Joey's P.O.V.

I wake up the next morning and I don't feel Daniel next to me. I see a note on his nightstand. It says, Joey, I am sorry I am not there when you woke up. I went down to the church to talk to my dad. See you when I get back. Also, I made breakfast so go relax and eat! - Your Prince

I smile at the note but then instantly I frown. "He he h-he is going to talk t-to his dad? Is he going to come out because I pressured him?" I say out loud to myself. I walk to the kitchen and the whole time I am in shock. He can't come out because I pressured him. I would never be able to live with myself. It's not like I will break up with him just because he isn't openly gay.

I find my plate of food with a smoothie next to it. He made french toast in the shape of hearts. Daniel is way to good for me. Why is he even dating me?

After what feels like hours I finally hear Daniel's car pull up. I jump out of my seat and open the front door right as he is putting the keys in it. I throw myself into his arms and of course he wraps his around me.
"Hey," he says stumbling backwards with a smile, "I wasn't gone for too long was I?" His upbeat personality always makes my heart skip a beat.
"Long enough," my voice is muffled because I have my face burried in his neck. He picks me up bridal style and I keep my face in his neck. He carries me to the couch and sets me down. He sits next to me and I climb to straddle on his lap. I run my hands over the back of his neck and his hair. He doesn't have any product in it so it is really soft.

"What did you talk to your dad about?" I say and he instantly freezes.
"I don't know how to tell you this Joey," he says looking me in the eyes. I can see the film of tears brimming in his eyes as he tries to fight from breaking down. What the fuck happened?
"Daniel y-you're scaring me. What happened?" I say. I can feel my eyes grow ten times their natural size. My eyes always get bigger whenever I get scared.
"You see..."
