*Aizawa POV*

I was currently in the problem child's hospital room. He really over did it with his abilities. I was also contemplating how to mess with the fool. He started to stir which caused me to break out in my usual shit eating grin which I quickly got off my face. I watch as Izuku slowly sat up not noticing my presence.

Aizawa: You awake problem child?

I watch as he jumps from being startled and falls off the bed.

*thud*

Izuku: Geeze Aizawa what are you trying to do kill me?

Aizawa: You probably are asking if I mean to kill you right? Sorry to say I can't.

Izuku: Huh?

Aizawa: What you currently see in front of you is a hard light program Mei invented and set to activate the day you were predicted to wake up.

Izuku: What do you mean? This doesn't make sense!

Aizawa: You are probably saying something along the lines of this not making sense. Well let me fill you in on what's happened while you were asleep. First of all you've been asleep for 10 years. All your girlfriends have moved on and are either married, expecting their first child, or engaged. That's all the important info I can give at the moment. As of recording this the league of villains has re-surfaced and is causing trouble. Don't worry I'll add more when it's all over. *Monotone* End of recording replay?

Izuku: No way 10 years?! 😶

Just then his girls came in. He noticed right away that they are there.

Momo: Zuzu your awake!

Izuku: Momo after 10 years you still call me that 😭

Mina: 10 years?! Who told you that?

Izuku looks at me as I feel the girls glare into me. I'm trying hard not to have my sadistic grin.

Nemuri: Shota tell the truth. Now.

Izuku: Wait he isn't a hard light recording?

I hear the girls face palm. To be honest I don't blame them. For someone as strong and smart as Izuku is, he's not the brightest when it comes to my humor.

Momo: Zuzu hard light is still only a theory right now, and far off from even a prototype being made. You've been asleep roughly 12 hours. You technically beat Overhaul yesterday.

Now it was the magus' turn to glare at me.

Izuku: Ai.....za.......waaaaaaa!

Aizawa: Sorry kid couldn't resist.

Izuku: You nearly gave me a heart attack, and broke it at the same time you asshole!

After that outburst the girls hug the greenette.

Itsuka: I'm so glad your ok Izuku.

Fuyumi: I was so worried when you were brought here.

Izuku: It's ok girls I'm here, and I'm in one piece.

(Ace! 😭)

Toga: What happened IzuKun? One minute you were backing overhaul into a corner the next it's like you ran out of steam for a sec.

Izuku: That's exactly what happened I ended up using almost all my mana by the end of the fight. I had to force my circuits open at the end to finish the fight.

Just then the rest of the trouble makers walk in.

Kirishima: Oh IzuBro your up. Also digging the new look very manly.

Izuku: New look? What are you talking about?

Nemuri just reaches into her bag and pulls out a miniature mirror, and hands it to Izuku.

*Izuku POV*

Looking into the mirror I saw I had a large patch of white hair just above my right eye. I nearly jump out of my skin seeing that.

Izuku: What happened to me?!

I quickly find my phone and dial the one number I knew would have answers as to my new look.

Izuku: Come on pick up!

Shirou: Izuku do you have any idea what time it is London right now?

Izuku: Sorry I just had a few questions for you about anomaly.

Shirou: Explain please.

*Telling of the Overhaul fight*

Izuku: And when I woke up this morning I had a white patch of hair. Will I start getting tan, and start looking like an emo boy band version of myself?

Shirou: First of all rude. Second the skin bit won't happen unless you develop something like my UBW. Third what happened to you, is you over exerted your circuits if your lucky it's just the whitening of your hair. If your unlucky you might have fried your circuits when you forced them open. Lastly the "emo boy band" version won't happen unless an alternate timeline version of yourself made a contract with Alaya, and I honestly doubt that happened with your good nature.

Izuku: Thank you Shirou that puts my mind at ease. Tell Rin and Sakura I said hello.

Shirou: Will do.

With that all taken care of I breathed a sigh of relief before I remember something.

Izuku: Where's Eri?

Yuu: In a room herself for now.

Izuku: I should go see her to let her know I'm ok.

Mina: Midori you just woke up. Shouldn't you rest a bit more?

Izuku: She is probably terrified. She told me during the fight that people who are involved with her get hurt or killed. She needs to know that I'm ok so her heart can heal.

Girls: 'He will make an amazing father'

Aizawa: I'll show you to her room.

Izuku: Thank you.

Ochaco: After you get the all clear from your doctor.

This causes everyone to chuckle before the doctor examines me. Found out that I'll have some trouble walking, probably a draw back to over using my quirk according to the doctor. Though I was told this will heal in time. I was given a pair of crutches to help me move around. So after getting out of my hospital gown and into clean clothes I met everyone in the hallway.

Kyoka: What's with the crutches you ok Izuku?

Izuku: Ya probably just a side affect from forcing my circuits open near the end.

A solemn mood fell over the rest of 1-A till Kacchan spoke up.

Katsuki: Don't look so down extras he kicked Overhaul's ass. He's a goddamn hero.

Toga: That's not the point you nuclear pomeranian. IzuKun might never walk normally again.

Izuku: If it's the sacrifice I needed to make to save Eri then it's worth it.

This got me a glare from everyone except Nejire.

Izuku: Nejire you've been really quiet you ok?

Nejire: Just curious about something.

Izuku: As long as it's not a hundred questions rapid fire style I'll try to answer them.

Nejire: Why is your hair turning white? What did Shirou say? Will you still be able to use anomaly? Do you got OFA now? .....

Izuku: 'Forgot I didn't have Shirou on speaker' Ok slow down.

*Time skip*

Izuku: As for OFA I don't know I'll try when I can move better. Anyway I should go see Eri.

Nemuri: We're coming with you.

Izuku: Don't. She is easily scared after all she went through. So i dont want to overwhelm the poor girl.

With that Aizawa led me to Eri's room. I knocked but got no reply. I looked at the older hero with me who just shrugged in response.

Izuku: Eri I'm coming in.

Openning the door I saw her sitting on the bed with her knees to her chest while crying. So that's why there was no reponse earlier she probably didn't hear. Making my way over and sat on the side of the hospital bed. She flinched when she felt the bed sink some with the added weight.

Izuku: Eri everything ok?

She shyly looks up before nearly tackling me off the bed.

Eri: Mr Arsenal your ok!

Izuku: It's Izuku when I don't have my hero costume on. Also I told you I'd be ok cause you know my secret identity.

Eri: *in tears* When they put you in the ambulance and brought you here I was so scared I was responsible for you getting hurt.

Izuku: I'm a heck of a lot tougher then I look. Hey Aizawa do you know what's going to happen to her?

Aizawa: Well we investigated it, but there is no girl named "Eri" in all of Japan. A kidnapping report was never filled out. So it's next to impossible to find out if she has any family out there. If I had to guess once her health is back to normal she'll either be put in an orphanage or into foster care.

Izuku: Hey Eri do you remember your name or even your parents?

She just shakes her head with it barried in my chest, as her grip on me tightens for the second time since I've met her. Not wanting a second "Overhaul" to happen to her I made a choice. Looking over at Aizawa I steeled my nerves before I spoke.

Izuku: What if I adopt her?

This causes Eri to look up at me in surprise, and causes the teacher to have a soft smile instead of his usual sadistic one.

Aizawa: I had a feeling you'd say something like that so I called someone who can help.

Izuku: Who?

Nezu: That would be me.

Watching as the principle somehow pops out of Eraserhead's capture gear makes both me and Eri jump.

Izuku: How will you help Nezu?

Nezu: Well first of all I got a question for you first Izuku.

Izuku: Ok shoot.

Nezu: Are you sure you want to do this it's a huge responsibility and your only 17?

Izuku: Without a doubt in my mind.

Nezu just smiles at my reply before pulling a piece of paper out of nowhere.

Nezu: Sign this and you will officially be her father. Don't worry with the exception of Nemuri I've talked to the other teachers, and while class is going on whoever has free time will teacher her the basic education needed for a child of her age.

Izuku: Why not tell Nemuri?

Nezu: Your her boyfriend, I think it would be better to hear about it from you then me.

Izuku: You got a point, thank you Nezu. You hear that Eri we can be a family.

Eri: 😢 Thank you d-d-d......

Izuku: You don't have to call me dad or anything if your uncomfortable with it.

Eri: Thanks so much p-papa.

I felt my heart melt as she called me papa.  After that I finished off the paper work which Nezu said he'd file for me. The nurse said they'd like to keep Eri for a couple more days to see if there was any lasting health affects from Overhaul's abuse. I was told to go home and get some rest. Eri didn't want me to leave, but I told her I'll be there everyday till she could come home. After I got home with the help of All Might, I told the girls of my adoption of Eri.

Momo/Kyoka/Ochaco/Nejire: Who's going to be her mom?

Mina/Itsuka/Toga: Can I be her mom?

Fuyumi/Nemuri/Yuu: As long as she is happy.

Izuku: I'll let her choose who she wants to call mom.

*Time skip*

It's the day I can bring Eri back home with me.  Everyday I was in visiting her as she recovered.  Right now we were standing in front of the door as I looked as Eri.

Izuku: Ready to meet your new family?

She just nods while hiding behind me.  As we go in the girls are nowhere to be found until.....

Girls: Congratulation on your recovery Eri Midoriya!

They jump out to surprise her.  Which just makes her hide more.

Izuku: It's ok they mean no harm.

With that the Eri came out from behind me.

Eri: H-Hello my n-name is E-Eri Midoriya.

Ochaco: Oh my god she's like a miniature Dekiru.  So cute.

I smile at this as the girls gush over how cute she is.  I became apparent that Nejire and Eri bonded first.  Though if you ask me it was more of like sisters then anything else.

Over time Eri got use to living with us.  When I no longer needed the crutches to move around is when something interesting happened.

Fuyumi: Eri sweetie it's time for bed.

Eri: *Sleepy* Ok mom.

Fuyumi/Izuku: ???

Fuyumi: Did she just?

Izuku: I think so.

Even with Eri starting to call Fuyumi mom the little girl still won't laugh or smile.  Well she does smile but it seems fake to me.  It wasn't till the culture festival when the rest of class 1-A decides to do a concert that I figured out what to do.

Izuku: Eri sorry I can't hang out at the culture festival with you.

Eri: 😢 Why papa

Izuku: Because I got to help my class with our set up for it.  Don't worry your uncles Mirio and Tamaki will keep you company till I'm done.

Eri: Fine but you owe me lots of apples baka papa.

Izuku: Of course my little snowball.

Though the best laid plans of mice and men always go awry.  That being I was almost late to curtain call due to having to stop Gentle Criminal and La Brava from ruining the festival.  As much as I respected them both I couldn't let them ruin it.  I manage to get there in time just barely.  With Kacchan on drums, Kyoka on guitar, Shoto on base, Iida on keyboard, and myself as vocals we were ready.

As I looked out into the crowd I saw Eri on top of Mirio's shoulders she was smiling and cheering.  It looked genuine this time.

After the show I walked around the culture festival with Eri as well as the girls.  Everything went well, Eri was smiling and laughing like a girl her age.  No longer was the shadow of Overhaul hanging over her.  That night when it was time for Eri to go to bed, she was giving me some grief.

Izuku: Eri it's time for bed

Eri: I don't want to yet.

Izuku: Come on little one what would it take?

Eri: Can you sing me a song papa?

Izuku: Sure I can.  How bout something calm and beautiful for my snowball.

(Just change a couple lyrics to fit Eri)

When I finished singing Eri was asleep.  Tucking her in I kiss her forehead before leaving the room.  Heading down to the common room I look out the window towards the full moon.

Izuku: If this is what peace feels like I don't want it to end.

End of peace?  Holy crap this was a long chapter to write.  Next time we meet it will be in Epilogue: War.  So this is it the end of my first fan fic is an epilogue away.  Man was this a ride.  I'm almost sad to see this part of it come to an end.  Till next time.
