Moonlight 

She watched the moonlight

dance on her blood-stained skin,

and thought.

She let herself feel

the tears and wondered. 

She let herself feel just ounce pain,

and pondered.

'Maybe this numbness is a gift.'

But no one would ever know as when the sun rose she did not, her necklace of hope holding her down. 

Another Silenced Scream 

Her entire existence  screamed to be heard 

and loved,

 but the universe was  a master of destruction. 

Liar, Liar.
