Anna's POV

I stumble out of bed and I smack face first into a wall.

"Ow, how am I supposed to be a ninja if I can't be aware if my surroundings?" I mutter annoyed and I place my hand on the wall and I feel my way into my bathroom and I manage to shower and change into my normal attire.

"Hey Anna!" I hear that familiar cheery voice yell outside my apartment door.

I walk to the door while holding onto the wall and I open it. "Naruto, help me." I say and he laughs.

"You say that every morning." Naruto says to me and I can tell he's probably grinning.

"I just moved in to this apartment, I have no idea where I'm going." I say to him.

Naruto laughs. "No worries Anna! I'll help you. Now come on, get your shoes on, we have to head to the Academy, its the testing day." Naruto says to me and I smile.

"Thanks Naruto." I say and he holds my arm as I put my sandals on so he can help me keep my balance.

I follow the sound of his voice as he talks about Ramen all the way to the academy and I laugh at his enthusiasm. One we get there we head into the room and I sit in my normal seat which is away from the fan-girls attention.

"ANNA!" The girls yell.

I wasn't able to escape their sight today. This sucks.

I rest my cheek on my fist as they rush over to me and I can hear them, they sound like a herd of elephants.

I look in their direction even though I can't see them. The only people who know I'm sightless, are the Hokage, Iruka and Naruto. Mainly because if anybody else knew, I'd be voted out of the academy instantly and I really want to become a ninja.

I sigh as they ask about a million questions that I can't decipher apart.

"Why don't you calm down?" I ask them. "And speak one at a time please, I can't understand you." I say to them.

"Why did you come into class with Naruto today?" Ino asks me.

I raise an eyebrow. "You make it sound like it's the worse thing in the world, we're neighbors and best friends." I say to her.

"Oh." She says dumbly.

"Alright everyone, settle down, and too your seats." Iruka says to everyone. "Today is testing day, so when I call your name, you'll follow me into the next room and you'll make three clones, once your done, head outside and greet your parents and you'll be free to go for the day, but come back tomorrow to be placed on your teams." Iruka says to us and I can tell he's looking at something. "Anna, your up first." Iruka says to me.

I nod and I get up and I walk out the door.

I hold onto the wall as we walk to the next room.

Once we get inside the room I hear Iruka sit down and I feel another presence in the room, a slightly evil presence.

"Anna, this is Mizuki, he's the other proctor of this test." Iruka says to me in a kind tone.

I nod. "Hello Mizuki." I say with a closed eyed smile.

"Alright, let's get on with the test, make three clones." Iruka says to me and I nod.

I do the hand signs with one extra sign and I can feel the shock from both proctors. "Water Clone Jutsu." I say and three of me appear.

"Just as expected, your very talented Anna, here." Iruka says getting up and handing me my village head band and I smile in thanks before I find my way outside.

I put my hands behind my back as I wait by mine and Naruto's tree and after a while he comes out and I sense sadness from him.

"Naruto." I greet with a closed eyed smile and he looks up at me.

"Anna, you stayed here? Even though you got your headband?" Naruto asks me.

"Yeah, well I can't find my way back to my place with out you since your basically my guide there." I say and I can tell a smile appeared on his face since he seems warmer than before.

Mizuki talks to Naruto and I stand there confused as Naruto leaves with Mizuki.

Oh well, I'll try finding my way back to my apartment. This is gonna be a hassle.

After an hour of aimlessly walking, I finally make it to my apartment and I'm starving.

I walk in to my apartment only to feel two chakra's in it and I grab my staff next to the door and I creep into my bedroom.

"Who's in here?" I ask.

"Anna." The Hokage says to me.

"So this is her?" I hear an unknown voice belonging to a sleepy, disinterested older male and he sounds to be in his late twenties.

"Gramps, who else is in my apartment?" I ask the Hokage.

"You'll know who he is tomorrow." Gramps says to me and then their two chakra's are gone.

I set my staff down and I just walk to the kitchen while holding on to the wall to find my way there.

"I hate this new apartment! Why can't it be as simple as my old one?" I ask in annoyance as my eye twitches.

I make myself ramen in a cup and I sit at my table eating it.

I hear a knock at me door and I nearly jump.

That scared me.

I walk to the door and I open it.

"Anna."

I look right at Shikamaru as he yawns. "Shikamaru." I greet. "What are you doing here?" I ask and I hear crunching. "And Choji is here too." I say to them.

"Have you seen Naruto?" Shikamaru asks me.

Not like I can see anything.

I raise an eyebrow. "No, he was doing something with Mizuki last I checked." I say to them.

"Thanks." Shikamaru says and leaves and I shut the door.

I go back to the kitchen and I finish my ramen before I hear a siren go off in the village.

I walk out of my apartment as I feel chakras run past it.

The Next Day

I sit in the academy ignoring Naruto as he tries apologizing to me.

"Jerk." I say to him and he sulks.

"I'm sorry!" Naruto cries.

I snort and ignore him.

I hear Iruka come in and he gives a speech of how proud he is of us and he starts listing teams.

"Team 7, Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno" Iruka gets cut off by Naruto cheering and Sakura sulking. "Sasuke Uchiha" Then the opposite happens between Naruto and Sakura, this time Naruto sulks and Sakura cheers. "And Anna Ward." Iruka finishes.

At least someone will help me on this team.

I just nod and the teams finish getting announced and then lunch is called.

Naruto continues apologizing to me.

After lunch we wait forever when a guy walks in with the same chakra as the guy from yesterday.

I look up and I can tell he's looking at us.

I grab my staff and I get up. "Its you!" I say to him and he chuckles with what seems to be nervousness.

"Well, my first impression of you all, is your a bunch of idiots, meet me at the roof." He says and his chakra vanishes.

I walk out of the room knowing my way to the roof easily and I get there, ignoring Naruto and I sit down on the railing next to the steps.

"Your all here." He says to us. "Well, let's start with introductions. Raven girl." He says to us disinterested.

"What are we supposed to say Sensei?" Sakura asks and I nearly hit my head with my staff.

"Your name, likes, dislikes, hobbies, dreams." He says to us. "Now, Raven Girl."

"Why don't you go first Sensei." Naruto says to him.

"Me? Oh, I'm Kakashi Hatake, my likes and dislikes are none of your business, my hobbies, I have lots of hobbies and my dreams, never really thought about it, now, Raven Girl." Kakashi says to us.

I look at his direction confused as to why he is so persistent. "My name is Anna Ward, I have my likes and dislikes, I don't have any particular hobbies and my dream is really none of a disinterested Sensei's business, not to mention such a persistent one as well when he wants to know something or is it to hurry this session up so he can go back to doing whatever he wants?" I ask and I sense shock from Kakashi and I nod. "So that was it." I say and he clears his throat.

"OO! ME NEXT!" Naruto yells excitedly.

He and the other two do their introductions and what not.

"Alright, be at Training Ground 7 at 5 am and don't eat breakfast or you'll puke." Kakashi says to us and I look at him unamused and also slightly confused.

I get up as he talks to the others about a test and I whack Kakashi on the head with my staff. "There, I'm happy now." I say and he groans as I walk to the door with a simple shrug and I can feel shock from the four of them. "Never come into my house without permission again Sensei, or you'll get more than just a whack on the head." I say and I head down stairs to run smack into a wall and I stumble backwards and I land on my behind. "Forgot, there is a wall there, ow, my forehead." I say as I get up and I rub my forehead slightly as I walk down the hallways.

Naruto runs to catch up with me and I just roll my eyes as he talks as I ignore him and I head to a training ground where I work on using my staff to attack a tree.

Even though I can't see, I can still fight, it isn't hard for me to track a body in front of me, if I know they're moving.

Someone grabs my staff and I switch my hand position and I flip my staff with whoever grabbed it and I hear a small groan.

"Give me a break, did you not see me or something?"

I recognize the voice of Sasuke and I hit him with the staff and I hold my staff behind my neck as I wait for him to get up. "What are you doing here? Can't you see I'm a bit busy training?" I ask him.

"Your different from everyone else. I want to know why." Sasuke says to me.

"How so?" I ask him.

"You never look anyone directly into the eyes, you constantly hit things like you didn't even see them and you always spar in a weapon fight with that staff. Its like your blind or something." Sasuke says to me.

"I don't have to answer to you." I say to Sasuke.

"That's another thing, your not one of my fan-girls, that's strange because every girl in the academy loves me." Sasuke says to me in annoyance.

"You Uchiha were always narcissistic, just because a girl doesn't like you, doesn't make her strange, she just has a different taste in men." I say to him and he growls in annoyance.

"Why do I even waste my time on you?" Sasuke asks annoyed.

"Yes why do you even bother with me? I'm just a no one." I say and I sense shock from him at my words. "After all, if I was someone, you would have known who I was before teams were announced. You never paid attention to anyone in class, so why give me attention now and not Sakura or Naruto, our other teammates?" I ask him calmly and I turn around and walk to the path. "Not like it even matters anyway, you Uchiha are confusing idiots anyways." I say and I walk out of the training ground leaving a dumbfounded Sasuke behind.

I get lost again as I try finding my apartment and after an hour I find my way there because I hear Naruto yelling in his apartment.

I roll my eyes at how childish he is and I make myself ramen.

How I'm even able to make this is because I can feel how much hot water I'm putting in by placing my hand on the cup and the other hand pours and I can feel the heat rising in the cup.

Once I finish eating, I head to bed.
