Severus woke up to find Lola was gone, he went downstairs to find her and the smell of bacon and coffee smacked him in the face. "Lola...." He began as he walked into the kitchen to find her cooking. "Good morning Severus, I hope your don't mind but I thought I'd make you some breakfast" she beamed at Severus. He loved to see her happy like this, it's what made him fall for her. He certainly wasn't attracted to her mood swings.... well maybe just a little bit.

He took a seat at the kitchen table and smirked "So, talented singer, talented chef, is there an end to your talents?" He enquired with a chuckle. "Nope, I'm also good at being dumped, exceptional at falling in love with someone I shouldn't, and a bit nifty at sarcasm" she laughed placing a plate of bacon, toast, eggs and a cup of coffee in front of Severus. She took a seat at the table once she dished up her food.

Severus couldn't help but think about what she said 'falling in love with someone I shouldn't'
Was that about him? 'Don't be ridiculous Severus' he thought. 'She must have meant Callum' thoughts flew around in his head making him agitated. "Is something wrong with the food?" Lola asked feeling slightly worried.
"No, it's lovely thank you" he smiled and she relaxed a bit
"Lola, when you said you were good at falling for someone you shouldn't... Were you referring to that Callum buffoon?" He asked shyly. He could not believe what he had just asked and nervously awaited her response. Lola remained silent which only worried Severus more.

Then she spoke.. "No, I wasn't talking about him." She blushed and couldn't raise her eyes to his
"So you like someone else? Don't tell me it's a Weasley..." He jibed
"No, can we just change the subject please?" she snapped, "why don't you just tell him how you feel?" Severus smiled gently.
"I can't because he already likes someone else, he told me all about her and she sounds amazing. I wouldn't stand a chance.." She sighed sadly
"I'm sorry to hear that, but at least you're slowly moving on from Callum. You must be if you have feelings for another" he smiled trying to make her see it from another angle

Lola knew Severus was right, she was slowly getting over Callum. Although she still had moments when she went right back to loving him. The problem was that even if she did have another relationship they would probably leave her just like Callum did.
Not that it mattered, the one person she secretly adored wanted someone else and she could never be 'breathtakingly beautiful' like he said she was.
