go back to Elijah for now."

I smile "thanks a lot Tooth." I stab an arrow into the ground and whisper "Eli's place."

When I get there I look around to find him in his room staring at the ceiling. Smiling I state "you should be sleeping, there is school tomorrow."

He rolls over to look at me "I was waiting for you Meagan, you know I can't sleep without music and I don't have any unless you're here. Plus I wanted to make sure you were ok."

"I'm always fine, and I always make it back. I would never leave you. I'll be here until you die, got it?" I already know that I'm going to outlive him. I'm going to outlive my family name, as the guardian of music. I'm not happy to be here because I have to watch my family die.

"I know but with how the Easter Bunny was that mad at you because you brought me there. I wanted to make sure that you came back uninjured."

I sigh "you're stalling Elijah, let's get you to bed ok?"

"Ya I'm happy to know you're all right." he snuggles deeper down into the bed and closes his eyes, waiting for me to sing, him to sleep.

Knowing the perfect song I start to sing "Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream, make him the cutest that I've ever seen, give him two lips roses and clover, then tell him that his lonesome nights are over." I start to sway a bit "Sandman, I'm so alone, don't have nobody to call my own, please turn on your magic beam, Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream, Sandman, I'm so alone, don't have nobody to call my own, please turn on your magic beam, Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream, Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream," I see Eli start to doze off "make him the cutest that I've ever seen, give him the word that I'm not a rover, then tell him that his lonesome nights are over, Sandman, I'm so alone, don't have nobody to call my own, please turn on your magic beam, Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream, Mr. Sandman bring us a dream." seeing that he is sleeping I go outside and lie down on his roof, to look at the stars.

"I miss you," I whisper into the night to my dead cousin, "I thought that when I died I would be reunited with you, I was sadly wrong," I sit up and sit in silence for awhile "you told me when you died that I would see you again." starting to get angry I yell "YOU LIED TO ME!" I stand "YOU LIED TO ME! WHY DID YOU LIE?! ALL MY LIFE I WAS WAITING TO SEE YOU AGAIN AND YOU NEVER CAME!" tears start to well up in my eyes "I LOVED YOU JESSE, WE ALL DID, AND THEN YOU HAD TO GO AND DIE! YOU WERE FAMILY! YA MAYBE YOU WEREN'T BORN INTO THIS FAMILY BUT WHEN YOUR MOM MARRIED MY UNCLE YOU BECAME FAMILY!" The tears are now freely falling down my face, "YOU TOLD ME I WOULD SEE YOU AGAIN!" My voice gets quieter "I just wanted to see you one more time." I fall down to my knees and cry for a minute thinking, of how he died, and when I think of something I stop and whisper "I might be able to see you." and stab an arrow into Eli's roof and say "the Pole."

When I get there I yell "NORTH!" with excitement in my voice.

He comes running around the corner with his swords in hand, ready for a fight. When he sees me somewhat smiling he relaxes "what is it Siren?"

"I need to meet all of the guardians."

"Why do you need to see the five of us?"

"No not just you guys I need to meet all of the guardians."

Confused he asks "why?"

With exhilaration in my voice I reply "I think my cousin might be one."

North looks at me with sadness in his eyes "Siren not just anyone can become a guardian. To become a guardian you have to-"

I cut him off quickly "save a life in place of your own, ya I know. He might have died in a car crash but he did save someone." not wanting to admit who he saved I stay silent.

"Who did he save?" he asks curiosity leaking from every word he speaks.

Knowing I have to say it to someone sooner or later I speak "Me he saved me."
