In the late night hours...

Once night arrived, both classes met up at the Class 1-B dorms, much to Bakugo's protests, where they were going to talk about what to do for the preparation week.

"Alright everyone, gather around," Kendo said in a commanding tone to everyone, "Now, we don't know who we're up against in this war, but that does not mean we can just slack off or take this easy. Because for all we know, they could be students two or three years older than us, meaning that they would have more experience than us. He said that because of certain events that happened two years ago and because of them, we have some special 'students' that we never met before."

Most of the students nodded in response.

"Tsk, why should we care for a couple of extras?" Bakugo commented.

"One, we don't know their quirks or combat experiences, and two, we don't know how many of them are. Because of that, once we start the exercise, they could be walking just beside us when we go on patrol, for example, and we wouldn't know it," Shinso commented.

"Thank you Shinso. What he said is right, I've read the rulebook a couple of times and I've noticed some loopholes that we could possibly use. Yaoyorozu, if possible I would like for you to have a look after the meeting," Kendo said, by which Momo nodded.

"Now, we have to talk about patrol groups. I was thinking that the groups should have at least someone who can observe the environment for something or someone suspicious, someone who can defend the civilians in case of an attack, someone who can fight against the villains, if possible. However, I know that won't be possible for everyone. So with that in mind, we'll have some groups that can specialize with attack and defense," Kendo explained as she pulled out a notebook and a pen.

And so, the two classes started to form multiple groups, with a couple of hiccups from 'certain' students. What the group of students didn't notice was that they were being recorded by a small spider-like device that was hidden in the corner of the room.

"Well, it's good to see that most of them are taking this seriously," Carrion commented as he listened to the recordings that Mecha brought to them.

The recordings echo throughout the large room where the three friends lived. The room was similarly structured as a large storage space, support pillars littered the big room with movable thin walls on wheels to make makeshift sleeping rooms or any other rooms the three would want. The main reason for the movable wall was actually for Carrion's sake so that he could cover up his 'sleeping' quarter.

We find the three friends in their living room, which was decorated with a tv against the wall, some weapons hanging from Silence side of the room, a metal workbench with all kinds of tools and small projects from Mecha, and a couple of furniture that Carrion brough from... somewhere, he wouldn't say where. We see them discussing what their next move should be for this war.

"I must say it was fun crawling around in such a small size. Though... I was almost reminded of where..." Mecha said excitedly in the beginning, starting to feel worried as she continued on.

"Mecha."

The robotic girl looks up towards who was essentially the leader of this group of friends, Silence. She saw that he had this calm but worried look in his eyes.

"Remember. We've long since escaped that nightmare, and everyone has been arrested from 'that' place." said the mechanical and monotone voice that came from Silence's neck brace.

"At least, those who I haven't devoured," Carrion commented, gaining a snort and a giggle from Mecha and some shaking from Silent, along with a smile.

"In any case," Silent started, while shaking his head while still wearing a smile, "we now have an idea of the groups that they can form. I'm still looking through the sports festival and trying to get more info about them through the files."

"So you've been hacking again? Hope that you won't get in trouble this time," Mecha commented.

"I've learned from my mistakes the last time, given that the software was updated without my knowledge," Silence rolled his eyes, "besides, the principal himself said that we would need to do our own 'investigation' on them and allowed me, only this time, for me to hack the mainframe."

"But why didn't you ask Mecha to do that instead of recording the heroes?" Carrion asked.

"I still struggle possessing different objects from very large distances. When they're next to each other, I can move around like a child and her imaginary friend. But it becomes harder when it goes past... roughly 20 meters apart. And given where the dorms are located and where all the data is stored in UA..." Mecha explained.

"Alright, that's fair, but Silence, couldn't you have waited until Mecha was done with her part?" Carrion asked with a curious tone.

"I have, for the most part," Silence started, "I created an entrance so that Mecha can enter the database hopefully undetected. As much as I want to pull an all-nighter, I'm still human and I'm going to need it for my visit to your friend, Mecha."

"Wait, you're going to see Mei tomorrow?" Mecha asked in surprise.

"Yeah, I'm going to ask her if she can reuse that... costume that you and Mei made for me," Silence explained.

"Ahh... but it's a cute costume," Mecha whined.

Pure silence filled the room for a couple of seconds, with a very unamused look from Silence.

After a couple of seconds more, Carrion burst out in laughter, "God, I love it when you pull that off," he managed to say between breaths.

A mechanical sigh came from Silence's direction while he had a tired look in his eyes, "While it was... an interesting present, I think that with a very different appearance would be beneficial for me if I'm going to use it more often."

"I have to side with him, Mecha. Having a similar ability myself, I can see how he can benefit from it if the look of the costume is completely overhauled.

"Fine..." Mecha begrudgingly, but quickly changed her expression to a curious one, "By the way, how are your legs?"

"They're fine. Though I know for sure that I still need some work with wing shields," Silence responded as he looked towards where he had his wings mounted.

There, on the wall, close to Silence's sleeping quarter were a pair of large, metal wings, where the 'feathers' are made of multiple intersecting dull blades.

"Still an interesting choice for your arsenal. A silent way to move a lot of distance vertically, and if used correctly, a decent shield," Carrion commented.

"I agree. I assume that you're going to train with those this week?" Mecha asked, by which Silence simply nodded.

"Well... I think it's late enough for me, so I'm going to sleep. I'll talk to you all in the morning," Silence said as he went to his bed.

"See you in the morning, Silent. I'm going to collect those files for you, so we all can come up with a plan. Your laptop still has that opening prepared?" Mecha asked as she went to the sofa where the laptop lay, by which Silent nodded.

Just as Silent responded, he entered his sleeping room and closed the door behind him. He lets out a silent heavy sigh and passes his hand through his short green hair. The moment his hand came in contact with his skin, he felt the cold touch of metal that he was used to for so long now.

He lets out a long and silent sigh as he removes the voice box device and his mask from his body and puts it on his desk and leans over it.

'Nedzu, I know that you think that this will help us mentally, but... you're playing with a double-edged sword. While I managed to get out of there... 'somewhat' fine mentally, my family went through worse than I have. I guess I'll talk to him more in detail about what he was thinking tomorrow,' Silence thought with a worried expression etched on his face.

With another silent sigh, he walked towards his bed and collapsed on top of it, even if it made a lot of noise from the extra weight. He was just too mentally tired to use his quirk at this point.

"I hope that you are aware that you're playing a dangerous game here, Nedzu," Ryo Inui, otherwise known as Hound Dog, said in a serious tone.

Inui has been helping the 'survivor' trio with therapy since they came to UA close to two years now and is still working through several problems that they suffer from.

"I hafta agree with 'im, Nedzu," Snipe commented, " While Silence might be the most recovered out of the three of 'em, his mates still need some recovery to do."

"While you two have the right to be concerned, especially you, Inui, I know what I'm doing," Nedzu responded as he was working on some paperwork.

"I'm not sure you do," Aizawa commented, "Like Snipe said, Silence is the most recovered out of the three, but that's also because he suffered the least compared to the other two."

"Of that I'm aware, Aizawa," Nedzu responded, "What I also noticed is that Silence is also the one who almost always supports them and protects them, even if they don't need to."

"Yes, I also noticed that... too," Hound Dog responded, quickly realizing where the chimera was going, "Nedzu, this can backfire heavily for those two."

"What are you two talking about?" Thirteen finally asked.

"He wants to try and make Mecha and Carrion more independent through this exercise. Though knowing Nedzu, and how... scarring some of the objectives in the Civil War can be, I'm almost certain that there is going to be a risk that they can get a panic attack, suffer from a major relapse, or worse," Hound Dog explained.

Now that got most of the staff worried. Most of them know how strong they are, both alone and working together. But, that's when they are focused. And if either Carrion or Mecha go in a blind panic or rage... that brought a small chill crawl on some of the staff's back.

"Now, I know that all of you are worried about what this could result in, along with the repercussions this could have with the students," Nedzu said "but fear not. Knowing Silence, he noticed this too and will most likely talk to me tomorrow. Probably after Kendo visited me and asked her questions about the exercise."

"Nedzu, if anything goes wrong, Silence might actually fight ya. And if that were to hapn', Ahm not sure how well we would be able to stop him," Snipe commented.

"I mean... with or without a quirk, he can be a one man's army. Especially with how well he can handle guns," commented Present Mic.

"Ya kiddin' me!? He can curve bullets better than I can. And the distance he can cover..." Snipe responded, "At times, it feels like he's teaching me."

"Again, I'm aware of the risk, but I'm sure this will turn out beneficial for those two survivors, and also for the students. Given what those three have gone through and what kind of training they could offer to the rest of the students in this simulation, it will force them to think differently compared to the LoV that they have gotten used to," Nedzu explained.

Everyone went silent for a moment, thinking if this was the right choice for either the students or the one who suffered enough.

Eventually, Hound Dog lets out a heavy sigh through his muffle and passes his hand through his hair. "Nedzu, I don't care if I'll get fired after I say this, but if anything goes wrong, and there is a big chance that it will, it will be on you. I won't blame them one fucking bit. Especially Silence if he goes for your head."

Once he said that he left the teacher's lounge and went to his sleeping quarters. Most of the staff were stunned because it's not often that they see Ryo Inui so pissed when he's not in battle, let alone against the Principal.

"I'll try and calm 'im down," Snipe eventually said and made his way to the door, just for him to stop at the frame and look back towards the Principal, "Just so ya know, I wholeheartedly agree with 'im."

Just as he finished saying that, he left the room to accompany the therapist and hopefully calm him down enough.

"I... think it would be wise that everyone heads to bed," Nemuri Kayama, otherwise known as Midnight, finally said, trying to remove the uncomfortable atmosphere that formed in the lounge.

"Agreed," Aizawa commented, "We'll have a lot of work to do tomorrow, helping and preparing the students for this war. These two weeks are going to be a long one and we'll be trying to help our students if they ask us."

Nedzu lets out a small sigh and looks towards the remaining staff in the room. "You're right. Everyone, go ahead to your sleeping quarters. Once I'm done with these papers, I'll head to bed myself."

Everyone nodded and said goodnight and left the lounge, but once everyone left, Nedzu let's a much heavier sigh than before, "I can only hope for the best with those two. As for Silence... we'll see how that will turn out tomorrow."

"I'm so sorry, son! I'm so sorry!"

[A/N: Hey everyone! Here's the second chapter of this story. I actually wanted to say that I've read a fair amount of this concept for a war excercise, but the one that finally drove me to try and write my own was actually 'The Fallen Hero' by Redspacekilla116. I love that story and is almost complete I believe by the time I'm writing this story, give this person some praise, becuase he writes amazing stories.]
