That evening Severus heard a knock at the door and went to open it. It was Lola
"I think we can forget about this detention Miss Scott, as you have been so forgiving towards me...." He said slowly
The girl nodded and was going to leave but he stopped her
"Miss Scott, I would like you to know that if there's anything bothering you... You can talk to me I am your head of house, I do not wish to see problems effecting a students education" he gave the girl a small nod. "Please, keep out of my business ok?" She scowled and ran off as fast as lightening across a nights sky

She ran down the stairs and out into the night air, she looked at her Map and followed it down to the black lake. She threw her bag on the floor and sat down. Callum was on her mind 24/7
She looked out across the water and sighed
Little did she know that Severus followed her out of the castle and crouched behind a tree close to her, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up as she began to sing

She began to sob her eyes out, and placed the item in her bag
Severus could not believe how beautiful her voice was, and how beautiful she is
He hated her and lusted after her at the same time
Severus wondered to himself if he should go to her, tell her everything would be OK..
'No, that's a bad idea' he scolded himself but his heart got the better of him

He stepped out from behind the tree and walked up behind her, she heard something rustle behind her and turned round, she couldn't believe he was there
"How long have you been here?" She sneered through her tears
"Just now, this second" he lied and he was sure she believed him

He sat down beside her and looked at her cheeks that were wet from tears
"What is bothering you Miss Scott?" He asked gently
"It's nothing, nothing at all" she sniffed drying her eyes on her sleeve
"I'm not stupid, you are crying. Please tell me what's going on... Maybe I can help in Some way" Severus tried to reassure her. "You can't help me, no one can. Please, just keep out of my business Professor" she groaned

"Very well, I won't ask any more questions" he gave a small smile and looked away towards the water. He turned for a second to scan her face, she was gorgeous beyond anyone he'd ever met
Glossy chocolate brown hair with golden highlights... Natural of course. And vivid aquamarine eyes. She turned to look at him and he cleared his throat and stood up

"Miss Scott, I shall escort you back to your dormitory. It is getting rather late"
Lola looked up at him and nodded, she jumped up grabbed her bag and trailed behind him
His robes slapping her as she walked
