Yui's POV:
"Mmm...my head...."

I groaned as I rubbed my eyes, I blinked my eyes in bewilderment when I find myself in an elegant pink room with a gorgeous chandelier and a large window with light pink curtains.

***Yui's room^***

"How did I-"

"You're awake."

I then turned to see the auburn haired introvert with pale brown eyes leaning against the wall. I stood there with a surprised look as I asked Soren.

"How long was I asleep?"

I asked curiously as Soren smiled warmly at me.

"For a few hours."

He replied with a gentle smile. Soren is the quiet one in the mansion. Plus I find his introverted personality intriguing to me. Was it his mysterious vibe that caught my attention or was it his timid smile that I'm fond of. Well I guess Soren is the easiest person to trust due to his kind nature underneath that introverted exterior that he has.

However I noticed his facial expressions changes when I already knew he's reading my mind. Great.

Soren then chuckled softly with a small grin.

"You can't control your thoughts."

He stated with a smile as I blinked twice before smiling back at him.

"Hehe yeah..."

I giggled softly.

"Are you feeling okay now?"

"Mhm I am, where are the others?"

I asked curiously.

"They're making dinner right now and Christoph told me to check up on you. Plus he wants me to give this to you."

Soren then gave me a red pill as I look up to up with a puzzled look.

"A medicine pill?"

I asked curiously as Soren giggled softly.

"You can call it that, but it helps your blood to be stabilized in your body."

He explained as I glanced at the bite mark when I noticed a white bandage on my neck where it stops the bleeding.

"Hehe guess I was out for awhile huh?"

I giggled a bit as Soren chuckled softly at me. Just as I got up from my bed, Soren grinned at me and offered me his hand.

"Ready?"

"Yeah."

While we walked downstairs to the entrance hall, I asked him about his mind reading abilities and he doesn't seem to mind talking about it. Which is great for Soren, but I just want to test them just to make sure their being honest.

"So how did you get those mind reading powers Soren?"

I asked curiously while walking with Soren.

"I can read minds for a living, it's an ability that I was born with."

He replied calmly as I lightly nodded understandably with an intriguing grin.

Hmmm interesting...but I need to go deeper just to test him.

I thought until I heard Soren chuckling softly at me.

"You know, I'm fine if you don't trust me. You don't have to force yourself."

He assured me as I widen my eyes when he saw right through me, but I slightly smirked at his great perspective of me.

"You're quite perspective for a Pureblooded vampire."

I remarked with a slight smirk as Soren chuckled in response.

"You're planning to test me and my brothers to see if we're faking this are you?"

He asked curiously with a smile as I raised my brow with a slight smirk.

"And what if I am?"

I asked curiously with a daring smirk as he smirks back and chuckled.

"Then I wish you good luck."

He replied with a grin as we stop at the entrance hall.

"I'm going to help Shay with his things, Roy will call you for dinner okay?"

"Sure."

As Soren left me in the entrance hall, I stood there with a slight smile.

Huh maybe I underestimated Soren after all. Oh well, guess I'll let him off the hook, but who's next?

I thought as I stood there humming curiously until I saw the purple haired boy walking by who grinned at me when he saw me.

"Hm? Oh hi Yui, are you feeling good?"

Okay Yui, time to test the adorable purple haired sweetheart himself.

I gave Kasper a warm smile and replied.

"I'm okay now, thank you Kasper."

"Mhm no problem, what are you doing here anyway?"

He asked curiously with a cute smile.

"Oh you know, I just need to ask you something. If you promise someone to protect them from harm, would you do it?"

I asked curiously as I test his honesty. Kasper grinned brightly and nod in response.

"You betcha, even though they don't trust us at first, I absolutely believe that they're going to get use to this place."

He cheerfully replied as I raised my brow skeptically at him. However it's time to make this harder.

"What happens if they won't get use to it?"

I asked curiously with my arms crossed as Kasper grinned warmly at me.

"Even though they're not use to surroundings, then I'll give them the time to get use to us. Besides, I'm not going to force them to trust us, that would be douchey of us."

He replied nonchalantly as I chuckled at his whimsical answer.

"Well you're doing a good job there."

"So you don't trust us?"

He asked curiously as I sighed when I remember my hellish days in the Sakamaki mansion and nod.

"Unfortunately."

I sadly replied as he tilts his head with adorable lavender eyes until something popped up from his head as he formed a huge smile and slams his fist into his hand.

"Oh I got it something that might cheer you up and I'm not forcing you to trust me. Just watch me okay?"

He persuaded me which I tilt my head confusingly yet skeptically at him. Just what is he planning?

"I guess I'll watch...."

I awkwardly stated as I watched him carefully, Kasper clasped his hands together and rub it roughly.

"Okay, here it goes!"

He cheerfully stayed as I became curiously of what he's going to do where he holds his hands together with his eyes closed.

"Wait for it, wait for it...."

Is he trying to do a magic trick?

I thought until I widen my eyes when a purple aura emits from his hands as Kasper let's go of his hands with a small purple proof.

"*coughs* *coughs* Wha?"

I coughed from the purple smoke until I widen my eyes when I saw something small and adorable, but creepy from Kasper's hands.

**This is the rabbit that Kasper summons^**

"Tadah! Isn't he cute or what?"

"U-Umm...why is the rabbit holding a knife?..."

I asked curiously while weirded out by the strange looking bunny.

"Huh?"

As Kasper looks down at the bunny he summons, he became instantly pale and flinched.

"Aah! What did I just summoned?!"

He shouted as he drops the creepy looking bunny to the ground and scattered away from it with a feared look on his face.

"Holy cow! T-That's not my intention! I just want to do something fun that will cheer you up, but I think it got backfired...."

He stated as he shivers fearfully from the creepy looking bunny.

"Ugh my god! That looks like it came straight from a horror movie...."

He stutters as he quivers in fear from the bunny he just summoned. I stare down at the small creature who is chopping the wooden floor with its knife. However I wasn't too scared despite being weirded out by it. I grabbed the bunny gently and smiled warmly at him.

"It's okay Kasper, I'll keep it."

"Huh?! A-Are you sure about that? It looks so creepy."

He shivered in fear but I assured him with a sweet smile.

"Don't worry about it Kasper, I'm fine with this creature you summoned. Besides, you did a really good job at cheering me up."

I grinned at him as he grinned back and stand up from the ground with a light chuckle.

"Hehehe I'm glad I made you smile again, anyway I gotta go set the table for dinner. See you at dinner time okay?"

"Sure."

Right after Kasper left, I went back to my room to put the small bunny into its cage. Then I walked back downstairs where I decided to go to the dining room until I saw Shay with Soren.

"Oh hey Yui."

The raven haired musician greeted me with a calm but mild-mannered tone.

"Hi Shay, hi Soren, did you guys just finished working?"

I asked curiously as Shay lightly nodded in response.

"That's good to hear!"

I grinned at them.

"What are you doing upstairs Yui?"

Soren asked curiously.

"Oh Kasper gave me a bunny, so I went back upstairs to put it in its cage."

I replied with a grin as it dawns Shay before he reverts back to his easygoing demeanor.

"That must be one of Kasper's tricks."

Shay assumed as I nod in response.

"Yep."

Just now, Soren asked me something unexpected.

"Yui are you about to test Shay whether he's being honest or not?"

"Wha- Oh."

I mentally face palm when I fucking forgot that he can read my mind. However Shay chuckled softly and patted my head gently with a warm smile.

"It's okay, I'm not going to to hurt you. I promise."

He kindly assures me as I felt enthralled by his down-to-earth vibe from Shay where I smiled and nod at him.

"Okay then, thank you for reminding me Shay."

"Mhm."

We then went back downstairs to meet with the others in the dining room. Once I got to the dining room, we saw Aaron slouching on the couch looking pretty bored until he noticed me.

"Oh sugar plum's up."

He bluntly stated as I lightly twitched at his snarky nickname that he called me.

"I have a name you know."

I stated with an irked tone which Aaron formed a slight playful smirk at me.

"Okay then short cake."

He playfully remarked with a teasing smirk as I frown slightly at him and raised my brow.

"Knock it off Aaron."

Shay assures him with a disapproval frown.

"Relax Shay, I'm just messing with her."

"Oh ya think? Do you always talk to girls like that every time you see them?"

I asked curiously with a raised eyebrow as Aaron shrugged his shoulders in response.

"Eh maybe, but it's fun to tease you."

He stated with a sly smirk as I sighed at him and look back at him.

"Do you even care for me?"

I asked skeptically while crossing my arms at him as I test his honesty and loyalty. However he sighs in response.

"Listen, it's our job to protect from the Sakamakis and even though my brothers can be a pain in the ass at times, I will do everything I can to make sure everybody is safe especially you."

He honestly replied as I became quite surprised with his response. I expect him to be like Ayato since it's obvious he's the bad boy of the Sinclair Family, but I guess I was wrong about him.

Heh I guess Aaron has a heart despite his gruff attitude.

I then chuckled softly at him while noticing Soren is reading my mind right now, but he didn't say anything. Aaron on the other hand looks puzzled.

"What's so funny?"

He asked curiously as I shook my head in response with a grin.

"Nothing."

I replied with a soft grin when I find Aaron a tough rebel with a golden heart. Just then Lance came into the dining room to see us.

"Wow Aaron, trying to woo princess in the time like this?"

The redheaded playboy teased with Shay and Soren giggling at his playful remark, but Aaron rolled his eyes in response.

"As if, we were just talking that's all."

He bluntly stated as I rolled my eyes at him with a slight grin. Lance then turned to me with a kind grin.

"I hope you're feeling better now, that bite mark really got you really bad."

"No, I'm fine now, but thanks for worrying about me Lance."

I thanked him with a grin as Lance chuckled softly at me.

"Oh please, anything for our lovely princess."

He flirtatiously replied as I slightly tilt my head with a smirk.

"Is that how you call girls when you see them?"

I asked curiously where I want to test him. Much like how I see from Aaron, Lance is the typical flirt of the Sinclair family. However he's got that sweet gentleman vibe that he has unlike Laito who is a way worst than the rest of them.

Lance formed a playful smirk where he definitely knows what I'm talking about.

"Is that a problem?"

He asked playfully as I tilt my head acting all innocent but playing hard-to-get.

"I'm not saying it's a problem, I'm just curious. However you are quite the charmer Lance."

I stated him as he chuckled at my compliment.

"Yes, I am known for that."

He kindly stated.

"If you mean by charmer, do you mean a total dumbass?"

Aaron bluntly remarked as Shay and Soren chuckled at his snarky remark, but me and Lance ignore their snickering and kept on talking.

"As long as I'm flattered by your compliments, you don't have to keep talking to me like that."

I assured him but Lance grinned innocently at me.

"Like what?"

He batted his eyelids as if he has no idea what I'm talking about, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Well, like you're trying to get into my pants half of the time."

"Oh I can assure you, I'm just lover of beautiful women."

He calmly assured me as Aaron and his brothers rolled his eyes at his statement, but I felt something different from him.

"Hmmm I don't know about that, cuz something tells me that there's more to it than that."

For that moment he looked away, losing a bit of his smile. Which surprises me to see his reaction. I didn't expect him to be uneasy. I thought he was going to be a conceited playboy like Laito, but I guess I underestimate him.

Before I could question it, he turned back to me with a new teasing smile.

"Do you want there to be more?"

He asked playfully as I have nothing to say but to blush at his teasing words. He then chuckled at me.

"Hehe sorry, you're just so cute when you're blushing."

I then felt my face heat up simply from his words while the three brothers kept quiet about it as they kept watching us. I then felt Lance took my hand and kiss it gently.

"I hope you enjoy dinner, however, my dear."

I drew my attention back to the dishes when Roy and Kasper put the plate of foods on the dinner table. I was both intrigued and slightly scared by the amount of food they made.

"Holy cow! That's a lot of food!"

I gasped as Lance chuckled at my reaction. He leaned forward and proudly smiled, gesturing to all of the dishes with a dramatic sweep of his arm.

"Isn't it? I made almost the dishes myself!"

He proudly proclaims as Aaron, Shay, and Soren sweatdropped at his statement. Humorously however, Kasper looked at him with a shocked expression as if he was betrayed. His face changed instantly to that of a frown.

"And I'm the queen of the nile!"

Kasper sarcastically remarked with a frown.

"Oh boy."

Shay sighed while watching them banter.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Lance asked curiously.

"Me, you, and Roy did the work together dummy!"

Kasper scold at him as Roy came to us and joined the conversation.

"It's 'you, Roy, and I,' Kasper."

He pronounced as Lance chuckled at Kasper.

"Little boys will always make mistakes."

Kasper looked at Roy in disbelief, probably for siding with Lance, and he annoyedly swiveled back to Lance to confront him.

"I'm not a little boy! I'm the same age as you and Aaron!"

He swiveled at Lance.

"Well you certainly don't act like one."

Lance bantered back as they exchanged frowns, but Roy cleared his throat to stop the bickering.

"Ahem we're about to eat dinner right now and Christoph will be out in the minute."

Roy assures them.

"Hehe calm down Roy, I'm here now."

Christoph chuckled as he appears in the room with a warm smile.

"Now let's eat shall we?"

He insisted us as we all nod and joined the feast. While eating dinner together, I couldn't help, but smiled at the brothers getting along pretty well especially Christoph. He's such a caring and wonderful man for the brothers.

I chow down my meal and sighed in bliss from the creamy and savory taste from the chicken Alfredo pasta.

"Mmm this taste delicious!"

"Hehe I'm glad you enjoyed it Miss Komori."

Roy chuckled with a warm smile as I smiled back at him.

"I'll say, you guys know how to treat your guests right!"

I stated with a huge grin as Roy chuckled in response.

"We always treat our guests with great hospitality and care for those who are needed."

He politely explained as I smiled and acknowledged their generous ways.

"You guys are such great people, it's like I'm in a part of a family now."

"Hehe that's how we run in the Sinclair mansion."

Roy chuckled as I smiled warmly at him.

"Miss Komori I have to ask, why did you live with the Sakamakis?"

He asked curiously as I felt shivers going down from my spine when I remembered my first day of living with the Sakamaki brothers. However I decided to told him anyway.

"My father is a priest and...he's going on a trip out of Japan. I don't know why, but he just sends me there and.....that's when everything changes when I met them....."

I gripped my arms tight reliving the horrible memories from my hellish days with the Sakamakis where they would used me as a tool and treat me poorly like I'm trash to them.

Roy understands my pain and gently pats my shoulder.

"My condolences Miss, I can tell how much pain you're going through."

He empathically acknowledged as I smiled at his generous and kind nature.

"Thank you Roy."

I thanked him with a grin as he smiles back.

"Anything for our guests Miss Komori."

He politely stated. Just then a slab of spaghetti splat on his face when he glanced at Aaron and Kasper with obvious annoyance.

"Let go of the goddamn plate Kasper!"

Aaron shouted while pulling the plate away from Kasper but he refuses to hold back.

"No way! I grabbed it first!"

He argued back as both men are fighting over a plate of spaghetti, Roy twitches his left eyelid in annoyance.

"Really you two?! You're both acting like pigs!"

Roy scolded at them with Lance and Christoph chuckling at Aaron and Kasper's antics.

"Relax Roy, let them have their little freedom. It's not like we've eaten recently either. I'm sure their starving."

Lance nonchalantly assures him.

"Still, that's no excuse for stuffing their faces like backyard swine."

I almost couldn't hold it in, but I didn't and I let out a loud laugh.

"Hahahahahahaha!!!!"

Everyone looked at me especially where I couldn't hold in my laughter anymore. As I laughed, Aaron and Kasper looked my way with faces stuffed.

"Is something funny?"

Kasper asked curiously with his face stuffed with food.

"What are you laughing at?"

Aaron asked with his face stuffed with food as I stopped to catch my breath. I leaned over the table and took a few breaths before replying.

"You guys are so funny!"

Both of their faces turned a slight pink blush before they looked away from me and swallowed the food in their mouths.

"S-Shut up! We're not funny! We're hungry!"

Aaron stuttered with a light blush.

"W-Well, we're glad to make you laugh."

Kasper stated.

"Shut up Kasper!"

Aaron shout at Kasper.

"What?! I'm just saying!"

He shouted back at him as Shay and Soren giggled at their antics.

"You guys are so loud for a funny duo."

Shay compliment them.

"Mhm."

Soren nods with Shay with a grin.

"Hahaha this dinner time never gets old!"

Christoph chuckles as I stood there to see how happy and kind these people are, I couldn't help but smile warmly at the heartwarming scene.

You know what? I'm glad to be out of the Sakamakis. Cuz I'm not going anywhere!
