Preparing for War (Day 2)

-= UA Dorms, Common Rooms, Preparation Day 1, Night =-

"Listen up everyone! I have some news about the war!" Kendo announced as most students started to surround her at the table.

"I have talked to Nedzu about some of the loopholes that Momo and I found in the rulebook and we can use them. So I'd advise that those who want some extra support items, go to the support department tomorrow morning. Now, I have a little bit of info on who we are fighting," Kendo said, catching everyone's attention with the last sentence.

"I've talked with Mirio," Kendo started, but almost everyone got chills, "and I tried to talk about who we could possibly be fighting against. Sadly, whoever they are, talked to him before we could."

Everyone grumbled in disappointment, which was understandable.

"Now, I know that sucks, but even Mirion said when villains attack out there in the field, we wouldn't know who would attack us. However, according to them, they allowed Mirio to give us some hints," She explained as she grabbed the notebook that she wrote the information in.

"Here's what we got, they are a small group. So we can assume that they aren't larger than ten students," Kendo started as everyone has some form of comfort or relief by hearing.

"There is some bad news with that. Those students fought against the big three at the same time. Individually. And each one of them won against the three," she explained.

Those who were at the table had their mouths hanging open. They remember fighting Mirio and that he beat everyone from both classes. So for someone to beat him must be powerful, but to fight all three of the Big Three at the same time and win...

"Do we know their Quirks?" Ochako asked nervously.

"Mirio only told me that their leader has a very simple quirk like him, but the level that he can utilize it is deadly. For the rest, he simply said that it's too complicated to describe without giving it away what it is," Kendo responded.

Now that didn't lift anyone's enthusiasm for the fight that's to come.

"Now, I think it would be wise for everyone, and I truly mean everyone, to take this war seriously. Because one thing that Mirio advised us to do is 'To take this war seriously because they will.' And if anything of what he said is true, then we are going to have to fight for our lives, just like you guys in 1-A, but from what I'm getting, this might be harder than we expected," Kendo said in a serious tone.

By now everyone at the table was a bit nervous, but slowly a spark of determination started to shine in their eyes.

"So, starting tomorrow, we're going to ask our teachers to train in the different training grounds for different types of training, such as obstacles training, pushing our quirks to the limit, fight training and our formations. So, for tonight, go rest and tomorrow we'll go plus ultra!" Kendo said as she raised her fist in the air.

"YEAH!" Everyone at the table cheered.

"Well then, it sounds like this won't be too boring for us after all," Carrion commented.

"I agree. That, however, means that we're going to have to train during the night," said Silence, as he's doing some torso stretches.

"Alright, which training ground should we use tonight? Pipe dreams or empty city?" Mecha asked.

"I'd say we go to the empty city. I think we should try and at least come up with a couple more coop moves and I might be able to practice with my wings for a bit," said Silence as he went towards the wings that hang on the wall.

"Then let's go. We have no time to waste," Carrion responded as he and Mecha made his way towards the stairs.

"And with this last detail... Done!" Mei said enthusiastically as she looked at the latest 're'-creation for one of her friends. Although she was pouting a bit to Silence when he asked to change the appearance of the costume, she eventually gave in when he suggested that it was like 'putting new clothes on a child'.

Right now, she was looking over all the details one last time at the new support item made for Silence. The ghost costume has been changed immensely from the white blanket with two black dots as eyes to something similar to one of those ponchos from South America. The design was fairly simple, the entirety of it is very long and black, almost reaching the floor. It has a hoodie to cover his head and at the front has now a split to easily pull out guns and other weapons, along with the wings if he was going to use those. There are some patterns that were barely visible, just to break the uniformity of it.

"Hey sensei, I'm going to deliver this to a friend of mine, alright?" Mei announced.

"Alright, Mei. But be careful, from what I know, they trained a lot last night so they might be resting," Power Loader warned.

"Understood!" Mei responded as she grabbed the black poncho and ran to the door to leave.

Now Mei is usually very bad with social interactions when it's not related to support items, tinkering with said items, or almost everything when it comes with people. However, when it comes to these three friends of hers, she had no problems interacting with them and actually loved hanging out with them. Especially with Mecha. The two of them would plan so many projects for them to try and make. Let's just say... Silence has learned to activate his quirk immediately when he hears something that's about to go wrong.

She quickly arrived at the entrance of UA's basement area when a thought came into her mind.

She quickly puts on the poncho and activates it, making her completely invisible when she has the hoodie up. Carefully and quietly as she can, she opens the door and goes downstairs to deliver Silence his reworked costume.

As she descends down to the basements, she can see that the lights get dimmer and she remembers what his sensei said.

'They went training last night, so Silence must be asleep,' Mei thought as she entered their living room.

Before long, Mei noticed Mecha working behind a computer and started to make her way to her. Once she was close enough, she was planning to scare her but...

"Hey Mei," Mecha said as she turned to face her tinkerer friend.

"How? I'm pretty sure this is still active," Mei responded.

"Oh, it is. I just saw the cameras where you came this way and have infrared lenses," Mecha responded as she stood up and hugged her pink haired friend.

"Dammit. Oh well, how are you doing?" Mei asked as she deactivated the invisibility cloak.

"Not bad, just gathering info about our opponents. Quite an interesting bunch from what I see so far. And I must say, impressive work," Mecha responded as she looked over what Mei was wearing.

"Yeah, it's quite a redesign if I do say so myself. Still, a shame that he didn't want to keep the ghost design, though," Mei commented.

"Yeah, I said the same to him too, but even Carrion said that a redesign would be ideal, and he can turn invisible without it!" Mecha complained.

"Yeah, there are so many things I want to try to make for him, but it's so complicated to create something for him. Where is he anyway?" Mei asked.

"Yeah, there are so many things I want to try to make for him, but it's so complicated to create something for him. Where is he anyway?" Mei asked.

"Crawling in the air vents... somewhere," Mecha said as she gestured to the ceiling.

"Is Silence awake? I have to return to my class soon," Mei asked

"Nah, he's knocked out. He was training until... five o'clock or something like that? So he's trying to catch that sleep now. If you want, you can leave it with me and I'll pass it to him when he wakes up. Don't want you to be stabbed with a pen or something like that," Mecha responded.

"Oh, I wouldn't get hurt. I've padded this baby with kevlar, so no stab wounds, just bruises," Mei explained as she undresses from the poncho from her body and folded it up, and handed it to her robotic friend.

"Yeah, well, this is Silence we're talking about. With his limbs the way they are, he can easily push even the teachers to a wall and leave a crater," Mecha responded as she grabs the cloak and put it aside.

"Uh... I guess that's a good point. That baby isn't that well-padded," Mei commented.

"Now, I think it would be a good idea for you to go back to class. I'll talk to you later in the day, alright?" Mecha said.

"Absolutely! I have to talk to you about a couple of future projects. So I'll talk to you later" Mey responded as she exited the basement with a skip in her walk.

Mecha let's out a soft chuckle at her friends antics as she looks at the cloak that Mei has redesigned.

"You were already incredibly hard to beat with your fighting skills alone. And with this, you will essentially be a ghost. A true assassin, with your own will," Mecha said as she shook her head in amusement.

-= Teacher's Lounge, Afternoon =-

"He really said that?" Present Mic, otherwise known as Hizashi Yamada asked in shock.

"Oh yeah, he said that," Aizawa responded, with a grin.

"Heh, I would more than tip mah hat to 'im if he pulls that off. 'Ah have no doubt he could pull it off," Snipe commented.

"You think that he could pull that off? Seriously?" Nemuri asked with a lot of doubt in her voice.

"If anybody could do it, it would be 'im. Ah may be good, but 'ahm not that good. Ya know what he went through. He was made to be an assassin. A silent killa'. They are trained to kill someone from almost any distance," said Snipe.

"True. True," Power Loader started, "However, I believe that the students are going to struggle a lot this year for one reason alone."

"Oh? And that would be?" Thirteen asked curiously.

"Mei has modified that ghost costume that she and Mecha made a while ago," Power Loader simply responded.

"Oh... So he can now become invisible for the war. Joy. As if the students already had a snowball's chance in Hell," Hound Dog commented sarcastically.

"I think that at this point we'd have to judge how well the students will cooperate and how well they'd do in a rescue situation," Thirteen suggested.

"Knowin' Nedzu, mighta' been part of 'is the plan," said Snipe.

"You know, I have to ask... what does Toshinori think with all of this?" Nemuri asked.

"I don't know. I think he had to go away for a few days?" Hizashi responded.

"I want to say that it has something to do with our three survivors. If I'm not wrong, he had something to do with the rescue of them. Through... Do any of the three of them have any good opinions for All Might?" Aizawa asked curiously.

"I... don't know. They don't really interact with each other as far as I know." Nemuri answered.

"'Ah know the reason. However, it's very personal..." Snipe said.

"Same here. In my case, it's a case between patient and therapist," said Hound Dog in a serious tone.

"Wait. So there is some kind of bad blood between them?" Thirteen asked in shock.

"There is. But 'ah think we should talk about somethin' different now," Snipe responded.

"Yeah, probably a good thing. I have to go soon, the students asked to use the different training grounds to practice," said Kan.

"It's good that they are taking this seriously," Aizawa commented, 'Just a bit of a shame that they have to go against them. But this will be an important learning experience for them.'

-= With the students in Ground Beta, Bakugo's group, Afternoon =-

"I still don't see the point in doing this!" Bakugo screamed as he blew up another training bot.

"Well, while you were asleep last night, we got some info about our opponents. Although it's barely anything to go by," Mina said with a slight condescending tone.

"Right, as if we need any extra help," Bakugo grumbled.

"Each one of them can fight the Big Three and win. Alone," Kirishima said.

"WHAT!?"

That brought Bakugo to a standstill. He along with everyone in his class got his ass kicked by that 'knock-off Tintin' as Bakugo called him and was very angry that he lost that fight. But to hear that these extra's beat those three, but individually could take those three alone!

"Yeah, so we are up against some students who are strong fighters who could possibly be on par with pro heroes," Denki responded.

"LIKE HELL WE ARE!" Bakugo screamed, "Those fuckers are probably just some extras who think they are superior for some reason!"

"I'm pretty sure Bakugo called the kettle black," Sero commented quietly to Mina, by which she chuckled.

"Shut up!"

"So are we going to start to train seriously?" Mina asked as she still lets out a couple of giggles.

"Fuck yes, you useless extras! If they think that this will be an easy win for them then they can forget it!" Said Bakugo, motivating his friends.

-= With the students in Ground Beta, Ochako's group, Afternoon =-

"What do you all think about this, guys?" Ochako asked a bit nervously as she sparred against Tsuyu.

"While I think that this 'war' exercise is an interesting learning experience, it is a bit curious and concerning that the teacher won't say anything about who we are fighting. I can agree that it's a realistic twist for the exercise, it's indeed a bit concerning who we're going to fight with," said Iida as he's doing some warm-up exercises.

"True. Ribbit. But I'm curious how the teachers react to those students. And even how Mirio described them," Tsuyu commented.

"A small group that could be no more than 10 students, but can use their quirk to a deadly degree, along with their fighting abilities," Todoroki recounted.

"By which their leader has a very simple quirk, similar to Mirio, but the other more complex one," Ochako finished.

"Do any of you have any ideas on what we should prepare for?" Tsuyu asked.

"As for now... no," Todoroki eventually responded, by which everyone responded in a similar fashion.

"Well, I guess for now, we'll have to prepare ourselves when the 'villains' will attack and act accordingly," Iida said.

"Right," was everyone's general response to this.

"I'll also have to go soon to the Support Class to ask for a couple of support items," Ochako said.

"Oh? You too? Any ideas you have in mind you want to include in your arsenal?" Tsuyu asked curiously.

"A grappling hook, or at least something similar, so if I'm floating up in the air I could move faster vertically upwards or sidewards," Ochako explained.

"An excellent suggestion. Covering more ground with your abilities can be essential for this upcoming exercise," said Iida as he swings his arm up and down in his usual robotic manner.

"True. While I might be a powerhouse with my fire and ice, covering the field is a double-edged sword in my case," Shoto responded.

"Similar in my case, I may be fast, but with corners, it might be problematic," said Iida.

"So we're all going to visit the Support department right now?" Tsuyu asked, already knowing the answer.

"Yeah, I think so. We have a lot to do, and not so much time left," said Ochako in a serious tone.

"Then let's go. We have no time to waste," said Iida as everyone was slightly jogging towards the exit of the training ground.

"I fear that you have no other choice..."
