The Next Morning - Anna's POV

I breath heavily as I bend over on my knees. "How was that?" I ask Legacy.

"Again, your Mother would be ashamed of your speed, your still slow." Legacy says to me and I roll onto my back, trying to get breath back in my lungs. "Stop being a child and get into position again." Legacy says to me sharply.

I point to myself. "Still 12. Still qualified as a kid." I say to her.

She just growls lowly in annoyance. "Up, your thirteen tomorrow." Legacy says to me and I just groan and roll over onto my stomach, groaning as I push myself up. "I'm in so much pain." I groan out.

"Well too bad, now get your ass in gear before I slap your face with my tail, for the millionth time today." Legacy barks at me sternly.

"Fine, fine." I mutter and I roll over onto my stomach and I get into a crouching position.

"Your enemies will mock you this way, but that's good, they'll underestimate you." Legacy says to me and I look in her direction.

I lunge forward with my staff and I sense her move backwards and I push off the ground with one hand, flipping me so my feet are going towards her and she dodges to the right, I place one foot on the ground and I push forward again and she jumps on my back mid air and I twist as she jumps and I hit her square in the stomach and she hits the ground as I land on my hand and I push and jump onto my feet and lunge at her as she gets up.

"That's good, keep going." Legacy says to me encouragingly.

I quicken my steps as I sense her move and I make one final lunge before I tackle her to the ground.

"That's better, now we can take a break." Legacy says to me and whimpers.

I look in her direction worried. "Did I hit you too hard? I'm sorry." I say to her clearly worried.

"I was you enemy at that point in time, you have to attack with the intent to kill if your going to beat your opponent, your far too kind." Legacy snaps irritated at me.

I get up, taking my staff with me and I smile at her. "Fear and kindness are two things that make me who I am, I'm afraid that I'll lose the kindness I hold dear, since its precious that I even have it, after my sight being taken away, being sent out of a village I had called my home and made friends there, having my parents killed, being brought to the leaf to be treated as an outcast, constantly have people scorning me for being a ninja with a disability, not being able to help much as my village was destroyed by Orochimaru, I have every right to be bitter and hateful, right? Like Sasuke? I don't want to be that way, because without my kindness, I wouldn't have my temper. My fear, my kindness and my temper, those are make me, exactly who I am, I don't want to change and I don't need to change anyways." I say to her without losing my smile. I can feel her shock as I turn around. "I have to go, Naruto will worry if I'm gone for too long." I say to her and she only hums.

She teleports me back to the village we were at and someone runs smack into me.

"Anna!" Naruto yells hugging the life out of me.

"I'm, already in bad shape from training with Legacy, I'm gonna die if you hug me, any tighter." I say to him, slowly losing life.

"Ah! Sorry!" He yells letting go and I fall to ground with a groan.

"Ow." I groan.

"Ah! Sorry!" He yells picking me up and setting me on my feet.

"I'm fine Naruto, just, stop, just stop." I say as I steady myself and I clip my staff to my back.

I sense a warmness from Naruto, like he's grinning, or smiling at least.

"Thank god your ok." Naruto says to me and I just give him a half amused smile, while the other half is smiling because he's an idiot.

I follow Naruto as he talks and I feel a warmness from him as he does so, he's relieved and happy I'm here, so he's most likely grinning like an idiot.

Naruto, for as long as you never lose that smile, I have hope that you'll become great and change this world for the better. I have complete faith and trust you in, so don't disappoint me.

A small smile makes its way onto my face as I listen to Naruto ramble.

We get to what feels like a beat up area and I sit down by a tree.

I listen to Naruto as he trains and I doze off after a while.

"Hey, hey, hey." Someone says while poking my cheek.

I stir slightly and I look in Naruto's direction.

"I just thought of something." Naruto says to me and I yawn.

"Stop thinking, your brain will hurt too much." I say to him tiredly.

"What if Granny Tsunade can cure your blindness." Naruto says to me and I can tell he's grinning.

I just sit back against the tree. "Naruto, I"

"She is renowned as the best Medical Ninja ever right?" Naruto asks me excited.

"Yes." I say slowly.

"Then she can fix your eyes." Naruto says to me.

"Naruto, you know it doesn't work like that, right?" I ask him in a gentle tone.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Naruto asks me.

"I've been blind for almost 13 years Naruto, its not as simple as you think it is, I'm not sure this can be cured. The infection was stopped before it could spread to my ears and my throat, its gone, but it left me sightless and the Sand Medical Ninja I saw said it was permanent, I even went to the Leaf Hospital after I got here to see and they said the same thing." I say to him quietly.

"But you can't give up, you have to see the world." Naruto says to me and I smile.

"Naruto, I know you want to help me, but I like being blind." I say to him with a smile.

"What? But, your always running into things and you complain about things being in the way." Naruto says to me.

"I'm gonna be a klutz either way Naruto, I don't mind being blind, it seperates me from everyone else, it makes me who I am." I say to him and I can tell he's shocked. "I don't want to be like everyone else and have sight, it'll just make me blind to people." I say to him with a closed eyed smile.

He hugs me all of a sudden I pet his head, making him content as he lays across my lap.

"Your the best sister in the world." Naruto says to me and I just smile warmly.

"I'm your sister?" I ask him.

"Of course!" Naruto exclaims and I smile happily as he hugs me. "Your my sister! Sasuke is my brother even if I don't like him and Sakura likes him, so"

"We're one family with Kakashi as our Dad." I say and Naruto's feelings get warmer.

"Exactly!" Naruto exclaims. "And I want to bring our family together, Granny Tsunade has to heal Sasuke and Kakashi-Sensei, so I have to win this bet." Naruto says getting up.

"Right, I should continue training as well, I've taken a long enough break." I say as I sense a seriousness from Naruto.

He's serious, he really wants to save them. Alright Naruto, you win, I'll help you bring Tsunade to the village. Even if she's an idiot.

I do the necessary hand signs as Naruto gets back to work and I summon Mint.

"Finally, now, what are we doing?" Mint asks me.

"Tai-Jutsu training." I say to her.

"Transformation Juts then?" Mint asks in a cool tone.

"Yeah." I say to her and I hear a poof a moment later.

"WHAT?" Naruto yells shocked.

"What?" I ask.

"Your fox just turned into a human, she's got green hair with green eyes!" Naruto yells shocked.

I giggle while Mint laughs. "Its the transformation Jutsu, dummy." Mint says to him.

Me and Mint walk off to the side and we start Tai-Jutsu training and after a few hours, I crash land onto the ground.

"Woman down! Woman down!" Mint calls laughing.

I groan. "I'm dead." I say as I go limp.

"Well then, I'll just jump on you." Mint says to me and tries, but I roll left and right as she tries jumping on me.

I sense Naruto start falling and I run and catch him quickly before he hits the ground, but I fall as well.

"Nice catch." Mint says to me surprised.

"Thanks." I say and I crawl out from under Naruto and I sit down on my butt and I take a break as Mint turns back into a fox and lays across my lap.

I stay up for the night, watching over Naruto, well, more like Mint watching and I'm ready to fight if need be.

Over the course of the next three days Naruto and train, him on his Rasengan Jutsu and me with my Fox Tai-Jutsu.

"Again." Mint says to me as I lay on my stomach, she moved at the last second and my hand was a bitch and didn't flip me, only cushioned my fall.

"This sucks." I complain as I sit up, moving my wrist since it hurts.

"What?" Mint asks.

"I was trying to flip and land but my hand gave out at the last second and I fell." I say to her and she sighs.

"Well get used to it, I'm faster than Legacy due to being younger, so I move faster than her. Now get into position again." Mint says to me.

I pull some bandages out of my pouch and I take my fingerless glove off, I wrap my wrist, trying to give it some support to stop hurting. I then put my bandages away and I put my glove back on.

I get back into position and I do it all over again. Each time she moves and moves and I'm either falling or landing on my back from slipping or falling on my stomach or face.

"I'm done." I say irritated and in pain.

"Work through it." Mint says to me sternly.

"Just give me a break, I'm practically dying here." I say to her.

I hear Naruto thud and then racing steps.

I get up and I walk over and sense Shizune there, worried.

I sense her pick Naruto up and I follow with Mint tagging along.

"I'm gonna be in trouble aren't I?" I mutter to Mint.

"Who knows." Mint says to me as she wraps her tail around my wrist.

We end up in a hotel room and Tsubade tells us that Naruto just used too much chakra.

I sit next to Naruto on his bed with Mint at his head.

"You look beat up." Tsunade comments to me.

I just smile. "Training is a bitchy pain in the ass, or in this case, my wrist, face, and stomach." I say and Mint just hums happily.

"I kicked her ass." Mint says to her and I roll my eyes.

"Let me see your wrist." Tsunade says to me and I shake my head.

"My wrist will be fine, its probably just a small sprain that'll heal over night." I say to her, but she takes my hand and presses on my wrist and I wince.

"Simple sprain?" Tsunade asks annoyed.

"Whatever." I say as I take my wrist back.

She sighs in annoyance.

I sense her leave but not before knocking Shizune out.

I lay back against the back bored and I fall asleep.
