Note: This is the song Virgil performs. Wait to play it

"Wait, this is your apartment complex?" Logan asks.
"Yea, why?" Virgil responds.
"This is Patton's and I's apartment complex as well," Logan replies.
"Really? How have we not seen each other before?" Virgil asks, confused.
"What floor do you live on?" Logan asks in response.
"The one above the lobby. The first floor with apartments," Virgil states.
"That might be why. I live on the 6th floor of the building," Logan says.
"Makes sense," Virgil says walking toward the door.
Logan follows him inside. Together they walk to the elevator and get in.
"I guess this is where we part ways," Virgil says once the elevator reaches the first floor.
"I'll see you at 7:00," Logan says.
"See you then," Virgil says, giving Logan a two-finger salute while walking out of the elevator.
Logan heads to his own apartment to pass the time and get ready.
A few hours later Virgil exits his apartment wearing a black suit, with a purple waistcoat and white shirt underneath. He has on a nice purple bow tie that matches his waistcoat. He has his hoodie with him for comfort, in a bag he's taking with. He walks out of the complex and to the café in his sneakers. Once he gets to the café, he switches his sneakers for a pair of dress shoes. He walks inside exactly 5 minutes before 7. He goes over and sits down at the piano which was brought out for him earlier. Virgil places his bag by his feet then opens the piano.
Virgil looks out over the small café. He knows he's overdressed for such a small gig, but he doesn't care. He treats every gig as if they're big and special because to him every gig is special. He notices Logan and the others in the small crowd.
Once Patton notices him looking at them, he gives Virgil a big grin and waves excitedly. Virgil chuckles and gives Patton a small wave in return. Roman gives Virgil a thumbs up and winks. Virgil rolls his eyes at the soloist. Logan gives a small smile and mouths good luck to Virgil. Virgil smiles and nods then turn back to the piano.
"7 o'clock. It's time," Virgil thinks. He takes a deep breath and readies his hands to play. He places his hands on the keys starting the song. He's playing the song "Sinnerman" by Nina Simone. His eyes close as he gets lost in the music.
Everyone is silent as Virgil plays. The three who were sitting with him just a few hours before were stunned at his talent. Remy smirks as he watches their amazing faces. There's a silence that engulfs the café when Virgil finishes. After a second of Virgil sitting anxiously in front of the crowd, cheers erupted filling the entire café.
Virgil stands up and bows wincing a little from the loud cheers and high pitched whistles. As the cheers die down, the others make their way to Virgil as he finished switching his shoes back to sneakers and he's taking off his suit jacket.
"Another great performance, Virge," Remy says.
"That was amazing!" Patton exclaims.
"That was certainly... impressive," Roman says,
still, a bit shocked by the performance.
"Well done Virgil," Logan says.
"Thanks, " Virgil mumbles rubbing the back of his neck embarrassed.
"Now you must show me the music for that piece. I've got to see if I can convert it to guitar," Roman states.
"Sorry, I'd have to get the music from my apartment," Virgil says.
"You... did that without music?" Logan questions.
"Um, yea," Virgil says timidly.
Roman is left speechless at the fact. He stammers, wide eyed, in dismay.
Virgil and Remy chuckle at the soloist's response.
"That's amazing!" Patton exclaims.
"It is quite impressive," Logan states.
"It's nothing that spectacular," Virgil says embarrassed by the praise.
"You don't give yourself enough credit," Remy says.
"Hey, I've got an idea. Why don't you guys come over and hang at my place for a bit?" Roman suggests.
"What for?" Logan asks.
"Well, to hang out, celebrate Virgil's awesome performance, and our new friendship," Roman says happily.
"Are you sure? We've barely known each other a few hours," Virgil asks skeptically.
"Of course I am! It's also a perfect opportunity to get to know each other better," Roman states.
"Wish I could join, but I gotta finish up here," Remy says.
"Aw! Maybe another time then..." Patton says pausing to try and think of the barista's name.
"Remy. Remy Slenet," Remy introduces.
"I'm Patton Kimpley and it's very nice to meet you," Patton says.
"I am Logan Eloess," Logan says.
"I'm Virgil," Virgil says pausing nervously for a second before saying his last name, "Volanx."
"And I'm Roman Kingsley," Roman says.
"Kingsley? I thought your last name was Prince," Patton says.
"It's a stage name," Roman responds.
"Wait, did you says Kinsley or Kingsley?" Virgil asks.
"Kingsley," Roman replies.
"A-Alright," Virgil says.
"Is something wrong?" Logan asks.
"No. I just remember someone with the last name Kingsley. Probably just a coincidence," Virgil says. "But I'm not so sure it is," he finishes in his head.
"Oh, alright," Logan says.
"Can you describe this other person?" Roman asks.
"It's nothing Roman," Virgil says. "Definitely not just a coincidence," he thinks.
Roman looks like he's about to argue when Patton jumps in.
"If we're going to hang out we should probably get going. It'll be getting dark soon," Patton says.
"Patton's right. We should get going before it gets too late, unless you wish to postpone the gathering until tomorrow," Logan says.
"No, no. I still want to hang tonight, that is unless you all would rather wait until tomorrow," Roman says.
"I'm fine with tonight. I just have to stop by my apartment to change out of this suit," Virgil says.
"I don't mind since it's a Friday," Logan says.
"I don't ever have a problem with hanging out," Patton says.
"Show me where your place is, so I can find it after I change," Virgil says.
"Follow me," Roman says heading for the door.
"See ya, babes," Remy says.
"Bye, Rem," Virgil says following Roman.
"Adios," Roman says as he exits the building.
"Good bye," Logan says as he follows Virgil and Roman.
"It was nice meeting you, Remy," Patton says with a wave before following the others.
As they walk Virgil and Logan quickly recognize the route they're taking.
"Hey, Roman?" Virgil asks.
"Yea?" Roman responds.
"Do you by any chance love at the Harmony Hill Apartment Complex?" Virgil asks.
"Why, yes! How did you know?" Roman says.
"Cause I live there too, and I walk this path nearly everyday," Virgil replies.
"Wait, Harmony Hill? I love there too!" Patton says.
"It seems we all live in the same building," Logan says.
"What floor do you live on and what apartment number is it?" Virgil asks.
"Top floor, apartment number 100," Roman replies.
"I live on the 1st floor with apartments. Apartment number 5," Virgil says.
"I live on the 7th floor in apartment number 64," Patton says.
"And I live in the 7th floor in apartment number 43," Logan says.
They enter the apartment building and walk into the elevator. Virgil presses the button for the 1st floor while Roman presses the button for the 10th. Quickly the elevator dings alerting Virgil that he's at his floor.
"I'll see y'all in a few minutes," Virgil says as he exits the elevator.
The elevator doors shut behind him as it continues it's way to the top.
Virgil sighs as he walks to his apartment. He pulls out his keys unlocking and opening the door. He enters his house and puts his keys on the small table on his left. Looking to his left, he sees a clock on the wall that reads 7:30. "Normally after a performance I'd already be chilling right about now unless I decided to hang with Remy," Virgil thinks as he closes the door behind him and drops his bag. He moves to the hall closet on his right. He opens the door and grabbed an empty hanger putting up the suit jacket. He closes the closet door picking up his bag as he heads to his bedroom.
Virgil enters his room turning left to go to closet. He grabs a purple longsleeve nightmare before Christmas shirt. He goes and sets his bag and the shirt on his bed. He careful he takes off his dress shirt to reveal his slightly defined form. He puts the new shirt on and the one he was previously wearing in his hamper by his bathroom door. He then goes to his dresser to get a pair of black ripped jeans. He changes into them then fold the dress pants and put them on top of his dresser. He walks back to his bed and unzips the previously discarded bag. He grabs his hoodie from inside and puts it on.
Satisfied with his outfit, Virgil heads to his bathroom to check on his make up. He looks at himself in the mirror. He looks at his black hair dyed purple at the top. He runs a hand through the longer part. He then looks at his pale complexion made paler by his white foundation. He glances at his hazel eyes and the dark eyeshadow underneath them. He grabs his eyeshadow pallet touching up the make up. Content with his look, he puts the make up away.
Virgil takes one last glance in the mirror before exiting the bathroom through the door to the hall. He walks to his music room and grabs his headphones from his desk and puts them around his neck. He also grabs the sheet music Roman had asked for earlier folding it and puts it in his pocket. He then turns around and heads for the kitchen to unplug his phone and pocket it. Then he grabs his keys from the table by the door and looks at the clock again to see it's now 7:45. He exits the apartment and locks the door behind him. He walks toward the elevator and waits a few minutes for it to arrives. Once it returns, he gets in and presses the button for the 10th floor. He waits for the elevator to make it to its destination.
The elevator dings and the doors open. Virgil exits and looks for Roman's apartment. Once he finds it, he knocks on the door and waits for an answer.
