Background: Khykan 'Mdamaai or Mai is one of the rarest female warrior on their species especially an Elite Arbiter one of the most honorable ranks to any of its kind. Mai wanted to prove that even women can be a warrior more than just simply an object for them, she gone threw many battles to prove her worth and especially being the youngest Sangheili warrior in their history although later on she felt more and more that this war was going nowhere and asked herself...why were they fighting in the first place ans slowly, but surely she started to not like the Covenant and the only person that she trust the most was Bruticus the Brute since his the only being she got to get along well and another one of her kind that sadly got Banished because of the actions he did. 

Later, she gained admiration towards humanity especially the comedy and action movies to the point she actually gained a sense of humor especially when she started to make puns. 

Later on though, she saw certain things that she wished that this war ended sooner rather than later especially seeing the children having neither parents or a family losing their children, it broke her heart everytime she saw that since she dreams of having a child when she finds someone worthy of combat, training and love.

She secretly goes outside of command without no one noticing and helps the people who are suffering along side Bruticus when they encounter each other and decided to work together in secret rather than doing it alone especially since both of them want peace in the process.

Overall, Mai was an incredible Elite Arbiter being one of the rarest female Arbiters that not many see honorable in a fight and soft towards kids of any age and finding not only peace but also finding someone worthy to call her mate in the process of it all.
