Silver growled up at the earth dragon and narrowed her eyes. He wanted to kill her. It was a shock, for she had never been in a fight that would mean death should she fail. It was always to avoid capture, or other things. Never death. It unnerved her, and made her wonder whether this was just a personal vendetta or D.E.D's orders. Either way it didn't matter.

"Then come and get it!" she roared in reply to his comment.

She opened her wings, letting the light catch her shell, before leaping upwards with a powerful sweep. She was already in her full metal form, and she knew that he wouldn't be able to damage her; even with all his new enhancements he shouldn't be strong enough to do anything. She had grown in power since last time they had fought, and she had beaten him even then.

"Oh, I will," Tetrad laughed.

Suddenly he moved, far faster then what should have been possible for a dragon his size. He twisted around, swinging his large mace like tail toward her. Gears in his wings spun, making a droning sound with each flap of his wings, and the metal on his tail worked as well, adding extra power and speed into the attack. For Silver, she didn't even have the time to dodge. A massive metallic clang rang through the farm. The force behind the hit was far greater then the dragoness had ever experienced before. Her armour rattled and dinted under the attack and the air was knocked out of her lungs causing her to gasp, and then she was moving backwards. The hit blasted her toward the ground, and she was too stunned to try and open her wings to stop herself.

Suddenly everything went black, cold and for a moment she couldn't breath. Then, colour, air and warmth came back, but she was far higher in the air, and flying horizontally. She grunted as she opened her wings and flapped, struggling to stop herself. She hissed slightly as a sharp pain echoed through her side where she had been hit. There was probably a broken rib or so present after that hit. Once she had stopped she turned to see Retrix hovering next to her.

"You alright?" he asked a little worried.

"Yeah," she coughed, "Don't get hit. I think I broke a rib."

The void dragon growled and looked down towards Tetrad with narrowed eyes. Opening his maw he gathered his void energy and launched a beam toward the enemy. Tetrad instantly turned with a growl and held up one of his wings, earth quickly running over it and creating a barrier that void energy couldn't piece. The purple beam slammed into him, and just dissipated, not doing any real damage.

"A new dragon hey?" Tetrad grinned, "What an interesting twist in circumstances. A common earth dragon, fighting the two rarest species in the world."

"Don't forget about me!" cried Zepos, speeding forward from the ground with electricity sparking from his body.

The lightning drake slammed into Tetrad, causing him to stumble slightly in the air. Zepos then flipped away and out of range before he could get attacked, a lightning bolt striking out from his maw and slamming into the earth dragon. Tetrad roared out in pain and fury as electricity surged through him. He flapped backwards and closed his eyes with a snarl. Zepos closed his maw, cutting of the electricity and hovered, waiting.

Yellow lightning continued to surge through the earth dragon, attaching itself to the elronium around his body and sparking out from him. A smile spread across his maw and he opened his eyes, the red one whirling and focusing in on Zepos.

"Watch closely Silver!" he called out, "You are the one that gave me this power!"

He opened his maw and the elronium metal whirred again. The electricity running through him suddenly surged forward. It flew forward from the metal inside his mouth, striking forward in a rush of energy. Zepos let out a roar as a bolt of his own lightning struck him, causing him to be flung backwards with a roar of pain.

Retrix dove downwards and disappeared into the void once more, appearing right behind the lightning drake and catching him before he fell to the ground. Zepos looked up at him and nodded thanks before flapping his wings and hovering once more, slightly unsteady in the air. He growled at Tetrad who still hadn't moved from his spot.

The earth dragon laughed as he red eye focused on Retrix, "A teleporting dragon. This is going to be interesting. Just what species are you young one?"

Retrix snarled, "I'm a void dragon."

"Void ha? I have no quarrel with you. My only focus is on the dragoness," Tetrad said, not even looking toward Silver who was still in the air above him.

"Well if you going to get to her you'll have to go through us," replied the purple dragon.

Tetrad sighed, shaking his head as if disappointed, "So be it. But, since it is three against one, that mind dragon of yours being rather useless against me, I guess it's time to even the scores."

He glanced to the left, and the two drakes followed his gaze, to see four other dragons flying toward them followed by a convoy of black armoured trucks with mounted machine guns on top. They stopped down the road and squads of heavily armed soldiers came pouring out, forming up and rushing over to where the fight was taking place. Zepos growled and glanced back at Tetrad, who had a wide grin.

"Merene!" Retrix yelled to the mind dragoness, who was still on the ground, "Can you keep them at bay while we take care of this earth dragon?"

'Will do Retrix,' she replied mentally, turning toward the soldiers.

He nodded to her before turning back to his current enemy. Without waiting another moment he flapped forward, disappearing into the void and reappearing right underneath Tetrad. The purple energy that he usually breathed swirled around him, gathering onto his wing as he hammered upwards, right into the earth dragon's stomach.

The green dragon roared in pain and anger, flapping his wings heavily and striking downward at Retrix, only to have the void drake disappear once again, retreating and reappearing at a further distance, before unleashing a beam of purple energy from his maw. Tetrad twisted in a surprisingly tight angle, narrowly avoiding the attack, before launching an earth missile toward Retrix. The void drake spread his wings wide and space ripped open in front of him, the earth missile passing into the void without doing any harm.

Before Tetrad had any chance to try and attack again, Silver re-joined the fight. She slammed into his back, and sunk a hook from her wing into his back, finding a space in between his armoured hide. He roared out in pain as Silver began to rip out his scales with her claws and wings. He flipped in the air, managing to dislodge her from his back, but leaving his stomach open. Zepos took the opening as advantage, and with electricity surging forward to aid the attack he collided with the earth dragon, driving him down and into the ground.

Tetrad grunted as he slowly rolled to his feet and shook himself, dislodging pieces of rubble from his back. He snarled, glancing back to the D.E.D army that was supposed to be helping him, only to find them all attacking each other. His eyes narrowed and he glanced at Merene, who was standing and seeming to be watching them with a small smile.

"Stupid mind dragon," he growled in annoyance and opened his maw, firing an earth missile at her.

"Merene look out!" roared Silver in horror, but it was too late.

The other dragoness turned to look at them, and her eyes widened. The missile collided with her, throwing her backwards. Her form flickered, before she landed on her back and rolled a couple of metres. Silver held her breath, but Merene didn't move to get back up, though her tail twitched slightly. The illusions that she had cast on D.E.D disappeared and the humans were freed. It took them a moment to recover but once they did they immediately attacked the dragons above them.

Silver growled, and winced slightly as bullets sparked off her armour, not doing any damage. The two drakes however had a far harder time. Zepos roared out as he was hit in the wing. Using his electricity he dodged to the side, trying to avoid as many of the projectiles as possible, but it wasn't possible and was hit multiple more times. Retrix snarled and created another portal into the void, disappearing through it and appearing once more behind the army. He opened his maw and unleashed his power onto them, killing and maiming a number of them. Before switching his position again.

One of the other dragons, wind, flew straight at Silver. She growled at it and flapped her wings forward, charging as well. A massive draft of air passed by her, slowing her down but her armour shielded her against any damage. The two of them collided. Their wings battering each other and the wind dragon screech as something snapped. It plummeted from the sky but before Silver could follow something massive crashed into her. She grunted at the force and tried to fight against it, but found herself unable to.

"I'm going to kill you!" snarled Tetrad as he threw her into the sky, followed by a bolder of earth.

Silver cried out as the missile slammed into her, knocking the wind out of her once again. Thankfully it wasn't quite as strong as Tetrad's tail, but it still winded her, leaving her gasping for air. She flapped her wings, and breathed a stream of metal at her attacker. He flapped his wings with a surprising amount of strength, dodging out of the way. Silver began to move, trying to keep out of range of his tail. She growled in annoyance and flung a number of tail spikes in his direction, which he simply blasted out of the air with a missile of his own.

"Retreating are we!" roared the earth dragon, "Not so strong without your friends to help you!?"

She snarled and turned to stop in the air again. This time she opened her maw and formed a storm of smaller spikes, bullets almost, that pieced through his scales and wedged themselves into his elronium parts. He roared out in pain, but didn't stop flying toward her. Blood dripped from his wounds, but he ignored them. Narrowing her eyes Silver formed her tail into a whip and once he was close enough swung it around, curling it around his foreleg, before pulling herself into a dive.

This time he truly roared out his pain as the sharp bladed whip dug into the scales of his leg. He flapped his wings and pulled upwards, and Silver was yanked to a stop. She snarled and flapped her wings again, trying to draw him back to the ground, but he was far stronger then her and she couldn't do more then budge him. A strange sound caused her to glance up once more and her eyes widened as Tetrad swung his paw at her whip like tail. His claws looked like something that reminded her of a chainsaw, and sparks flew as he hit her tail. It took a moment or so, but eventually the claws cut through the whip, shearing it off. Silver growled in surprise as she was suddenly free, falling a couple more metres before catching herself with her wings again. Her tail returned to its normal length and she glared at Tetrad. His enhancements certainly made him a fair bit stronger then before.

Another volley of bullets ricocheted off the back of her shell, causing her to growl in annoyance. Tetrad closed his wings and pulled himself into a dive, flying toward the silver dragon once more. Right before he hit her however he pulled himself to a stop, bringing up his wing and blocking a purple beam of energy suddenly aimed at him from the right. Silver took advantage of his momentary lapse and shot him again with bullets from her maw.

He roared out in pain and fired another boulder in her direction. Silver dodged to the side and watched as it flew down to the ground. Tetrad powered forward, flying at the cause of his sudden stop with anger in his movements. The void dragon waited where he had been hovering, watching him with calculated eyes. Just before the two collided Retrix spread his wings wide, ripping open space once more, right in front of the earth dragon. Tetrad snarled and with a surprisingly amount of agility thrust himself upwards, narrowly avoiding flying through the portal, twisted in midair and brought his tail down on Retrix. The purple dragon cried out as the tail hit a glancing blow along his right side, cracking his shoulder and wing. He fell from the air and landed on the ground, unmoving.

"Retrix!" cried Silver as she watched the drake fall.

Tetrad turned his view toward her with narrowed eyes, "You're next."

With a sudden raging roar Silver pushed herself forward, her shell expanding even more to create larger and more dangerous wings along with razor sharp spikes along her back and tail. She opened her maw and shot an elronium ball at the earth dragon, who blocked it with ease. He snarled and as she came close swung his tail at her again. He caught her back and the silver dragon found herself winded and damaged as she was launched into the ground. She grunted in pain and unconsciousness called to her again.

"No," she snarled, shaking it off and struggling to get up off the ground.

Tetrad landed on her before she had the chance however, gripping her chest with his claws and slamming her back into the ground. She grunted in pain as her broken rib suddenly made itself known again. She stabbed upwards with her tail, forming a blade, plunging it into the earth dragon's stomach. He growled and flung her with his foreleg. She landed a couple of metres away with a hiss and struggled to get up once again. Tetrad didn't give her the chance and leapt toward her, bringing his tail down on her back as hard as he could.

Silver screamed. Pain laced through her back as she was slammed into the ground, her spine snapping in half. Tetrad laughed and took a step back. The only sound she was able to make was a soft moan. She couldn't move. No part of her body responded, not even her wings. Everything was numb, and lights were flashing before her eyes.

"You are mine," growled Tetrad as he placed his talons on her back.

There was a whirring sound, followed be a screech as the earth dragon forced his chainsaw like claws into her back. Her armour held, fighting back furiously against it and struggling to hold, but it was all futile. The elronium saw was made out of the same metal, and even if it wasn't as strong, it would break through her armour eventually.

Another scream erupted from Silver as the tip of Tetrad's claw broke through, searing into the soft scales underneath. Blood and tissue flew out of the whole that he created and the earth dragon laughed. He finally had her, there would be no escape for the silver dragon now.

"Silver!" came an angry cry as Zepos thudded into the earth dragon with as much force as he could muster.

Tetrad snarled, stumbling away and bighting at the lightning dragon. Zepos dodged out of the way and was about to attack again when he was thrown from the air by a blast of water from another dragon he had been fighting. He grunted and crashed into the ground and rolled for a couple of metres. With a snarl he tried to force himself to his feet only to have another stream of water slam into him.

Tetrad watched, before he was satisfied that Zepos wouldn't bother him again. Walking over to Silver he turned her over on her back, causing her to moan again as the pain from both her broken spine and gauged out scales spun through her again.

"A want you to see me, Silver," said Tetrad, standing above her, "I am going to be the last thing you see before you die."

He raised his tail above her and her eyes widened. She desperately tried to move, but nothing would correspond. She knew all to well that another hit would be the end of her, especially from this angle. There would be no way to guard, her heart and lungs would likely be crushed, even with her armour protecting her from the brunt of the attack.

"Goodbye," the earth dragon chuckled, and swung his tail down.

Time seemed to slow as Silver took in everything around her. Retrix was lying on the ground not twenty metres away, dead or unconscious. Zepos was desperately trying to get to her after having knocked out the water dragon he had been fighting, but even with his speed he wouldn't be fast enough. Merene was slowly getting up, her eyes widening as she saw the impossible situation. A tear found its way to Silver's eye. She didn't want to die, but the pain was to much. A strange silvery light cascaded over the arena and everything blurred, followed by darkness.
