I was blackmailed into updating this...

"What...?" 2d's scared voice woke Murdoc up. He slightly opened his eyes, and after a second they shot open. There was concern in them.

"2d, how are you feeling?" The bluenette thought for a moment, afraid. He wanted answers, but was just getting questions.

"I-I'm fine, I guess..." Murdoc sighed with relief.

"Does anything hurt?" He continued questioning. 2d thought for a moment.

"No..." That's weird. He thought. I thought my ass would have hurt after we had sex... I guess I was worried for nothing...

"Good." Murdoc smiled and then placed his hand over 2d's forehead, confusing him. "Looks like your fever came down too."

"What?" Murdoc took his hand away. "We had sex while I had a fever?" Murdoc suddenly shot up into a sitting position, choking on thin air.

"What...?" He managed to say, and then burst out laughing when he saw what kind of situation they were in. 2d sat up next to him, even more confused. The atmosphere around the seemed to lighten up.

"So we didn't have sex...?" He wearily asked. Murdoc managed to calm himself down and looked at 2d, smiling.

"No, of course not." Although yesterday Murdoc was kinda hoping for it.

"Then what are you doing here? Like this?" 2d asked.

"You called me yesterday, in the middle of the night, asking me to come over. You didn't explain anything, all you said was that you need me and that your mom's not home. When I got to your house I saw you in bed with a very high fever." 2d looked at him in shock.

"Wh... What time was this?" He asked.

"Dunno, around 5 am?" 2d was amazed.

"And you came over? This early? Just because I asked you to?" Murdoc chuckled and ruffled the bluenette's hair.

"Of course. You know you can count on me." 2d felt warm on the inside. "Anyway, I made you some peppermint tea, which I'm guessing went cold by now, and stayed up with you. You were rocking back and forth on your bed holding your stomach. I didn't know what to do so I took you to the bathroom so you could vomit and maybe feel better." Murdoc looked at 2d sadly. "I was really worried about you, y'know." 2d didn't even know what to say. "When you said you felt better, I took you to your bed again. You asked me to stay, so I did."

"Th-Thank you..." 2d mumbled out. He leaned in and hugged Murdoc. "Thank you..." Murdoc sighed and hugged back. It was a warm hug, with lots of emotions in it. 2d didn't even know if Murdoc understood how grateful he was for him.

"Don't even worry about it, I'll always be here for you." 2d was still shocked by how much Murdoc cared, no one ever did so much. "Anyway, do you feel well enough to go to school?"

"Huh? Yeah, I'm good."

"You sure?" Murdoc continued being worried.

"Certain."

It was about half way through the school day, and there was one more lesson left until lunch. Murdoc decided to go check up on 2d and make sure that he's alright.

The silent corridor was slowly filled with the chatter of kids going from one lesson to another. Murdoc waited outside 2d's class. Kids started walking out, doing their best to not make eye contact with Murdoc. However, one particular group of kids didn't flee. They stood a few meters away from Murdoc, trying to decide if approaching him was a good idea. Murdoc noticed this and turned to them, making all of them simultaneous flinch.

"What?" He asked sternly, yet not angry yet. The group exchanged worried glances and the bravest one stepped forward. The little boy in glasses gulped.

"U-Ummm..." his voice was small. "A-Are you waiting for 2d..?"

"Yeah." Murdoc replied nonchalantly, glancing at the door before turning to the shorter boy again. "What about it, midget?" The boy seemed terrified.

"Well... 2d fainted in lesson and was taken to the medical room..." Neither of them spoke for the next few seconds. The boy felt like he was having a near death experience.

"Thanks." Murdoc turned around and started walking towards the medical room. The little boy nearly fainted himself.

As Murdoc walked everyone moved out of his way. His posture was strong and tall, his eyes were fixed on only what was in front of him and he was chewing gum. He was pissed. Pissed that he couldn't be there for 2d and was only hearing about this now.

It didn't take him long to get to the nurse's office. She was sitting at her desk in a nice pink dress, with her huge round glasses and her messy brown hair pulled back into a bun.

"Well, well, well." She smiled as she turned to look at Murdoc, she seemed to be the only person in school not afraid of him. Across from her, on a bed, lay 2d, now awake. "Who do we have here?" Murdoc immediately walked up to him and sat down on the bed beside him. "I haven't seen you two in a while."

"What happened?" Murdoc run his hand through 2d's hair, ignoring the nurse.

"I just fainted..." Murdoc sighed. 2d seemed out of it.

"I used to see you two a lot, whenever you beat up poor 2d and then came here to drag him off somewhere again. It's a nice change."

"What?" Murdoc turned to her. So did 2d.

"To see that you care for him now."

"I-" Murdoc tried to contradict her, but couldn't. Her lips curled into a sick smile.

"That's so sweet~" Murdoc glared at her. "2d here told me that you're friends now, is that right?"

"Yeah, so what?" Murdoc wasn't in the best of moods right now.

"Oh nothing, nothing." She brushed it off. "It's just that, are you sure this isn't anything more than a friendship?" She wriggled her eyebrows.

I'M WORKING ON IT! Murdoc wanted to yell.

"Just friends." He bitterly stated. 2d took his hand and grabbed Murdoc's hand which was still in his hair. Murdoc looked at him and they made eye contact. "You ok?"

"Yeah..." 2d replied weakly.

"2d's got a high fever and needs to go home." The nurse cut in. "Do you want me to call your mom?" She addressed the bluenette.

"No... I can go home with Murdoc." He smiled lightly and sat up. Murdoc took his hand away and looked at him.

"2d, you do realise that I'm not going to allow you to drive with such a big fever right?" The bluenette's eyes widened as he slowly turned his head to look at Murdoc.

"Wh-What...?" His heart sped up in fear. "N-No..!" He suddenly shot up.

"2d..." Murdoc rolled his eyes, he knew he was about to go through a mess.

"No!" 2d stumbled out of the nurses office. He tried escaping as quickly as he could, using the wall as support. He couldn't really keep his balance.

"Ugh." Murdoc sighed as he stood up. He picked up 2d's bag and walked up to the door.

"It's nice to see that you've got each other." The nurse spoke up again. "Don't ruin this."

"I won't." And then he walked out. The nurse sighed. They look cute together.

Quick warning: I know the plot, and I roughly know when it ends, but I'm not sure I'll be able to warn you, it's kinda one big mess. But don't worry! We still have a lot of time! (I can't believe this is taking so long- this is my longest fic!)
