Kaylee's POV

"Why is it that Torchfire Mountain is the only place we can destroy the Fangblades?" Nya moans, as the ship tossed and turned like a tilt a whirl. But without a control. Unless you count the storm.

"'Cause the Fangblades are made from the original teeth of the Devourer. They're so strong they can only break down in extraordinary heat." Kai explains.

"I thought Zane was the smart one, not you," I comment.

"Hey! I can be smart to!" Kai groans as Nya laughs.

"Uh, could someone pass the salt?" Jay asks, but as I was about to reach for it, the ship moves and it slides to Jay. "Hey, thanks." He smiles. Cole opens the door, green from all of the tossing and turning.

"Please. No one talk about food. How much longer until we get there?" Cole moans.

"Not long. Hey, Cole, you're looking a little green over there. How'd you like a mucus salt sandwich?" Jay asks, and Cole runs away, not before closing the door. "Speaking of green, who would've guessed little Lloyd Garmadon turned out to be the Green Ninja?" Jay asks.

"I know. He was such a brat at first. It's hard to believe he's gonna become one of the greatest ninja that ever lived." Nya says.

"Well, I think, with enough training, he can be the greatest ninja that ever lived!" I reason and everyone shrugs.

"Speaking of Lloyd, where is that little runt?" Kai asks.

"I'm not sure," I say. "I think he said he was going to train, but then again maybe not."

"Well, we probably gotta go get Sensei now, we're nearing our destination," Jay replies.

We part ways, going to get Sensei as we near Torchfire Mountain. When the weather cleared, we stood outside.

"Will everyone please place their seat back and tray table in the full upright and locked position? We have reached our destination: Torchfire Mountain. Give it a minute while we settle into position." Nya's voice sounds from the overhead speakers on the Bounty.

"It's roasting out here." Jay groans.

"Heh. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." Kai smiles.

"Hey, what's with Sensei?" I ask.

"I do not know. He's been distant all morning." Zane replies.

"Ah, it is beautiful, is it not?" Sensei stares at the volcano.

"Sensei, we are ready for the destruction of the Fangblades, yet you seem disinterested." Zane says.

"You do not need my approval to finish the task." Sensei sighs.

"Uh, but Sensei-" Jay cuts in.

"Butts are for sitting. And besides, there will come a time when you will have to go on without me." Sensei scolds.

"Sensei, you're talking crazy. You've been alive for, like, forever. Ugh!" Kai says, earning a slap on the head from me.

"What he is trying to say is you are like the sunrise. We cannot begin a day without you." Zane clears up Kai's poor choice of words.

"Ah, but even the sun must go down so a new day begins." Sensei states.

"I don't like metaphors. What are you trying to say? Are you leaving us again?" Cole asks, worrying.

"In meditation, my smoke visions have come to an end, and tomorrow, I cannot see. This worries me." Sensei admits.

"But it could be a good omen, you know. We destroy the Fangblades, then everything's gravy." Jay happily says.

"Gravy?" I ask.

"Let's just get rid of them, for good." Sensei turns to the four guys, and suddenly the ship topples sideways, sending Sensei into the mouth of the volcano.

"Sensei! Hang on. We're coming."Cole yells jumping out off the Bounty. We follow suit, catching each other's legs. "Unh! You're not going anywhere, old friend."

"Thank you, Cole," Sensei says.

"Argh! Nya, what's going" Kai asks, struggling to hang on the plank since he was hanging by his toes.

"Ah! Someone or something has overridden the system!" Nya cries.

"Pythor's on board!" Lloyd yells.

"Sorry if I don't lend a hand, but I'm really in a rush. Got this whole Devourer thing going on. Toodaloo." Pythor appears on the ship and takes the Fangblades.

"You gotta be kidding me right?" I moan.

"Where do you think you're going?" Lloyd yells.

"He's just like you Kai!" I laugh.

"What! No he's not!" Kai denies.

"Definitely! The bad catchphrases, both worn the green ninja suit!" Jay lists.

"Can we like, not? I'm trying to not make us die!" Kai yells. Pythor then drops down on a Rattlecopter.

"No!" We all yell.

"So long, suckers!" Pythor cries.

"Don't let go!" Jay calls.

"You think I don't know that?" Kai grunts, as the pressure finally gives in, and we all tumble in the volcano.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?" I scream, summoning my powers as a rope to latch on somewhere, but it fails.

"Gotcha!" Nya calls, catching all of us.

"I don't think I've ever been more glad to see you." Jay breathes.

"Feel the same. Come on, he's getting away." Nya flies up to the deck, where we try to find Pythor.

"I'm glad you didn't die." Lloyd smiles.

"I'm glad to." We hug.

"Look, there!" Jay cries.

"If Pythor returns the Fangblades to the City of Ouroboros, he'll awaken the Great Devourer," Sensei says.

"Well, we're not gonna let that happen." Nya declares.

"Oh, what about us?" Lloyd asks.

"Yeah, what about us?"

"We need someone to stay with the Bounty," Kai says.

"But did you see me kick him in the face? I'm an asset. I kick butt. And face." Lloyd eagerly jumps.

"Patience, kid. You're too important now that you're one of the chosen ones." Kai pats our head.

"Patience, hmm? Ah, the student has become the teacher." Sensei smiles.

"Woah! Wait one sec! How did they become the teachers, while I still have to be the student!" I cry.

"Kaylee, your powers are powerful," Sensei explains and I snort. "You must learn more to control your fear and powers." I sigh.

"What do you say we play a little catch-up?" Jay asks.

"It's my favorite game." Cole agrees.

"Ninja, go!" They all yell, jumping off of the Bounty and flying away.

"How do you control this thing?" Lloyd asks, trying to fly the Bounty.

"It's simple! You'll get the hang of it! They're getting away!" I call.

"Red button to fly right?" Lloyd asks.

"Yep!" I call, but then the Bounty starts flying uncontrollably, up, down, left, right, upside-down, twirls, everything. "Do you mind?" I yell, feeling queasy.

"I can't control it well!" Lloyd calls.

"Then control it better!" I yell in a matter-of-fact tone.

"How?" Lloyd asks.

"Hey! The Lost City of Ouroboros!" I point. "Come on! They need us!"

"Wait! I see the ninja and Nya!" Lloyd calls.

"Alright, wait one second, and set down the anchor!" I yell, and we fish up a bus.

"Hook, line, and sinker." Lloyd grins.

"To Ouroboros as fast as you can," Kai commands.

"Aye, aye, captain." I and Lloyd agree.

"Okay, Lloyd. Put us down right after that truck." We set down at a newly crashed bus, no doubt Pythor and Sensei's bus. I jump off and walk towards them quickly.

"Wait up, guys," Lloyd yells.

"Guys come on! There's Sensei!" Jay yells as Pythor screams in the hold of Sensei Wu.

"This is our destiny," Sensei says, as rattling goes up from below us.

"What's going on? Who's that creature underground?" Kai asks.

"You must do everything in your power to stop the Great Devourer. Go, Ninja! Go!" Sensei commands for one, last, final time before being swallowed whole by the Great Devourer.

"No, Sensei." Kai gasps, and we all look on in horror.

That was short and I loved it. Hahaha
