Lola went to the great hall and sat at the Slytherin Table, she didn't want to talk to anyone and just wanted to be left alone. The man with long black hair stormed into the room and caught her eye, his black eyes locked on to hers with a nasty look "Detention, with me tonight at 7pm you idiotic girl, call it a welcome to Hogwarts" he sneered and marched past towards the staff table.

'What a turd' She thought to herself, there was no way in hell she planned on going to that detention
She looked around at all the food and had to admit it did look rather tasty
Her old school only served toast and cereal, here they have bacon! 'Hurray for bacon!' She thought
She brought her eyes up towards the staff table and that gobshite Snape was filling his face
'Twat' she smirked

The boy she spoke to earlier for directions was glaring at her, he had slicked back blonde hair and permanent smirk on his face. She caught his eye and looked away as fast as possible
There was something weird about that guy.
She ate her breakfast and then pulled her timetable from her bag.
"Astronomy? Nah I think I'll pass thanks" she groaned and picked up her things before heading out of the great hall.
She headed straight back to the Slytherin Dorms, kicked off her shoes and threw herself onto the bed, she reached for one of her magazines and started to read.

The day  passed slowly and she thought she might attend one of her classes, charms.
She asked a tall boy with red hair where the charms class room was and he pointed her in the right direction. "Here" he said passing her a hand drawn map. "I used it in my first year" he smiled. The map had the locations of nearly everything in the castle. "Cool thanks" she smiled and went on her way. She hadn't got far when a dark figure appeared in front of her

"Damn, you need to work on that sneaking up thing you do" she smirked and continued past
He grabbed her arm aggressively "and you need to work on your attitude! Where are you going?" He snarled.
"Charms" she sighed with a bored looking face
"Well I hear you haven't attended any of your other lessons today Miss Scott, care to explain?" He seethed into her face
"Nah, not really. Bye" she grinned pushing past him and heading off to charms class

Snape was seething inside and out, 'that insolent brat' he roared in his thoughts
He wanted to go to Dumbledore to complain about her behaviour but he thought her detention would be enough punishment, and to be honest he couldn't be bothered to waste his time only for Albus to ignore everything he says as usual
He stormed back to the dungeons to prepare for a 3rd year lesson he had next period

Lola arrived at charms and burst into laughter when she saw Professor Flitwick
"You are kidding me?" She laughed
"Take a seat Miss Scott, and try and behave yourself I have heard enough about your history"
He boomed, well it was more like a squeak
She took the only seat available which was next to some Slytherin called Blaise
And watched as the professor gave instructions and demonstrations of the charm
She followed those instructions accurately and the small man was rather impressed
"Well done Miss Scott, correct the very first time!" He beamed
She couldn't help but feel good, she felt proud of herself
