Kaylee's POV

"It's not scary. Um, maybe just a little, but I like scary. Yeah, that's it. I'm the son of the Dark Lord. I love the dark. I eat this stuff for breakfast I'm gonna make those Hypnobrai pay for betraying me. I have to find the Fangpyres. If there's anything a snake doesn't like, it's another snake." Me and Lloyd were trying to find the location of the Fangprye tomb, mostly Lloyd though.

"Do you ramble this much by yourself?" I ask jokingly as Lloyd rushes toward to mutated tree.

"Here, by the mutated tree. I found it! Soon, the Serpentine will know who their master is, and it will be I, Lloyd Garmadon! MUHAHAHA, AHHH!" 

"What is it, Lloyd?" I ask and I run to him, getting a ball of energy in my hand. The Fangpyre general emerges from the tomb. I falter a bit and my energy ball flickers out.

"And who... ....may I sssssssay released ussssss..." One head began speaking.

"...From our captivity?" The second head finished. 

"Uh, Lloyd and Kaylee? I released you to make the Hypnobrai pay for betraying me."

"The Hypnobrai?" Head number 1 spoke.

"Those hypnotizing deceiverssssss." The second head spat.

"It'll be..." 

"...Our pleasure."

"Oh, good. I'll lead the way. Then after that, there's some Ninja I want to deal with." Lloyd spoke, sounding relieved.

"Ssssoundsssss like..." Head number 1 started.

"You know..." Head number 2 continued.

"What you want."

"But the Hypnobrai are strong."

"And we are few in numberssss."

"We need..." 

"Reinforcementssss!"

"What did you have in mind?" Lloyd asks.

"You'll ssssee." The snake said and we started to walk, with a few other snakes. I made friends with one called, Fang-Suei. We talked and made antidotes to their bite for fun and because Fang-Suei and Lloyd were scared I'd accidentally get bit. But why would they ever bit us? They are so nice though! while Lloyd and the general, which I learned to be Fangtom, were discussing battle options and such. We arrived at a familiar place: Ed and Edna's Scrap'n Junk. Jay's parents! 

"Ok, Kaylee. I need you to get me the phone and break it, okay? Bring it back to me. Thanks." Lloyd says I nod meekly and go to get their phone. I grab it and run back behind a junk pile. I quickly break it using my powers and I run back to Lloyd. My shadow caught the attention of Ed.

"Whoever's there, my son knows Spinjitzu!" He yelled, angrily brandishing a broomstick, waving it around. 

"What is it, Ed? Oh, why are the lights out?" Edna walked over Ed, clutching a frying pan.

"Call Jay, hun. Someone's broken in." Ed spoke and that's when Lloyd decided to make his grand entrance.

"How about we wait until he calls you? Muahahaha!" Lloyd yelled, waving the broken phone, mocking them.

"Ed..." Edna spoke, dropping the frying pan.

"Be strong, Edna. I won't let them hurt you."

"If we plan..." 

"...To attack..."

"...The Hypnobrai..."

"...We'll need to grow..."

"...Our army."

"And uh, how do we do that?" Lloyd asked, throwing away the broken phone, eagerly looking up at the generals. I finger the 2 antidotes in my pocket, ready to be made into tea.

"Let's just say..." 

"...We Fangpyre bite off more..."

"...Than we can chew."

"Have at it, boys!" Fangtom number 1 yelled, and all of the Fangpyre jumped up and sunk their teeth in Ed's creations, turning them into vehicles for snakes.

"My creations! They are turning them into—" Ed yelled, mourning the loss of his buildings.

"An army?" Fongtom number 1 tilted his head.

"You are correct." Fangtom number 2 answered.

"But we can also turn people, too" With that ominous note, Snappa and Fangdam dove in, screams lingering in the air.

"Kaylee, can you tie them up and shove them somewhere where they can't be seen? Here's some rope." He threw a bundle of rope. I looked up at Lloyd, nodding then going over to them.

"Come with me," I whispered, leading them towards an old fridge I tied them up lightly and let them step in the fridge, before slipping the antidote in Edna's pocket. "Tell, Nya to brew this into tea, it's the antidote. Also, tell them that I'm sorry." I began my walk back to Lloyd, where I was stopped by Edna beckoning towards me. I forgot to close the fridge door! I walk over them, looking at them. "You called?" I asked.

"Why do you follow him?" She asked me.

"Well, he's my best friend. I feel like I've known him for forever, even though I met him only a few days ago, we would probably give each other's lives to protect each other. At least, I would. I'm not sure about Lloyd. Why do you ask?" I answered, looking up at the sky.

"Ahh, the wonders of young love," Ed exclaimed. "I remember when we were like that." 

"W-w-what?!? We're not in love!" I say, but I could feel the red creeping up my cheeks as I said so.

"That's what they all said, dearie. Now close that door before you get in a lover's quarrel." Edna winked and I carefully shut the door and ran away to Lloyd. 

"What took you so long? I-uh was worried." He spoke, the late-night air whistling around. 

"I was looking at the stars." I can lie easily. Why? I'm not that sure. Just a perk of being an independent child.

"Oh, well-um, we'd better get to sleep then. In the morning the ninja should be here so..." Lloyd nervously spoke.

"Okay then. Where do you think we should crash?" I asked and Lloyd perks up.

"Well, maybe somewhere that we can see the stars." Wow. This boy knows what I like somehow.

"Okay then." He started walking off to a small hill where the skies were clear, he looked around finding I wasn't there.

"On your left," I say and plop down on the sandy hill beside him. 

"The stars seem brighter tonight." 

"Yeah. I've never seen them shine so brightly. It's beautiful." 

"You know, that you could have chosen to go with them. Why did you not." Lloyd turned and looked at me.

"Well, I feel like we've known each other forever, and even if you don't, I would lay down my life for you. It's a thing I have with all of my friends, but it takes me a long time, then again, I guess we may have met before." My eyes close and I yawn. Before I close my eyes to go in the dream world, I could hear Lloyd's voice one last time.

"Me too. I would too Kaylee."

This time I would have a wonderful sleep, with no nightmares.

3rd Person POV

As the ninja walked out to Jay's parent's junkyard, what they didn't know was that they would come to a big surprise.

"What is it?" Nya asked an already tense Jay who immediately set off to find his parents.

"It's quiet. My family's never quiet." They all ran into the Junkyard to find Ed and Edna, tied up loosely. Jay quickly untied them and helped them out. "What happened? Who did this?" 

"Oh, you gotta get out of here. You shouldn't have come, it's the ssssnakes!" Ed spoke as a forked tongue showed up.

"The bite of the Fangpyre! Once they sink their teeth, their venom can turn anything into a serpent. It's only a matter of time before the full transformation is complete." Wu exclaimed and Edna held up two containers.

"Well, it's good that we got the antidote. All we need to do is make it into a drinkable liquid. Also, Kaylee says that she's sorry." The gang started to run out, but no before a creepy looking wrecking ball blocked their way. 

"What does she mean by sorry?" Zane asks.

"Uh, is that wrecking ball staring at me?" Cole asked as it swung forward at them.

"Duck!" Jay yelled as he pulled his mom and dad down. 

"Thankssss, sssson," Ed spoke as a little evil-doer rose up from the crane. 

"Lloyd!" Wu said, but the next figure that came surprised all of them, bar from Ed and Edna. "Kaylee?"

"Hello, uncle. Looks like we're not the only family reunion. I'm glad you brought the Ninja. I could use some help taking out the trash. Muahaha!" Lloyd and Kaylee intertwined hands, making the ninja tense up a bit. (Aren't they amazing overprotective big brothers?) 

"Aww, I knew it! Isn't young love adorable?" Edna spoke and both Lloyd and Kaylee yell: "WE'RE NOT DATING!" and for the people on the ground to yell: "THEY WON'T BE DATING!"

"So that's what she meant by sorry. If we want to turn your parents back, we need to get out of here." Nya first spoke as the wrecking ball swung once more.

"Second dose, to the dirt!" Cole yells as everyone plunges to the ground.

"Easier said than done, sis. We're a bit outnumbered." Kai said while shooting fire at some unsuspecting snakes.

"Nobody messes with my family. Ninja, go!" Jay yelled, and the other Ninja mimicked Jay, all doing Spinjitzu. Sensei Wu played the flute at some Fangprye and Nya, taking advantage of the preoccupied snakes and knocked them down.

"I don't know, Sensei. I think we make a pretty good duet." She commented.

"Young nephew, must I teach you whose side you should be on?" Wu asked Lloyd as he and Kaylee jumped into a crane, pulling up sone rock music, drowning sounds out. 

"Sorry, uncle. Can't hear you!" He mocked as a scared Kaylee tapped his shoulder, "Yeah?" He asked, his voice going soft.

"I'm scared of heights." Kaylee peeped out.

"Don't worry, I won't you let fall. Just hold on tight and don't look down." He spoke and Kaylee smiled at him. A Fangpyre crept up on Sensei bu Edna quickly knocked it down, earing a thanks from the Son of The First Spinjitzu Master.

"Yeah, way to go, Edna!" Ed cheered. A huge robot came up to the exit of the junkyard, making the loud rock music subsides.

"Ah! What is that thing?" Jay yelled as it swung down on them.

"It was supposed to be in your honor, son, but do you like it?" Ed told Jay.

"Thanks, but no thanks."

"Why'd you have to be born in a Junkyard?" Cole complained.

"I know! Tell me about it!" Jay screeched as he threw his hands up in the air in an exasperated manner. As the wrecking ball swung in sync with the robot, Jay hopped on the wrecking ball. 

"Uh, wasn't there four of us?" Kai asked.

"Let's see if I can work this." Jay mused as he hops in the cockpit of the mechanic thing. 

"Retreat!" Lloyd yelled as him, Kaylee and Fangtom go on the Rattlecopter, taking the Destiny's Bounty in tow. 

"He's getting away with the Bounty!" Nya yelled.

"Right now would be a good time to have those Dragons" Jay exclaimed.

"It'ssss okay, sssson." Ed Put a hand on his sons' shoulder. 

"There is still a way," Wu spoke.

"How?" Jay asked.

"Part of reaching your own full potential is understanding your weapon's potential. Once it is in tune with a focused heart, its secrets and powers can be unlocked."

"Oh, this is not the time to be cryptic!"

"He's saying our weapons are vehicles themselves," Zane spoke, hurt over Kaylee's sudden change in sides.

"Don't tell me I have to ride this thing like a broomstick," Kai exclaimed dryly. 

"Jay, concentrate on unlocking your Golden Weapon. Let your heart guide you. Imagine you're taking flight." Wu spoke.

Jay's once golden nunchucks turned into a fighter jet. "Whoa! Haha, did I just do that?" He happily whooped as the ninja's golden weapons quickly turned into vehicles. 

"Ha! I hate to hurt Rocky's feelings, but I think he's just been replaced!" Cole yelled as him and the rest of the ninja took pursuit of the Destiny's Bounty.

"Does your flute turn into anything?" Nya asked.

Wu looked longingly at his flute. "I wish."

As the ninja and Fangpyre fought, they got the Destiny's Bounty back and also got the staff, which made the angry Fangprye chase after them. The gang all got on the small jalopy, which used to catch Jay from his little flight. They soon reached the Bounty and quickly got on. 

"Go! They're getting away!" Lloyd yelled, and the Rattlecopter increased speed. 

"Come with me. Once we reverse the venom, we can fix you." Nya, Ed, and Edna quickly turned to the tea maker, where Nya, holding tightly unto the antidote, making them into drinkable liquids.

"Man the stations, everyone!"

"Jay, we better hurry!" The Rattlecopter was gaining on them quickly.

"I've been waiting for this moment." Jay pressed a button, but nothing happened. He pressed it again but nothing came out. 

"They're gaining on us!" Kai frantically tried to make the Bounty go faster.

"Bottoms, up!" Ed spoke before he and Edna downed the cups of antidote. They started laughing then came back to normal. 

"Ugh, I don't get what's wrong. I spent forever on this. It's supposed to work!" A frustrated Jay yelled out. 

"Uh, son? Maybe I can help?" Ed asked and a now surprised Jay 

"Dad! You're okay!" Jay hugged his father. The two shared an embrace and then let go. 

"You're darn tooting. Oh, let's have a look. Oh, yeah. Uh-huh. Oh, that should do it. Now try it." Ed tinkered around with wires before stepping back and admiring the work he did before Jay pressed a button, and smoke came out of the thrusters, effectively letting the ninja escape. 

"No, no, no, no!" Lloyd yelled.

"These Ninja..." Fangtom 1 started.

"...They must be stopped." Fangtom 2 finished. 

"Oh, tell me about it," Lloyd grumbled as Kaylee shuffled her feet around nervously, shook up from the fight.

This took way longer than I expected. Anyways, try to find the Marvel reference here!!!! I'll be doing this for every chapter! But, to the pressing matters, I need you (yes you) to decide on something IMPORTANT! Should Lloyd and Kaylee (Lloylee or whatever other ship names you think of.) get together in like, season 2 or in season 9? I know big jump, but these are the only two options I could find for making them a couple! YOU DECIDE READERS! Or I'll decide myself once this part of the book is finished. Plus should I make Kaylee's backstory season in between season 2 and 1 or in season 2? Thank you!!!
