Severus was in the great hall for breakfast, Albus was making an announcement
"Today, we have a new student joining us! I'm pleased to welcome our newest addition to Ravenclaw, Mr Callum Davis!" Everyone cheered as the boy rose to his feet at the Ravenclaw table. Severus' blood boiled, it was him! That dunderhead ex!
He turned his gaze to the Slytherin table and saw Lola running out of the hall.

He felt a fury like no other, he swore on merlins beard he would make that boy suffer.
He worried too, what if Lola went back to him? What if she still loved him?
Severus followed Lola out of the hall and grabbed her by the arm, "Lola, my classroom in 5 minutes" he ordered and swished off down the corridors

Lola arrived and tried to greet Severus with a kiss, but he pulled away
"Lola, I know it's him I recognised his face right away.... Please tell me you won't leave me" he asked desperately. Lola looked up at him desperately, she wanted to tell him that she would never leave him. Her face turned to fury as she took in exactly what he said
"Hold on, Callum is a popular name how did you know he was my Callum?" She seethed

"I have to tell you something Lola, and you must promise me you won't be upset" he begged for confirmation. "I will promise nothing, now tell me please!" She cried out
"I wanted to know more about this boy, I went through your trunk to find the picture you held while singing one night" he explained hoping she would understand
"WHY?" She screamed in anger, Severus grabbed her arms to try to soothe her
"Because I wanted to see who he was, he looked just like me!" He said coolly

"What are you trying to say?" She sneered narrowing her eyes
"Lola, are you with me just because I remind you of him?" Severus asked feeling annoyed
Lola slapped him hard in the face and turned to leave only stopping to scream
"How could you think that? Just because I have a physical type doesn't mean you're some
Replacement!!" She began to sob and slammed the door behind her

Severus felt bad, but he just couldn't get his head around Callum being at Hogwarts
It tormented him, it put ideas in his head, it made him so paranoid
Severus knew he had to explain himself to Lola, he couldn't bare the thought of her hurting because of him. But he knew her, and he knew her very well, she would want to be left alone to calm herself down. Merlin knows there's nothing like Lola Scott being angry

Lola was walking down the corridors heading to Charms class when a boy she knew well turned the corner, he approached her desperate to talk
"Lo'... I'm so sorry for what happened, I want to make this right." Callum said
"Its too late, I don't want you anymore! I have moved on Cal and you need to except it, I hate you and I would never dream of forgiving you!" She screamed
"Please Lola, hear me out....." He begged like an idiot
"No, and why are you here anyway?" She seethed through clenched teeth
"Exchange, I'm exchanging with a girl named Luna... Please Lo' hear me out"
"No, I'm sorry but I don't want to speak to you. And I certainly don't want to hear you out! I sent owls to you and you never responded, in the end I wrote owls to you and couldn't bring myself to send them! How pathetic is that? Please, Callum if you ever cared for me... Keep away from me" she told him with tears filling her eyes.
Severus turned the corner and saw her walking away from the boy with teary eyes, he slunk back around the corner until Lola had passed. And got the wrong idea

After a few hours he went to find her, she was stood outside the great hall talking with George Weasley and Cho Chang. "I want to speak to you Miss Scott, please follow me" he spat and she followed him to the dungeons.

"I should never have gone through your personal belongings... I'm sorry..I promise that no matter what the situation I will not do it again, ever" he told her sadly
"I except your apology" she sighed, she still felt hurt that he worried about Her and Callum
"Listen Lola, how would you feel if Lily was still alive and came here? You cannot tell me it wouldn't eat you alive! Can you please just imagine being in my shoes?" He pleaded desperately

Lola knew he was right, "listen to me, yes there is a part of me that still loves him.. A person cannot just turn off their feelings like a tap." She explained honestly
Severus nodded, she was right he would always have some form of feelings towards Lily
He nodded at Lola to continue
"But I don't want Callum anymore, I might still care for him but it's you I want! And he will never ever change that.... I love you Severus" she smiled
"I just, don't believe that Lola... You're just going to leave me for him!" Severus sighed.
