"Is this one yours?" the figure stands with someone -someone I know- tied around their ankles.

"Yeah," I say, seeing, Patrick? Payton?

"VIRGIL," Patton squeals, he runs over and hugs me, I lose my balance and we fall to the floor.

"Patton you're not a dog," the figure in the door says crossing his arms, I sit up as Patton sits and looks at him.

"I could be a cat?" Patton stands up, "Oh! Right! Virgil and room-mate of Virgil, this is my room-mate Logan,"

"Pleasure to meet you," Logan nods, "Please look after him while I read, he keeps trying to cover me in handmade jewelry," Roman snorts.

"Is there something funny?" Logan asks, Roman shakes his head and Logan turns and leaves shutting the door behind him.

"Well, that was... um," I get lost in words.

"Weird? Unpredictable?" Roman says, I nod at him.

"Thank you," I turn to Patton who's looking at my books.

"Logan has some of these," Patton looks around the room, "your other books are way out of his taste," he chuckles.

"What did you do for him to kick you out?" I ask stunned that Patton was kicked out of his own room.

"Like he said, I was trying to cover him in handmade jewelry, Oh! That reminds me," Patton shoves his hand into his pocket and pulls out a necklace, there was a storm cloud with a bolt of purple light hanging on the chain.

"It's for you," he says, I see Roman, out of the corner of my eye, staring.

"What?" I asked surprised, Patton sits behind me.

"Here," he puts the necklace around my neck and straighten the chain.

"Thank you," I turn to him rubbing the pendant with my thumb, Patton looks up at Roman.

"I'll make you one if you want," he says cheerily, I turn to look at my room-mate, he nods and turns to his phone.

"Okay I'm gonna go now kiddos, Logan can't kick me out of my room every day, and Virgil,"

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Come sit with us at lunch, please?" Patton asks, I nod, "K see you there," I wave as he leaves the room.

"I'm gonna sleep," Roman says.

"See if I care," I still a little annoyed at him, but I lie back and close my eyes.
