I was practicing my powers, trying to grow a dead tree. Part of good magic is that I can heal stuff, or make stuff come to life. I decided to list my powers, in my mind to see how much more time until Sensei Wu would let me out of my room. So, let's see... I can fly, heal or hurt people, destroy stuff like vengestone and put them back together again, giving my energy to other people or take their energy away, create illusions, play "mind games", control peoples minds, telekineses/magic, and something called Chaos and Order reality warping. Jeez, that's a lot. Oh, and did I mention that I hold the "fabric of the universe." according to Sensei Wu?!? I'm just a kid! I wave my hands, grumbling as the stupid tree wouldn't grow. I growl, then summon more magic to my hands, then firing it at the plant, blasting it into smithereens. I wave my hand again, and all of the dirt and broken shards of clay came back, forming the dead tree once again. I flick my wrist at it, and it came back to life. Yes! I flick my wrist once again, and it died. Welp. I concentrate more and flick my wrist once more, and find that the tree has grown once again. I do that again, and I gleefully run out and show Sensei Wu.

"Sensei, sensei look! I finally mastered it!" I joyfully yell, as I sit down and set the plant down. I flick my wrist and the plant and the plant grows. I flick my wrist once more and it dies again. I return it to it's living state and hand it over to Sensei Wu, who has a big smile on his face. 

"Good, now, up to the training dummies, picture in your mind what you wish to harm upon it, then flick your wrist. Once you're done, please return them back to normal. I happen to like my dummies." Sensei Wu took the plant and walked away, not before setting out a dummy in front of me. I picture a huge gash on it, and I flick my wrist. The dummy immediately sports a giant gash on it, and then I return back with another flick of my wrist. The guys then all run out, clad in new ninja suits. Cool, I look down at my basic ninja suit and shrug. 

"What are you guys doing?" I ask, staring at them. 

"Serpentine trouble at Mego Monster Amusement Park," Zane replied.

"Cool ninja suits," I say and flick my wrist again. The dummy's arm falls off and I smile. "Have a safe trip!" I cheerfully yell as the guys look at me weirdly before diving off the Bounty. I walk in the bridge, noticing Lloyd, who was staring dejectedly at the ground.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask, slinging an arm over him.

"Sensei won't let me go to the amusement park. I want to help." He mutters, and I walk over to Sensei.

"Sensei, can me and Lloyd please go to the amusement park and play there?  I mastered what you wanted me to learn today, can we please go?" I ask, and Sensei Wu answers.

"Very well, I will come with you. But you must fly down there." Sensei Wu walks out of the room, leaving me and Lloyd in the room. We high-five each other and run out of the room. Lloyd goes with Sensei Wu, and I take off from the Bounty. I fly up, and let go, diving down towards the ground, not before using my powers to fly up again and steady myself. I land next Sensei Wu and Lloyd and I and Lloyd link hands and run off towards the rides there. We first go to the roller coaster, despite there being a line. We both got on the ride, and as we slowly climbed up the hill, I gulped. Maybe this was a bad idea.

"What's wrong Kaylee," Lloyd asks, looking at me, as the ride inches up. 

"Well, I am kind of scared. You know I'm not the best with heights." I say and the ride reaches a stop at the top. 

"Why? This is the best part of the ride though!" Lloyd looks ahead happily, as I close my eyes. 

"Well, I'm not overly fond of what follows after this." I eep, and the ride goes down,  defying the rules of gravity. Up, down, side to side and even upside down, we spun around for what felt like forever, until we slowly came to a final stop. I finally open my eyes and we all hop out of the cart. 

"That was fun! You should have seen it." Lloyd said, dragging me across the theme park to the "haunted house" ride. We both got on and prepared for the worst. "Now, this is something worth closing your eyes from! First one to scream has to buy the other person cotton candy!" 

"Ha! Let's see who's the scaredy-cat then!" I laugh and the ride starts. Ghosts, vampires, and other supposedly scary things start popping up, attempting to scare us. Me and Lloyd both look ahead, unamused. 

"This is possibly the worst ride I've ever been on in my entire life," Lloyd said, as the ride rolled to a stop and we both got out, walking towards the middle of the theme park.  

"I know right! We've been in much scarier situations. Not only it was the worst ride, it wasn't scary at all and it was really short. 1 out of 10 stars." I say. "That also means.."

"Yeah, yeah, I know. We both won the bet." Lloyd rolls his eyes playfully as I jokingly hit in the elbow. "So, what do you wanna do next?" He asks. 

"Hmm, let's play some arcade games. That sounds fun." I say while pulling him to the games. We both blew all of the money Sensei Wu gave to Lloyd and both won one prize each. We both switched our prizes, seeing we liked the others better. In the end, we both walked out of the amusement park, Lloyd holding a stuffed dragon, and I holding a stuffed elephant. We both got on the Bounty and set our animals at the foot of our beds, and walked out. Kai was waiting for us, as it was his turn to babysit us. I was a bit salty about it because me and Lloyd didn't need a babysitter. Lloyd was pretty miffed too. We got on Kai's bike and we drove off, driving through the Sea of Sand, and at a speed which I am not proud to say, was probably way over the speed limit. We arrive at a lame kiddie arcade, and Kai pulls over and drops us off.  

"Okay, I know it's my turn to look after you two, but just play a few games and stay put while I look around. I have a feeling the Samurai may show up." Kai hands us each some money. 

"Oh, let us help." Lloyd pleads and I stare at the stupid arcade. Even Buddy's Pizza was better than this, and Buddy's Pizza is the worst! 

"No." Kai pulls his ninja hood over and I stare down at my sneakers. Today's outfit of choice besides the ninja gi was black leggings and a t-shirt. 

"Come on. At least drop us off at a decent arcade." I complain. 

"Sorry, shorties." Kai speeds away, leaving a trail of black smoke behind him. 

"Kai, wait!" Lloyd yells and we both start coughing from the trail of smoke. We were about to walk in the arcade, but not before we heard voices in the alleyway next to the lame arcade. 

"I hear he found it. And everyone is gathering again." Me and Lloyd both peek over the wall and saw a group of snakes 

"Impossible. The Lost City of Ouroborosss doesss not exissst."

"Well, it isssn't lossst anymore. Haha. And I heard there'sss gonna be a fight."

"A fight? Count me in." We both look at the arcade window and see a snake costume.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" I ask Lloyd and he nods. We both go in the arcade and come out wearing snake costumes. 

"Woah, Kaylee you should stay here. I don't think you should go since you're the chosen one." Lloyd stops me with his maracas.

"Uh-no, I'm staying with you. I'm your friend, your best friend. I'm with you until the end of the line! Come on best friend. We got to go find this city of Ouroboros" Lloyd shrugs and I grin, seemingly to have won this fight. We both run to the bus.

"All aboard. Next stop, Ouroborosss." We both hop on but not before being stopped by Scales. We did not get caught that quickly did we?!? 

"Hey, you two, hold it there." Scales points at us. 

"Huh?" Lloyd asks.

"The lassst one in closesss the door." Scales says.

"Uh, sssure thing," Lloyd says, making sure to drag out his s. He closes the door and we walked to the back of the bus and took a seat. We drove for a day and night, and once we arrived, we both nervously step on the spectator platform. We both gasp at the sight of Pythor. 

"I bring you together to the Lost City of Ouroborosss, before the ssstatue of our very own Great Devourer, to ssspeak of unity," Pythor yells, throwing his hands up in the air. 

"Where are the fightsss?" A snake asks.

"Where isss the big ssshow?" Another asks.

"Ssslither Pit! Ssslither Pit! Ssslither Pit! Ssslither Pit!" All of the Serpentine yell and me and Lloyd join in. 

"Argh! You want a ssshow? You want to ssssee a fight? I asssk for your allegiance but you will not give it. Ssso I will take it." Pythor slithers over to the 4 generals. 

"What are you sssaying?" Fangtom asks. 

"I challenge the four tribe Generalsss for their ssstaffsss and their allegiance. At once!" 

"I fought hard for thisss ssstaff and will not give it up easssily." The Venomari general declares, slithering towards Pythor. 

"There'sss no way he can defeat the four of usss at once." The 4 generals and Pythor start battling, and while all 3 of the generals were on top of Pythor, Skales handed him the Sacred Flute. He starts playing and all of the generals start covering their ears. 

"Oh, he's using the Sacred Flute against his own," I whisper to Lloyd, who was nervously looking on. 

"Yeah, I think it was a bad idea to come here." He gulps. 

"Now, saying that is the worst understatement you could ever make," I say. 

"My ears!" The Constrictai general moans. 

"It hurts!" The Venomari general cries. 

"Bow to your master. Bow to your master, Serpentine!" Pythor exclaims as we all bow down. Lloyd somehow loses his maracas bowing and Pythor looks up. We both run in the same direction and are caught by a Hynobrai. 

"Where do you think you're going?" He hisses and our disguises fall off. 

"Lloyd? Kaylee?" Pythor says and we both gulp as we get shoved in a cage. 

"Now we have our bait." Pythor laughs evilly as we both fearfully look at each other. Night slowly drags on as the snakes al file out slowly and come back with armloads of sweets. There was fighting and stuff, but I didn't really pay any mind to it so I slowly fell asleep, curled up in a corner of the cage. 

It was morning when I woke up, to the sound of clanking metal. I stare at the source of sound to find Samurai X, or should I say Nya, being chained and hauled in a cell. I then look over to Lloyd, who was still sleeping. I let him sleep a bit more, but then he woke up, rubbing his eyes. 

"Morning," I say, looking outside for any sign of the ninja. Once I look away to look at Pythor though, a loud bang sounds and a cage falls on the ninja, and they let go of their Golden Weapons. Oh no. that's not good.

"The Ninja!" Lloyd said, looking at the caged ninja.  

"Looks like we've caught the main event." Pythor chuckles as they are tied up and herded toward to middle of the arena.  "You say you wanted a battle, and I give you one. I give you Ninja versus Samurai!" Pythor cries as we look on, while the Samurai gets herded out.

"What? We have to fight the Samurai? But we don't even have our Golden Weapons and he has that hulking thing of armor! It's not fair!" Jay cries out as the chains get taken off the Samurai and the battlefield gets quiet. 

"I want to see once and for all who is the greatest hero. Is it Samurai, or Ninja? Only the victor will be allowed to leave." Pythor declares. The ninja dodge mostly everything that the Samurai throws at them, but without any weapons, they probably didn't stand a chance. 

"Tornado of Creation?" Zane asks, and I mentally facepalm. Of course! They could have done the Tornado of Creation! No biggie! But if done wrong then... well, I don't wanna think about it. 

"Earth!"

"Fire!"

"Ice!"

"Lightning!"

"Ninja, go!" They yell, and anything that wasn't nailed down was sucked into the vortex of creation, creating a slingshot with a spiked ball. Ouch. They fire it, and the Samurai dodges it but falls over. They rush towards the Samurai to end the battle, only to get stopped by spikes. 

"Argh! Why can't anyone play fair?" Jay yells, and then the arena tilts, sending the ninja and samurai down to a pit of some sort. They grab on to the spikes. 

"Can this get any worse?" Cole asks as the arena tilts ever further. They all jump on the Samurai and they fly off, but not before the Samurai jump out of the suit, leaving the ninja to fly off to who-knows-where. 

"Go, Ninja, go!" Lloyd yells as the cage tilts, and we both tumble out of it. 

"Get him!" Pythor yells as we run to the Samurai, freedom in our grasp. 

"Magnetizer activated." The Samurai says and the Golden Weapons fly towards her. Nya looks at us, then at her suit. "I can only take one of you. Who will it be?" Nya asks, still in Samurai mode. We both look at each other.

"You go, I can handle myself here," I say, pushing him toward the suit.

"No, you go. You're the Silver Ninja. My destiny is worth less than yours." Lloyd pushes me. 

"Uh-no, you better get on that stupid suit so the Samurai can take you to safety or I'll force you to," I say, pushing him again. 

"Well, that's not gonna work." Lloyd gives one final push, and I trip over into Nya. She takes off and I look at Lloyd. 

"I'm going to get you back for this Lloyd!" I yell, but then in a quieter tone, I say. "Be safe." I look at him with a horrified expression as Pythor comes up behind him and throws him in the cage. I and Nya fly away, but not until the suit starts malfunctioning and we both tumbling into the sand. 

"Oh joy, and here we thought the suit wouldn't malfunction." I groan, getting up and dusting off the sand on me. 

"Yeah, I guess so," Nya says, and then starts trying to get the voice filter back on. "Testing. Testing? One, two." The voice filter comes back online, but there's static, so Nya takes off the helmet, but a voice behind us makes her put it on again. 

"Nya?" Kai asks, creeping towards us. 

"Steer clear, Ninja! Don't look... at me." Nya takes off her helmet and turns to face Kai. 

"I don't understand. You're the Samurai?" Kai asks. "Kaylee, did you know?" Kai turns to me and I nod. 

"It was always a boy's club. You never let me try to help, so I found my own way to be a hero. Are you mad?" Nya says. 

"Mad? Of course not. It's just, all this time, I've been trying to protect you and you've never needed it. You're amazing." Kai compliments Nya and we both smile. 

"Girl power." Nya and me high-five each other. "You're not gonna tell the others, are you?"

"But we had a bet. We said whoever caught the Samurai would be the Green-" Me and Nya look at him with an are-you-serious look and he restarts his sentence. "Of course, I won't say anything. How'd you make all this stuff?"

"You'd be surprised how much spare time we have waiting for you guys to come back from your missions. You two better head back before anyone gets suspicious. We'll have to rescue Lloyd another day." Nya pushes me lightly toward Kai and I also take the Golden weapons from her hand. 

"Safe travels Nya," I say.

"Nya, whenever I get in trouble, the other three always have my back. But you...just be careful, will you?"

"Promise." The two siblings share an embrace before letting go. 

"But how are you gonna get back?" Kai pulls away first and Nya smirks. 

"I have my ways." She presses a button on her suit and soon the Samurai X suit comes toward us. She hops in and flies off. I give Kai his sword and Jay's nunchucks. We both follow the black trail the Samurai X suit left, and that leads us to where Cole, Jay, and Zane's whereabouts. 

"Kai! Kaylee!" They yell, running towards us. We share an embrace and then let go. Me and Kai hands out the golden weapons to each respectful owner and we drive off to the Bounty. It was nighttime when we got there, so we all got ready for bed. I climbed into my bed, clutching the stuffed elephant that seemed like millennia ago, Lloyd gave to me. I slowly fall asleep, with the hope that Lloyd was safe.
