Yelena Delverin
It was a pleasant evening. The sky was now assuming a blush pink shade. All she ever wanted to do now is spent the evening by herself. But, suddenly a figure approached, serving as a nuisance to her. "Hola, senora." The Spanish guy spoke.
" Que deseas?" (what do you want) She vexed. it felt like jamais vu. she knew him but could not recall him. "Que quiero? Nada." (What do i want? Nothing.) He replied placidly taking the seat opposite to her which was yet to be offered.
She glared at him in a way that screamed LEAVE. even if he did notice it, he showed no signs of it. Out of the blue, she remembered him. Andres Gonzales. He changed. This much was clear to her. Who knows? Maybe he has again been high in drugs . Because there was no other satisfactory explanation for the mad look he possessed in his eyes. Well, except for one.
Bleary eyes carved in his now gaunt face. " I know you repulse us all. Though, i am not sure of its origin." H e drawled fighting against a yawn. Maybe at this point he should give up on trying to ruin her evening and rather go for a sleep. "At least, your cynicism did not change." she noted.
"The choices you made are implausible." He rather changed the topic. "You, more than anyone, know how much of a pragmatist I am. Don't you, now?" She leaned back in her chair. Suddenly, feeling a sate of ecstasy about having the upper hand in the situation.
He kept quite. He looked at her as if she grew horns. " The choices i make, are rarely based on personal whim. It would only be a matter of time before i prove myself." She retorted. "Or so you like to assume. Do not forget how much i know you." He counter backed. "Vete a la meirda." (I'd rather not translate this.) She rasped.
For someone who just turned up and decided to ruin her mood, he was kind. Maybe he was wasted. "Seguro, adios." (Sure, bye.) He saluted leaving his seat vacant. She felt a call from the distant past- or maybe the wrong doing of her or should she say their past - beckoning her. Tis was exactly when she decided to call it a day.
