Hi all, Finn here.

I've a few things here I'd like to address and a couple of awesome announcements I'd like to make, so stick around and have some tea with me.

Firstly, if you're here, thanks for reading! The support I've received for The Sinister Fate of Joseph Redding and its side-along contest #FrightFest2016 has been phenomenal! You're all fantastic -- even you, silent reader. I've had immense fun writing and sharing this piece of fiction, and running the contest has been a joy getting to know my fellow authors.

So, what's next?

This might be the end of the first volume (A Man of a Thousand Pieces), but Joseph Redding will be back after the turn of 1889 (or 2017 if you'd rather) with the second volume in the series. Its title is yet to be announced but will predominantly follow the misdeeds of a man known elsewhere as the cellist: Varian Stone.

Steady on, cowboy. If you've been able to keep up with my profile activity lately you'll have seen that sharing this piece of fiction hasn't just been about me -- it's been about you too. Each week myself and a fantastic, credible team of guest judges awarded members of the horror, paranormal and thriller community some nifty prizes.

In typical Finn tradition the next chapter of this story will explore behind the scenes of A Man of a Thousand Pieces -- from conception to completion -- and explore some of the questions I've been asked along the way. As much as any writer I love being able to talk freely about my work, as well as answering: Where did you get the idea for Joseph? How did you come to write in a Victorian style? What was your inspiration? And, are you seriously that terrified of pill bugs?

I'M NOW THE MAGISTER OF THE OUIJA BOARD OF DIRECTORS!

Planning, preparing, hosting and running #FrightFest2016 this year has been pretty demanding (especially when you work full time!), but also one of the best decisions I've ever made in my career as a writer so far. It's brought me closer to the dark side of Wattpad than ever before and I'm thrilled to announce that I'm now the Magister of the Ouija Board of Directors at the ParanormalCommunity!

That's right! It's official! Drop in at my new home and come and say hello. We're a friendly bunch of guys and ghouls with loads to offer, updates to be had, contests to enter and collections to be a part of! We'll be rolling out a new look in the next few months, so watch this space.
