Kaylee's POV

"This whole island is swarming with Garmadon's indestructible Stone Army." Kai groans.

"Ha! Good thing we're Ninja and we know how to hide." Jay boasts as we throw more sand and such on the Bounty.

"Who wants to hide when you can fight? I'm getting tired of having our heads buried in the sand. I wanna fight these guys." Cole throws his shovel on the ground.

"But Cole, they have no apparent weakness. It would be unwise to start a fight we cannot finish." Zane reasons.

"That is why we must find the Temple of Light." Sensei appears on the plank we set for the Bounty.

"Where'd he come from?" I mutter under my breath, walking inside the Bounty. We go in the Destiny's Bounty, where Misako explains the scrolls.

"The scrolls say there is a hidden temple on the island. If you find it, it will give the Ninja pure elemental powers, powers that can destroy the indestructible army." Misako explains.

"So you're saying we get to fight? Whoo-hoo! I've got happy feet!" Cole cheers.

"And you, my son, here it is written: 'For once the Green Ninja finds the instrument of peace, he will strike it and know the power of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master."

"Ultimate Spinjitzu Master?" Lloyd asks.

"It means you will be able to invoke the power of the Golden Dragon, an ancient fighting style only practiced by the First Spinjitzu Master," Misako explains. "The Silver Ninja will be able to unlock her own elemental dragon, and create fusion ones with other dragons."

"Cool," I say, popping Goldfish in my mouth.

"Hahaha. Jealous?" Lloyd smirks.

"Uh, wait a minute. This all sounds too good to be true. What's the catch?" Kai asks.

"The catch is, the Temple could be anywhere on the island, and all we have is this." Sensei gives Dr. Julien a medallion with three holes.

"A medallion. It's like a compass. When the three holes match up, the medallion will reveal where the temple is hidden." Dr. Julien exclaims, holding the medallion carefully.

"Uh, how'd you know that?" Jay asks.

"Oh, I did a lot of reading in my spare time. Adventure stories were my favorite." Julien chuckles.

Zane takes the medallion. "Then what are we waiting for?" We all get up.

"Not you, Lloyd." Sensei stops Lloyd.

"Ah, seriously? Are we still doing this?" Lloyd snaps.

"Wu is right. If you were to come across your father, it could prematurely start the Final Battle. We need to be at full strength before we take any risks." Misako explains.

"Hahaha. Jealous?" Jay smirks.

"I'm just glad I can join." I sigh, mourning the loss of my Goldfish.

"That is because I need you to keep them in check," Sensei explains.

"Well, I could use some help around the shop. We should get working on vehicles that might help give us a fighting chance." Julien offers.

"Remember, Garmadon doesn't know we're on the island. It's imperative that you stay out of sight." Sensei commands.

"Of course, Sensei. Don't worry. Have you ever known us to veer from a plan, huh?" Jay offers, but Lloyd, Wu, and Misako looks at us, not amused.

"Honestly, veering from plans is fun. More action." I see Sensei's look. "Ugh, fine!" I throw my arms up in the air.

"Ninja-" We yell.

"Shh! Not so loud. Are you trying to get us caught?" Sensei snaps.

"...Go." We whisper, running out of the Bounty.

~Time Skip Brought To You By Goldfish~

We found Garmadon's camp and were hiding on some rocks, trying to find the Temple of Light.

"Look, this must be Garmadon's camp," Jay says.

"No, you think?" I roll my eyes. "I thought it was a takeout restaurant."

"It looks like he's building something," Kai says, staring at a huge pavilion where Stone Warriors were wheeling up something on wooden ramps.

"Building what?" Jay asks.

"Quiet, you bozos. We still need to find what the medallion matches up to." Cole snaps.

"Let me see." Zane looks through the medallion. "Hmm, nothing matches." He then stops. "Wait."

"You found the Temple of Light?" Jay grabs the medallion.

"No, but look!" Zane points to his Falcon, which was on the table of one of the huts around the camp.

"Your Falcon. I thought it got shot down and was lost for good." Kai says.

"Not if I can retrieve it and get the pieces back to my father," Zane replies.

"Wait, Zane. You're veering from the plan. We're supposed to be finding the Temple of Light and staying out of sight." Cole says.

"If I were any of you, I'd do the same. I have to get my friend back." Zane leaves us. I and Cole stand up to follow him, but Kai stops us.

"The more of us that goes the more chance we'll get caught. We just have to stay here and hope he doesn't get seen." Kai says.

"Aww, I wanna fight." Cole sighs.

"Don't worry, we will fight," I assure him. "Veering from the plan always makes it so."

"I spy, uh...another tree!" Jay yells, laying on the ground. We had been waiting for at least an hour for Zane.

"Jay, how did you ever become a Ninja? Seriously." Cole sighs, fed up with his best friends' actions.

"Ugh, will Zane just get his bird already and get out of there?" Kai snaps, his hot-headedness getting to him.

"Guys, look!" Jay yells as he hands the medallion to Kai

"It matches up. That must be the Temple of Light." Kai gasps.

"Jay, I take back everything I said. You are a fine Ninja. Not finer than me, but a fine-" Cole laughs, but is stopped by sounds of Stone Warriors.

"That's really bad isn't it," I stutter.

"Oh..." Jay sighs.

"That's it, I'm fighting." Cole starts jumping from rock to rock into Garmadon's camp.

"We can't, they're indestructible. If we go in there, they'll know we're here too." Kai says.

"Yeah, and if we don't, we'll regret it for the rest of our lives. Come on, it's Zane." Cole retorts and we follow him. I push and car using my magic, running over the army.

"What are you waiting for, a red carpet?" I snap, pulling Zane with me.

"Remember when Sensei asked to stay out of sight?" Kai says, dodging attacks.

"Yeah, that was good advice," Cole says. We try to climb over the fence but the Army throws spears at us.

"Why didn't we listen to him?" Jay cries.

"Why don't we ever listen to him?" Zane counters.

"Why do we always get ourselves into stupid situations!" I yell.

"Look! The gate!" Kai points to a bridge. We run after him. "The way out." Kai smiles.

"Hurry up. We're halfway there." Cole says, but Stone Warriors block both sides of our entrance.

"Why is fate so cruel to us!" I sigh.

"We've been in situations like this a hundred times. Quick, who's got an idea?" Kai says.

"Uh, we jump into that hole." Jay points to a purplish mud substance below us.

"Next idea." Kai quickly shuts down Jay's idea.

"I say we fight." Cole eagerly says.

"With what? We don't have powers." Kai snaps.

"What about you, Zane? What do your computers say?" I ask.

"I got us into this mess. I know how to get us out." Zane says. The bridge breaks from the weight and we fall to the depths below. "Grab a plank! Ninja, go!" Zane yells. We do so and use Spinjitzu. We use the planks to sled above the trees.

"Woohoo!" I yell, surfing around.

"Yeah!" Jay yells.

"This should be an actual sport!" I laugh.

"We're falling!" Jay yells, as our momentum gives out, sending us to the ground.

"Use your hood as a parachute!" Zane commands as I use my powers to slow down, gracefully floating to the ground.

"Whoo-hoo!" Jay cheers. We start running back to the Bounty.

"Prepare for battle. We've got company." Zane pants, putting the Falcon down on a table.

"You were spotted? By one? Two?" Sensei asks.

"How about...all of them?" I sheepishly say.

"Did you locate the Temple of Light?" Misako asks.

"It's at the top of the mountain. I hope those vehicles are ready because we could sure use them now." Kai answers.

"Guess you're gonna have to figure this baby out on the fly." Julien points to a new vehicle.

"We've also packed another surprise in the back. Perhaps it can be of use." Nya kisses Jay. I raise my eyebrows at her, and she blushes.

"Another Nya surprise?" Jay excitedly ask.

"You'll have to go too. Be safe." Misako says.

"We will." Lloyd smiles. We climb in the vehicle.

"Whatever you do, do not stop until you get to the Temple of Light. Our survival depends on it." Sensei commands.

"This time, we'll stick to the plan," I assure him.

"Good luck, Ninja." Sensei nods. We drive off immediately being met by Stone Warriors.

"You do know how to steer this thing, don't you?" Jay yells.

"By the way, this is going, no," I say, a bit squeamish.

"Whoo-hoo!" We start digging into the ground, soon coming up at the base of the mountain. "Well, that's about as far as this baby will go. We'll have to do the rest on our own." We hop out.

"But we'll never make it up the mountain before they arrive," Lloyd says.

"Well, then let's see what my sister packed." Kai smiles and goes to the back "Oh, I love my sis.!" He happily cries. "Leave this to me. Hey, buddy, you just had to be first. And guess what you win? A little of this! Who's next?" Kai smashes their vehicles.

"These guys just don't stop." Jay comments.

"Climb on," Kai says, and everyone hops on the suit except for me. I flew up, helping Kai fend off the Stone Warriors

"Ugh. They're still coming." Jay says.

"One of these days we're gonna have to fight." Cole sighs.

"We're not climbing fast enough!" Zane yells.

"Activate hook!" Kai uses a grappling hook, pulling them up. I fly up after the,.

"Oh! We made it to the top! But where's the Temple of Light?" Jay asks, looking around.

"Are you sure you used the medallion right?" Lloyd sighs.

"Oh, of course, I used it right. It said it should be right here." Jay snaps.

"Well, until we find it, I've got to find a way to slow them down." Kai walks off, and we go start climbing up. Well, in my case flying.

"The Temple of Light." I gasp. I help the rest of the guys up, and we walk in the temple.

"Guys, check this out. It's us!" Jay points to the wall, where thousands of paintings littered the wall.

"Impossible. It's everything we've ever done." Kai gasps.

"Finding the Bounty, facing the Devourer, even right now." We stare at every painting.

"How could it all be here?" Zane questions.

"Destiny." I and Lloyd say together.

"I think I know what we need to do." He brushes off some dust, revealing Lloyd's energy symbol, a dragon. I brush off more parts, revealing a yin and yang symbol for my powers. "Okay, now what?" Lloyd asks. We start hearing Stone Warriors closing in.

"Why does everything have to be so hard?" Cole sighs.

"The bell. It's an instrument. You guys ready for this?" Lloyd asks.

"Bring it." Cole nods.

Lloyd jumps up and kicks the bell, landing back on his symbol. "Whoa, what's happening?"

"No one move!" Zane yells. I give Lloyd a look, and we let the light lift us up, Lloyd slightly higher than I was. The light shines, snapping toward a crystal, then another, and we are all given new gi's, and the guys, Elemental Blades.

"Guys, send him your powers!" I yell, and they do so. The light burns out, and we both fall to the ground.

"Lloyd! Kaylee!" Kai yells.

Lloyd stands up. "Let 'em have it!" He yells.

"Now we get to fight!" Cole cheers.

"Cool. Whoo-hoo!" Kai starts using his blade.

We all start using our newfound powers to knock away the army. Once the army gets too much for us as individuals though, we return to Lloyd's side.

"Our turn," Lloyd smirks. We summon a fusion dragon, on both Gold and Silver. They quickly retreat and we cheer, Lloyd, picking me up and spinning me around happily.

I like goldfish and I cannot lie.
