5. Thank god it's friday

Needless to say, the next day 2d didn't keep his promise. In the morning he even contemplated wether he really needed to go to school or not. Maybe he could just stay home and avoid this mess? No.

The bluenette did his absolute best to avoid Murdoc. He was late to lessons, left them early, walked down corridors he never used, and never stayed in one place for too long. He wasn't going to make the same mistake as yesterday, he still doesn't know how the bassist managed to find him.

The day was going relatively well, it was time for the last lesson and there was still no sign of Murdoc. There was a slight problem though, the teacher who was going to teach his last lesson was the scariest woman ever. If 2d was late to lesson by even a minute she would keep him back for a 30 minute detention, and then the bassist would definitely find him.

The bluenette sighed and started walking to lesson, hoping that the satanist wouldn't be there. He saw all his other classmates by the open classroom doors, talking to their friends and not wanting to go in. He was about to walk through the doorway when he felt a strong hand grab the back of his collar. 2d gasped as he was aggressively yanked back, away from the classroom, and then slammed against a wall. The corridor went silent. In front of him stood Murdoc, he was angry. The bassist leaned his hand on the wall, just above the petrified bluenette's shoulder.

"2d." Murdoc growled. "Are you avoiding me again?" Everyone watched, some people even gasped.

"N-no..." 2d quaked, shaking his head. The bassist just glared at him.

"I need to talk to you."

"Y-Yeah, I know..." the bluenette trembled. "I-I thought we were going to talk after school... i-in band practice..." Murdoc's face expression was unreadable, 2d couldn't tell if he believed him or not.

"Oh really?" The bassist voice was low and pissed. 2d nodded. "And you're actually going to show up? You know if you don't I'm going to literally kill you."

"I-I'm aware..." 2d gulped. After a moment of seeing how terrified the bluenette was Murdoc stepped back.

"After school. Music room. Got it?" He commanded. 2d nodded, still against the wall. "Good." Chatter slowly returned to the hallway as Murdoc left; everyone was wondering what 2d did to get Murdoc so pissed.

The bluenette sighed and looked down, reluctantly walking into the classroom. He was going to die, he knew he was, because he wasn't going to show up after school...

The lesson passed slower than it usually would. 2d kept fidgeting and looking back at the clock. Everyone in the class noticed this, and it just fuelled their curiosity about what happened between the two.

I'm going to be fine... I'm going to be fine... the bluenette repeated in his head. If I manage to escape immediately after school I'll be good... Then I'll have the whole weekend without him... maybe he'll get bored and give up?

The moment the bell rang 2d abruptly got up and dashed out of the door, he then run down the corridor. The rest of the students just observed while also leaving the room. That's not the direction of the music room... they thought. Everyone started murmuring until they were silenced by the sound of Cuban heels against the hallway floor, coming towards them. Everyone turned around to see Murdoc.

"Where's 2d?" He asked. Worried looks were exchanged and hesitation was in the air. Do they betray the poor boy and tell Murdoc? Or do they stand up to the demon bassist and lie about not knowing? "Where is he?" Murdoc was getting impatient.

"He ran for it..." someone finally spoke up. As sad as it was, standing up to Murdoc was impossible. He was too dangerous. Everyone felt bad for 2d but no one could do anything, he was a sort of sacrifice. Before 2d and Murdoc met the bassist would bully anyone who got in his way, even looking at him was dangerous. No one was safe. But after the bluenette appeared in his life, Murdoc concentrated on making only his life miserable. He indirectly saved everyone in school. The students appreciated this, not bothering the blue boy, even all the other bullies stayed away from him.

"He's so dead." Murdoc growled under his breath and then walked away. Maybe it's better this way. He thought. Now I have two more days to think about how to persuade him to join the band. I can't just force him, otherwise he won't take it seriously and will always try to back out... honestly the best way to get him to join would be to get him to trust me, but how will I ever do that?! Why would he out of all people trust me?? Murdoc sighed, this wasn't going to be easy.

2d spent the weekend absolutely paranoid. He knew that Murdoc didn't know where he lived, but there was always a chance that he would just appear out of nowhere.

The bluenette made all sorts of excuses to his mom about not going to school on Monday, but she wouldn't listen. She knew that his grades weren't great and there was no way he was skipping a day of school.

When she asked him why he didn't want to go so badly he didn't reply. If his mom learnt that he was having trouble with Murdoc she would start a mess. She would contact the school and Murdocs dad, and that was a bad idea. 2d spent enough time with Murdoc and listened to enough of his complaining to know that his dad was even worst than him.

Getting the school involved was also a bad idea, the way things were at school could never change; neither the students nor the teachers cared about what happened to him as long as they weren't the ones being picked on.

In society people usually only care about themselves... it's bullshit.

The irony of it is that I wrote this chapter on a Friday...
