Remnant, a world full of violence, monsters, discrimnation, heroes, and war. Vale was on the brink of destruction due to the White Fang and their human allies.

It was on a day unlike any other, where the world face it's most terrifying tragedy. The Vytal Festival. A time of the year for the people of Remnant to celebrate peace and unity throughout the world. But during a time of supposed celebrating peace, turned students into soldiers. Children, sent to die in a war against creatures that crawled from the unknown depths of void: The Grimm.

Chaos, destruction, death, all they knew was to kill. Kill all that they see. Kill, anything that moves. They descended upon the Kingdom of Vale like a natural disaster. Gunfire and screamed echoed across the city, flames and smoke coloring the area in bleak and ominous colors. The smell of iron and brimstone lingered in the air.

During the chaos a boy with black hair and silvers wielding a dark green colored scythe had slain a Beowolf before cutting a Ursa in half.

Y/N: (thoughts) Damn, they've already invaded the kingdom!

He then heard screeches coming from above and saw a group of Nevermore flying over. Flapping their wings and making them hover where Y/N is before firing their feathered quills like a machine gun at him.

However, Y/N dodges the feather before he bounched off a wall and changed his scythe into a shotgun as he began firing at the Nevermore.

The Nevermores all screeched in pain as they felt the rounds form the shotgun make them misfire and accidentally hit themselves as they had prepared another quill barrage. Only to turn each other into pin visions and falling to the ground, disintegrating into nothings a moment after they fell dead.

Y/N lands on the ground before firing his shotgun at a Boarbatusk and a Creep, killing them.

Y/N: (thoughts) Ruby, Yang, Weiss, Blake. I hope they and the others are alright.

Suddenly a Beowulf came up from behind him. Swiping with its claws and sent Y/N flying into a nearby car. Denting it and flipping it over from the impact. Y/N groans in pain as he his sliver aura was flickering for a moment before he got off the car. 

The grimm raised its claw, ready to strike Y/N down but it was suddenly frozen, then it's arm seemingly was twisted and bent bent the wrong direction in a horrific way and soon was the rest of the body until the body went "SNAP!" then turned to dust. Y/N had a good feeling about who came to his apparent rescues.

Y/N: Ah, sick way to die.... Wait, I know this semblance.

He heard heels clacking against the ground. He turned to see a middle-aged woman (don't let her hear you say that) with blond hair and glasses. Flowing from her back was a short and targeted looking cape. She seemed to be carrying a riding crop.

???: Mr. Rose. I believe your services are needed elsewhere.

Y/N: Oh, thanks Miss Goodwitch.

Glynda: (smacks his wrist) I believe I've told you to call me "Glynda"?

Y/N: Ow! Right, sorry Glynda.

Glynda: Good. Now, get to Beacon. The others need you, the other hunters and I will handle the city. Help your fellow students secure the school.

Y/N: Got it. (starts running)

Glynda watched him run off. Shaking her head with a soft smile before composing herself and turning to face a horde of Grimm.

Glynda: Now... (pushes glasses up) Let's dance.

Y/N was heading towards Beacon academy while killing any Grimm that gets in his way.

He turned a large number of the creatures of darkness to dust. A Bullhead Dropship then flew up beside him, the side door opened and an Atlas Soldier was standing in the doorway.

Soldier: Hey kid! Need a ride to Beacon?!

Y/N: Yeah, I got some friends of mine that really need help!

Soldier: Then hop in!

Y/N jump onto the Bullhead as it took off to Beacon.

Soldier: Need ammo? Got plenty to spare.

Y/N: Thanks. (went over to and collect some ammo)

The soldier then handed Y/N a belt of grenades.

Soldier: I think you may need these.

Y/N: I don't do greneades, but due to the current situation, I can make an exception.

He took the belt and strapped it around his waist.

Pilot: Ten seconds!

Y/N: Get the door open! 

The soldier nodded and opened the door. Letting Y/N see the battle for Beacon below. The students were fighting robots, white fang, and the grimm!

Soldier: Good luck down there, kid. Oum be with you.

Y/N: Same with you.

Y/N jumped off the Bullhead and was falling down to the ground. He managed to land in a superhero pose, catching the attention of the combatants.

Y/N: Alright, who wants some of me?!

The androids all aimed their weapons and started firing at Y/N. The Paladin, the large mech, stomped its way towards him. Y/N dodged the bullets before he jumped and slashed through the Paladin, cutting it in half.

The students were left in shock at how easily Y/N destroyed it. Then they all grinned before continuing to fight, inspired by the silver eyed huntsman-in-training. He was then hugged by another silver eyed student who tackle hugged him in a burst of rose petals.

???: (ecstatic) Y/N!!!

Y/N: Gah! Geez, Ruby, now's not the time for hugs!

Ruby: There's always time for hugs!

Y/N: Not when you're in a middle of a crisis that is!

Ruby: (pouts) You owe me cookies and hugs after this. (lets go of him)

Y/N: Yeah, yeah, I know.

A girl with long black hair, amber eyes, and cat ears landed right next to him.

???: You ok?

Then a a Beowulf was sent flying past them as a a girl with long blond hair and lilac eyes approached them.

??? 2: Took you long enough, bro!

The blonde laughed as she grabbed Y/N's head and gave him a noogie.

Y/N: Oh come on, Yang! Quit doing that again!

Yang: Hehe, nope! Badass or not, you're still my baby bro!

She lets him go as another girl, this time with white and blue eyes, slid next to the group.

???: (to Y/N) And where have you been, you dolt?!

Y/N: (sarcastic) Great way to say hello, Weiss.

Weiss: Then you probably shouldn't just, run off and crash a ship!

???: She has a point, Y/N. You have us quite the scare.

Y/N turned to see his other friends. He saw all his friends from Beacon walk up behind the cat girl, Blake. Seeing Jaune, Pyhrra, Ren, Nora, Sun, Neptune, Sage, Scarlett, everyone! All the contestants form the Vytal Festival.

Neon: WHOO-HOO! Y/N is in the house!

Flynt: I dig you crashing that ship man.

Y/N: Thanks. At least some people appreciate me.

Sun: Yeah well most of us don't crash ships into the harbor.

Nora: Next time, bring me! I want to break more legs!

Jaune: Ok but seriously, no more crashing ships. Ok? We have enough heart attacks.

Y/N: Then let's get back into the action, agreed?

Students: Ready!

The students brought their weapons out as they faced the Grimm, White Fang, and the drones.

Y/N: We stand here. We end these terrorists and the grimm! Beacon Academy will not fall! Not on this day!

That made the small army of students let out a battle cry, roaring and charging into battle against the army that wished to destroy everyone and everything they knew. They clashed and fought with their enemies as it became a battle.

They cut through the enemy like a hot knife through butter. Sword clashed against steel, bullets rained down on the iron hides of the Atlesian Knights and Paladins. Every student using each piece of equipment and ability they had at their disposal to fight off this threat.

Sun: There's too many of them!

Neptune: They just keep coming!

Y/N: Just hold the line! (shot down a White Fang member)

Suddenly he was hit from behind by a group of Boartusks. Sending sprawling across the ground and into a large group of Grimm. His presence caught their attention, turning to him and growling at him softly and they surrounded him.

Y/N: Oh shit!

Ruby sliced an Ursa in half but her eyes widened when she saw last it.

Ruby; Y/N!

She tired to run to him but she was pinned down by a Beowulf, and she was trying to keep it from her face. The others saw Y/N's situation and went to help him but they were intercepted by various forces as well.

Y/N stood his ground, but he knew he couldn't fight a large group. He need to come up with a plan before he'll get slaughter by the Grimm. He then had an idea, looking down at the grenade belt he had been given...

Y/N: (sighs) Welp, looks like I'm doing something really stupid after all...

Y/N then looks back to Ruby and the others, who make eye contact with him.

Y/N: Ruby, everyone... I'm really sorry...

Y/N unwraps the belt and throws it up in the air before he aims his shotgun at it.

Everyone: Y/N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Grimm all lunged at Y/N, eager to tear him apart and consume his flesh...

Y/N: (smile, teary) Goodbye... I love you girls... Dad... Mom... Uncle Qrow... Aunt Raven... 

He pulls the and trigger and fires at the belt.

A large explosion engulfed Y/N and the Grimm. Flames scorching the ground and sending the students flying back because of the blast's shockwave. When it was over, there was a crater and flames. Smoke rising into the air but.., no Y/N...

RWBY: Y/N!!! 

Ruby was slowly walking to where Y/N was before she stopped. She fell to her knees, burying her face in her hands and sobbing uncontainable. Flashes of silver started to appear through the seams between her fingers.

Ruby: Y/N...

The flashes of silver started to appear even brighter. She gritted her teeth. Her anger seeping out and made physical with the increasing silver glows. It was too much. THIS was too much! Why did it have to be him? Why must the world be so cruel?! Why... why... WHY HIM?!?!

Ruby: NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The white light envelopes her, spreading out all across beacon and soon Vale. Then... everything was reduced to white.

(Elseware)

Y/N's eyes struggled to open. There was a deafening ringing in his years and his vision was blurry. Practically and completely white as snow. Unable to see anything.

Y/N: Wh- What happened...?

He heard a voice:.

???: Hey, he's waking up.

??? 2: Oh boy. He looks like he's in bad shape. Hey Pvt. Church! Radio for medivac.

??? 3: Yes sir.

The third voice was strange. It sounded like Pyhrra's voice only... MUCH different.

Y/N: Huh?

??? 2: Hey hey hey. Easy kid. You're hurt pretty bad.

Y/N's vison started to clear a little and ringing in his ears was starting to go away.

???: What's your name, son?

Y/N: Y-Y/N Rose...

???: Ok Y/N, honey, we're gonna get you fixed up. We're the good guys.

Pvt. Church: Medivac inbound, two minutes!

???: Roger that! (To Y/N) Just hang in on Y/N?

'???': Y/N...?

Y/N!

(End Flashback)

Y/N: Ah!

Someone was tapping out of his daydream.

???: Hey, kid you in there?

Y/N turned around and saw a man in aromr with a red visor and a trench coat.

???: Talk to me, kid, are you okay? Cause if you aren't, I'll hit the shit out of Grif for you.

Y/N: Oh, hey Matthew. Sorry, I was just...

Matthew: Let me, guess... it's something important from awhile. Is that right?

Y/N: 

Matthew: By the looks of your face... I think I triggered something. (He turns towards the door) Grif! You're going die today!

Grif: (outside) Screw off, Carlson!

Y/N: (sighs) Sorry about that.

Matthew: (turn towards Y/N) Hey don't sweat it too much right now. Do you understand?

Y/N: Copy that.

Y/N puts his helmet on as he was wearing a black colored Spartan armor with red shoulder pads.

Matthew: (pats Y/N in the back) Good. Now that you're ready let's go outside. Sarge is giving a meeting today in a little while.

Y/N: (nods) Right.

The two began walking outside of Red Base before Y/N asked something to his partner and friend.

Y/N: Hey Matthew?

Matthew: Yeah? What is it?

Y/N: Have you ever wondered why we're here?

Matthew: Hmmm.... I don't know.... Ethically speaking, I thinks It's either fate or God's plan for me. Being sent here instead of the frontlines? I don't know.... What about you, kid?

Y/N: You know? I was wondering about that myself...

Prologue ended.

At first, I was originally going to start at Halo Reach, but after some time of discussing with @Chorus8, I've changed my mind to start on Season 1 of Red vs Blue before going to Halo Reach and Combat Evolved.
