Before the Galaxy Garrison, Lance, Pidge Hunk, and Keith were students at the Celestial Academy where they met Callum, a boy with no idea of his past and Tami, the sister of famous Galaxy Garrison cadet Takashi Shirogane. This was how they all met, and all before they became pilots in training. Learning how to work together, and help each other in their lows and highs, made them into the team they soon become. Though with two of the new rookies being silent, it started to cause more mystery and mischief in the group.
