They were supposed to attack in the Celestial realm.

Unfortunately, Azure decided taking them out in Flower Fruit Mountain was a better idea. So with a flash of light and a startled warning, the battle was beginning.

Peng smirked, dodging and weaving the warrior's advancements.

Macaque struck down, pushing against the eagle's wings, "..Is there anything Wukong can do that would break his hold over you?" The bird sent him flying back, "PATHETIC." Macaque landed gracefully, his staff poised and ready. Peng swung down, and Macaque barely blocked his spear.

The warrior's shadow stretched out and Mei climbed out as he smirked at Peng, "Straight up? I have never liked you." Mei turned into a dragon, blasting a beam at the bird.

Peng huffed, "I have never expected a descendant of Ao Lie's to have so much bark. Your bark, however, needs some work!" He soared through the sky as weapons were raised.

A golden sphere revealed Sandy, Pigsy and Tang.

Yellow Tusk appeared before them, the stolen weapons glowing white, "Surrender, mortals. My strength far surpasses your own." Sandy unlocked his strength, looking away, "We don't want to fight you, Mr.Elephant. But..."

Pigsy stood up, "We will if we have to!" The elephant moved to strike, and Tang quickly put up a barrier to protect them, "Please! If we don't stop him--"

"I know full well what will happen should Azure fail, but...but he is my brother." Sandy sighed, "I understand... Really, I do. But what is the point if there is no world to enjoy with those you care about?" Yellow Tusk stared with wide eyes. Tang suddenly gasped, creating a large barrier as scrolls rained down, destroying anything in their path.

Wukong flew frantically with MK firmly grabbing on.

Azure growled, "MK, stand down. You do not need to share the same fate as your mentor." Monkey King gave off an offended gasp, "F-Fuck you too!" MK yelped as Wukong narrowly dodged a barrage of scrolls.

The lion frowned, "Last chance, MK..."

The brunette glared down at Azure, "Never!" He stuck his tongue out, mocking the lion as Wukong cheered. Azure sighed, "Very well."

A scroll was sent their way, and the duo dodged it on separate clouds. Wukong grinned, pointing at MK's cloud, "You c-can do that n-now?!" MK laughed as his hair tossed and turned in the wind, "Yeah!" They weaved along the battlefield, and Wukong managed to land a solid kick, sending the new emperor flying through the air.

The ginger laughed, "Em-bar-assed new emp-er-or?" MK smirked, "Yeah, embarrassed much?!"

Azure growled, "You are an imbecile! To think I onced called you a king!" A roar erupted from the lion, sending the cloud-soarers flying. MK gasped, "Woah-!"

MK and Wukong enlarged the staff, sending it down against Azure. The king glanced down as his subjects collected the bamboo scrolls.

"All good l-liu-ten-ant Monkey?" The small monkey nodded, confirming their status report. A large blast of power washed over them, causing Wukong to look back, 'Ah, that's my cue!'

He caught MK as the brunette fell, "You g-good?" MK nodded, "A lil tired, but yeah, I'm good. So what's next?" Wukong smirked, "We annoy the b-big cat!"

Azure frantically calls forth his powers, "I can do this, I will succeed--" He grows in size as MK creates his Monkey Mech, "Enough games! My patience is at its end!" He tore open the mech, revealing a clone.

Porty MK waved at him cheekily, "Aw, hey bud! Ya wanna piece of this?" Azure looked back, watching as Wukong and Mk mocked him childishly, "You-!"

"Hey, Porty lion!" Azure looked back as the Monkey King cardboard cutout chattered about merchandise as a banana peel was thrown onto the lion's snout. Azure's frown deepened, "I hate monkeys..." The peel detonated, sending him stumbling back.

MK hummed, "Wow, this plan thing is really working out." Wukong hummed, "Yeah!"

Azure gained his footing, glancing down and spotting the pile of scrolls, "NO! If you will not kneel before your emperor, then you will be punished-!" He attempted to attack, but was fortunately blocked off.

Wukong gasped, "Kid!"

MK struggled under him, staring up at the lion. Azure hissed, "After all Sun Wukong has put you through, how much he's let you down, you would still meet your fate trying to protect him?!" MK grinned through clenched teeth, "Sure."

Wukong kicked off one of the lion's claws, "Stop!" He looks down at MK, eyes blown wide, "...kid..?"

"He doesn't deserve such loyalty, yet you insist on learning the hard way, just as I did! I should've never trusted the Monkey King! The False Sage, Equal to Nothing!" A beam of power suddenly knocked Azure away.

MK bared his teeth, "Shut up."

Sandy, Tang and Pigsy stared in awe at the beam of golden power. Yellow Tusk hummed in acknowledgement, his mind running with memories and something new.

Peng glanced away, "Well, this has been fun but I should really go now."

Mei huffed, "What?! Oh, come on! Finish fighting!" Macaque clicked his tongue, "Let them go. They always were the most cowardly of the bunch." The warrior turned, beginning to walk away. Peng yelled, charging forward, "DON'T TURN YOUR BACK ON ME--"

Macaque looked back and smirked.

A shadow kaiju and dragon erupted into the sky, glaring down at the eagle. Another wave of power washed over their heads, "...You're too much trouble. I need to go now." The bird turned and retreated.

Macaque dissipated his form, "Come on, Mei." She nodded, using her dragon form to blast them across the battlefield.

MK smirked, his monkey form in full view, "Hmm. Alright, then!" He swung his tail, sending the giant flying back.

Wukong clapped as he watched, beaming with pride before gasping, "S-crolls!" He turned, picking up the bamboo sticks as another wave of power rained down over the mountain.

Azure gasped, "What is he..?" The lion glanced back, catching MK in his large hand, "Look what he's done to you! Reduced you to a mindless, savage animal!"

The brunette freed himself, forcing Azure's fist open, "Oh, there's nothing mindless about me, friend."

He didn't drop his smile, eyes glowing blindingly, "That's what you were pretending to be, right? My friend? That you care about me?" He inched closer, flashes of power dancing along his fur, "When really, you were just using me to get what you wanted! To turn me against my own mentor!"

He laughed, "Too bad you misjudged everything."

MK rammed his head against the lion's unsheathed sword again and again, "Come on, Uncy Lion! You're the big hero, right?! Then prove it! Show me!" MK dropped into his kaiju form. Its jaws were wide open, blasting Azure with a beam of power that sent him crashing down upon the mountain.

Azure was losing control, that much was evident as chunks of reality snapped and splintered.

"Azure...no..." Yellow Tusk watched with concerned eyes. He was worried for his brother, of course he was. He turned to the three heroes before him, "I know I can fix this. Bring me to the Lotus Prince, quickly!"

Bai He was walking to Pigsy's. She held up her cat, smiling softly.

Cracks suddenly formed along the world around her, causing Bai He to gasp, glancing up. The girl clutched her cat closely, frowning deeply.

Yellow Tusk frowned with determination, "I know how to help. Help me recruit Nezha's aid, we'll need his expertise."

Pigsy, Tang and Sandy nodded, escorting the elephant as they avoided the downpour of volatile magic, using their re-acquired weapons and new armor as they ran.

MK floated beside his mentor as they watched Azure struggle.

Wukong hummed, "Azure. Stop, you are h-hurting the world and yourself." The monkey reached out to his ex-sworn brother, placing his hand against the lion's cheek. Azure swallowed thickly, "I can't control it. I'm sorry."

Wukong suddenly frowned, "No. You j-just wanted to help the w-world. Wait...how are y-you he-re?" The lion blinked in surprise, "The underworld..? You placed me there yourself after imprisoning me--" The monkey waved his hand, "I know that! I m-meant who let you o-out? They kn-ew this was gonna h-happen!"

The lion's eyes widened, "I...I do not know. Only that they are from the underworld."

MK closed his eyes thoughtfully, "...Then we need to block them off. Make sure nobody from down there can do this again." He suddenly smiled at Azure, "We can make sure this never happens again." The brunette reached out a hand, "Azure, we can help you."

"Brother!"

Yellow Tusk and Nezha were on a rack of chains, both of them glowing with seals emitting from them. Wukong and MK grinned, wordlessly seeping their magic into the seals. The lion roared as the emperor's magic exited him, causing him to jerk and tremble.

Wukong pressed his hand against the lion's face, "Steady, A-Azure. Don't give up on u-us!"

A volatile sphere of magic formed, swirling as pink lotus petals encircled it, dragging it in. MK watched in awe as everyone's magic fused together, strengthening the barrier. And soon, only an orb of colorful magic remained.

Azure began to shrink as the world mended, smoothing out any cracks and tears as gravity began to slowly pull them back down.

Yellow Tusk and Wukong were by his side in seconds, helping the lion sit up, "Azure! Never do anything as foolish as that again!" Wukong nodded, "W-What he said!" The lion sniffled before laughing as tears stained his cheeks.

The group joined them, embracing each other as more and more laughter filled the air.
