9. Like a child
Murdoc rampaged through 2d's closet. Why is everything in here so colourful? He picked up a shirt. Sheesh, where does he get all these designs from? He picked up another one, a white one with long sleeves. Hello kinky? This is genius, why doesn't he wear this to school? Actually... yeah, I don't think he's allowed... Murdoc tossed the shirt onto the bed and then picked up a hoodie. This should keep him warm. He took a random pair of jeans, the hoodie, and the long-sleeved shirt and returned to the bathroom.
Upon entering the cold room Murdoc saw 2d aimlessly staring at the wall, day dreaming, the towel was still on his head. Murdoc rolled his eyes and tossed the clothes onto the floor, then went to stand in front of the bluenette. 2d blinked a few times, returning to reality, and then looked up at his new 'friend'.
"I thought I told you to dry your hair." Murdoc scowled.
"I-It's relatively dry..." 2d tried to explain.
"Sure." Murdoc said sarcastically before placing his hands over the towel again and drying 2d's hair, this time more gently. 2d just sat there in silence, he didn't know how to feel about this situation.
I don't have anyone like that anymore... anyone who cares... I mean, sure, my parents care, but my dad's literally never home and my mom always comes back so late and leaves before I wake up... and Paula's been so distant lately... I just.... I know I should stay away from him, he's bad for me... but.. I know he's not the type of person who would just fuck off... he says he wants to be friends, and I bet he won't stop bothering me until he achieves his goal and I call him that... so why not try? He's trying, so I might as well... it's not like I have a choice... I'm stuck with him for the rest of high school... maybe it won't be that ba- 2d's thoughts were interrupted by Murdoc suddenly grabbing the bottom of his muddy shirt and pulling it up, over his head.
"What are you doing??" 2d tried his best to cover his bare chest with his hands. He looked up at Murdoc with wide, scared eyes.
"I asked you multiple times to take your shirt off." Murdoc picked up the white long-sleeved shirt from the floor. "You weren't responding so I decided to take matters into my own hands." He spoke nonchalantly. 2d looked at him, weirded out.
"Aren't you.. bothered by it?"
"Up." Murdoc commanded, and 2d reluctantly raised his hands. "Bothered by what?" Murdoc continued the conversation while sliding the clean shirt onto the bluenette. "Undressing you? I've done it before."
"You what??" 2d jumped. I don't remember that ever happening! Should I be worried??
"Calm down." Murdoc finished putting the shirt on the bluenette and took a step back, satisfied. "I took care of you when you were comatose, remember? Your parents were never home so I had to be there for you as part of social services, and that sometimes required changing your clothes." 2d relaxed a bit, but wasn't happy with the thought of Murdoc having complete access to his body. "Here." Murdoc handed him the jeans and hoodie. 2d looked at him, confused. "I'm not going to put your jeans on for you, I think you can do that yourself." Murdoc stated then left the bathroom, heading downstairs.
2d sighed and looked down at the clothes. He waited a bit, listening to what was going on downstairs, he didn't trust Murdoc alone down there. He heard a clutter which he recognised to come from the kitchen and then the kettle turned on. What's he doing?? 2d quickly put the jeans on, not feeling the need to put the hoodie on, and cleaned up the dirty clothes from the bathroom. He threw the hoodie into his room and headed downstairs.
By the time 2d entered the kitchen the kettle was already off. As he stood in the doorway he saw Murdoc doing something with food, he couldn't exactly tell what.
"What are you doing?" 2d asked cautiously, not moving closer.
"Food." Murdoc replied, then looked over at the bluenette. His face expression turned harsh, scaring 2d. What did I do wrong this time?? "Where's the hoodie I gave you?" Murdoc started to wipe his hands clean with a cloth.
"Um, I didn't feel the need to wear it.." Murdoc walked up to him and grabbed him by the wrist, dragging him to the living room. "I-I really don't see why you have to be angry about that..."
"As I said before, you're going to be ill. I don't want that." 2d couldn't tell if Murdoc was being sincere or not, but it felt nice to think that he cares.
Murdoc sat the bluenette on the couch and covered him in a blanket. 2d immediately noticed a cup on the coffee table in front of him.
"What's that?" 2d asked, freeing his hand from under the blanket and pointing to the cup.
"Tea. I thought I'd make you something to warm you up... Don't worry, I didn't poison it." Murdoc joked, but 2d didn't find it particularly funny. "Don't drink it yet, you'll burn yourself 'coz it's too hot."
"Murdoc I know how to drink tea. Please stop treating me like a child." Murdoc looked at him with an unreadable face expression.
"Well I don't know how else to treat you, I was supposed to be nice so I am." 2d sighed. "Now wait here, I'm going to be back." Murdoc walked back to the kitchen and soon returned with two plates, a sandwich on each. Murdoc handed one plate to 2d and then sat down on the couch next to him.
"U-Umm..." 2d was starting to have second thoughts about Murdoc being nice. Now he's going to expect more from me, isn't he? "I'm not hu-" 2d was interrupted by his stomach loudly growling.
"You were saying?" Murdoc looked at him with a smug look.
"N-Never mind..." 2d mumbled, turning to the blank tv screen and starting to eat.
Guess who's going to Poland again... *sigh
Btw sorry for the spelling mistakes, I'm too tired.
