Severus could not believe what he had seen, or heard even. He sat in his chambers and went over it in his head. He could hear the pain in her voice and it cut through him like a knife
The words she sang reminded him of Lily. But the question was who had caused her to feel such an ache? And how can such a stunning voice come from such a insufferably rude brat.

Lola walked through the corridors, with her map. She wasn't tired so it was the perfect time to explore. She roamed the halls as if she were a ghost and even found the gryffindor towers, the red headed boy she spoke to earlier was a gryffindor. She went up and down the moving staircases getting annoyed when they would take her somewhere she didn't want to go
'Argh these stairs are bloody disorientating' she complained to herself

She walked along the hallways until she came across the kitchens, she was feeling kind of hungry but decided against going in and having a midnight snack
Heading back towards the Slytherin dungeons a hand grasped her arm
"What are you doing out of bed Miss Scott?" Professor Snape snarled
"Not sleeping obviously" she smirked

"Why you insolent little shit! Come with me NOW!" He ordered dragging her to the potions class room. "SIT DOWN" he roared at her and she threw herself onto a chair
Lola glared at him and sighed "you really need to chill out Snapester" she grinned evilly
"I'm warning you girl... Don't. Anger. Me." He drawled he could see he was getting no reaction at all from the girl. She wasn't afraid of him in fact she found it amusing

"Why didn't you come to detention?" He said calmly trying to compose himself
'Maybe a different approach would work' he thought
"Couldn't be arsed" she said proudly. "Right, so you couldn't be arsed to attend detention? What an impressive dunderhead you are" he smirked at the girl

Lola sat there playing with the rings on her slender fingers and sighed
"Where were you earlier?" He inquired with eyes narrowing at the young witch, 'would she be honest?' He wondered
"Nowhere" was all she said. "I don't believe that Miss Scott as it's impossible for one to be nowhere, you are always somewhere, so again where were you?" He sneered getting infuriated
"Getting some fresh air... Can I go now?" Lola smiled a false smile

"Why do you want to leave Miss Scott, does one not enjoy my company?" Snape jibed meeting her eyes across the desk. "No, I find your company boring and irritating Professor" she told him very matter of factly
"Do you want a weeks detention Miss Scott? Because with that attitude it will have a high likelihood of happening" he seethed his eyes growing cold and nasty
"A weeks detention is fine with me Sir, I have no intentions of attending anyway" she smiled sweetly.
"I will be talking to the headmaster about you tomorrow, I think I've just about had enough. You may go"
Lola jumped up from her chair and blew him a kiss before leaving with a smirk on her face.
