5 pm

I showered got dressed, put on faint make-up and did my hair before looking at my phone. Sighing I thought about Nia's and I fight, in a rush, I grabbed my bag and checked my hair once more before walking down the stairs. As I was about to walk out the door. "Lilith come in here!" Elijah ordered.

Making my hand into a fist I took deep breathes before walking in. Just by his tone, I could tell he wanted to fight. "You going now?" Brandon asked and I nodded.

"Well, you best text him that something came up," Nia said with a cold tone.

"I won't be going any of the sort." I retorted.

"Maybe you shouldn't go...", Annaya started twiddling her thumbs.

"You too." I sighed.

"You will not go," Elijah said speaking down to me as if I was a child.

I turned to him annoyed, "Why not?" I asked.

"Nearly everyone is against it." He replied.

"What about what I want doesn't that matter to anyone. Why the fuck am I being treated like a doll? One minute you want me to secure him the next, I need to back off. You all tell me to go out more and when I want to, you tell me to stay in does that make sense?" I looked at every one of them with anger in my eyes.

"Angel you are breaking a relationship," Nia yelled.

"For gang members, you sure do have good morals. Right now all you guys are doing is taking away my freedom. I didn't want to be a part of this world you guys forced me and on top off that you removed all living hope of me away from that world and now I'm the bad guy... "

For gang members, they had a lot they thought was wrong

"You know what never mind, never fucking mind another thing I need to worry about later not right now." I turned on my heel unlocked the front door and walked away. The taxi I had called was waiting down the road after telling him my location. My head was aching as I put in my earphones and started out the window letting my music emerge me.

The moment I arrived at the restaurant the smell of food hit me. I texted Kurume unsure whether he was inside or not.

Lilith: Hey I'm here

Kurume: Tell the waiter you're meeting me

I walked up to a waiter "Excuse me I'm here to meet Kurume." I said politely.

"This way miss," He began to lead me up blocks stairs on the rooftop I saw Kurume dressed in a black cap and shirt and light blue jeans.

The rooftop was empty it was only us two and a cute rose was in the middle of the table. "Hey," He said when he saw me. "You look nice."

"You don't look so bad yourself." I smiled as he pulled my chair out for me. "Thank you,"

When he sat down he handed me a menu. The scenery around us was beautiful I stared at the sky which was nearing sunset entranced, we had a perfect view. "Do you like it?" He asked.

"Yeah, it's beautiful," I replied.

"It sure is," He said looking at me.

"What you ordering?" He asked with a smile.

"Spaghetti and ice cream for dessert," I replied with a small smile.

He called the waiter over and told him our orders. "What would you like to drink?" He asked us.

"I feel like having a bottle of champagne, what do you think?" I asked with a suggestive tone.

"Sound perfect," Kurume replied the waiter wrote it down and left.

"So what did you want to tell me?" I asked.

"Remember you're the one who wanted to meet." He said pointing at me with an accusing finger and a cheeky smile.

"Yeah but you texted me first," I replied.

"Well... I wanted to tell you we really hit it off last night bit should stay friends." He said looking deep into my eyes searching for a reaction.

"That's fine tell me what happened last night," I said resting my chin my hands.

"What with me and my girlfriend?" He responded.

"Well yeah, but from when you left the club," I said with an intrigued tone.

"I left in a hurry cause of some of my friends needing help, quite personal." He smiled.

"Sorry please, you don't have to talk about miss that part."

"Well my girlfriend was at my door waiting for me when I got back and one thing led to another and we got back together." He said looking into my eyes.

"Congrats, hope it lightened up your day."

"You already had but yeah made a good day better." My heart involuntary skipped a beat.

"She does know your here with me?" I asked as the waiter came in with our food.

"Yeah don't worry she's cool with it." I nodded in response.

I thanked the waiter for the food to which he bowed and walked away after opening our champagne. I immediately began to dig into my spaghetti it was so good a small moan escaped my lips.

Kurume let out a chuckle "So I see, I mean hear you're enjoying your food."

"Yeah, I am thanks for a lovely evening." I smiled at him admiring the sight of the sun setting.

"Reminds me of the Lady and the Trap." He said seductively.

"Huh, so you want the other side of my spaghetti? I would but I'm hungry so no spaghetti kisses." I laughed.

"You're something else." He sighed looking at me amused.

"And you called yourself a tramp," I smirked.

"I guess I did." He poured me some champagne into my glass and then poured himself some. "I can't drink a lot I'm driving,"

"To our one glass," I said gently clinking my glass against his before having a sip. We then continued quietly with our meals and waited for dessert.

"Are you single?" He asked resting his chin on his right palm.

"Wow trying to make conversation?" I asked leaning in slightly and stealing his cap and placing it on my head.

"Yeah just so we don't have awkward silences." He shrugged.

"You gonna ignore the fact I stole your cap?" I smiled.

"Yep cause you look cute," He replied looking at me with a smile which made butterflies appear in my stomach.

"Thanks, about awkward silences I don't have that I only have comfortable one's. I'm not feeling awkward. I'm comfortable to the point I can be silent and just enjoy someone else's presence but yeah I'm single just recently had a break-up." I said trying not to take much notice of the comment before.

Though I'm sure it was evident

"Years right?" He asked.

"What makes you say that?" I reply defensively.

"That reaction but feel free to answer my question," He chuckled.

"Yeah years which apparently didn't mean to much but it is what it is and time carries on it's my choice whether I stay frozen or move on with it," I said drinking more of my champagne.

"You're intelligent and beautiful." He smiled once again his hazel eyes filling with colour.

"Thank you, you're good company been a while since someone appreciated my smarts."

"Why wouldn't I?" He questioned. He was so sweet to the point at that moment I wanted to forget everything I had said before and connect our lips.

"I need to quickly go to the restroom," I excused myself.

"Alone?" He asked with a smirk.

"Yes, alone you weirdo I don't see a group of girls to go with," I said lightly slapping him on his shoulder.

"Ouch," He complained.

"Oh please, my hand grazed your arm," I said with a small laugh before taking off.

In the bathroom, I added some mascara to my eyelashes and opened my phone to see 15 missed calls from Annaya. Suddenly, having the same feeling of worry wash over me like that day I had so many from my dad I called her back fearing the worst. The first time, no answer none for the second either. Fear was consuming me as I called for the third time to which she answered.

"Hello Angel," Annaya said through the phone.

"Annaya are you okay? What's up?" I asked.

"Nothing really just wanted to check up on you and ask you to get me some ice cream and chocolate bars from the store on the way back and crisps." Relief washed over me as I hung up on her.

But 15 missed calls really

I came out and saw Kurume on his phone. He was so fucking attractive, don't get me wrong I knew that from the moment I was given his profile. But I don't know what it was but the way his features looked handsome without him even trying. His dark eyes were complemented by his dark hair and his smile was adorable. In awe, I stood there senseless looking at him surrounded by the night sky and sparkling stars.

The waiter saying excuse me interrupted my daze and I walked to the table and sat down. "Thank you," Kurume said to the waiter. "Everything okay with you kitten?" He asked me.

"Yeah, dessert looks nice thanks for tonight nice to get out every once in a while."

"Maybe we could do this again sometime," He replied with a smile.

"Maybe," I replied before eating a spoon full of my ice cream.

We finished and I took out my purse "What are you doing?" Kurume asked.

"Paying my half," I replied.

"No no no, you don't have to do that," Kurume said rejecting my cash.

"But I want to," I protested with a pout.

"I already paid anyways so please kitten put the purse away." He said holding in a laugh.

I placed my purse into my bag, "My treat next time then," I smiled

To which he smiled "Next time," We began walking down the stairs, "How are you getting home?"  He asked.

"Cab, you?" I asked.

"Driving, you sure you don't want a lift?"

"Yeah, I'm sure thanks though?" I took my mask out of my bag and put it on.

Kurume looked at me something about that gesture had thrown him off guard he spun me around so my back had slammed against the walk. I winced in pain before staring into his eyes.

What was with the sudden attitude change?

I was almost scared his eyes turned dark as he examined my eyes. I removed my mask "What's wrong?" I asked angrily.

"Your eyes look familiar." He said coldly.

"Really maybe cause most people have brown eyes." I retorted my back aching slightly.

"What's with the mask?" He questioned.

"Around this hour people like to smoke and it'll trigger my asthma and I don't carry an inhaler around." I said pushing him away from me "But what's up with you?" I stared into his eyes his icy gaze not leaving my angry one, neither backing down.

After a while he removed his gaze as if he had just realised something, "Sorry Lilith, it's just..."

"No forget it, it doesn't matter, bye Kurume," I said cutting him off.

I walked down the blocks of stairs and out of the restaurant. Trying to find the main road I ended up taking a wrong turn to a road I didn't remember passing. A  group of men were smoking and drinking, with haste I turned around and put on my mask. I began to walk the way I came from when I heard footsteps following me. I picked up the pace to which they did too.

"Babe, you lost?" One called loudly.

I sighed and continued walking but the yelling continued but began to sound aggressive I began to run. After rummaging through my bag I found I didn't have my gun. Shaking slightly I took out my phone and went to speed dial.

 Kurume

I called him one beep two beeps three, I placed my phone in my handbag whether he answered or not made little difference now I would have to fight in hand to hand combat.

Why?

In a panic, I had taken a wrong turn and now I was on a road that was a dead end and the only way out was to fight.

"So honey seems like you're a little stuck," One of them said to which the rest laughed. I took a deep breath and turned and charged towards them and began to kick and punch roll and duck with all my might I managed to take 3 down in no time at all.

"To the floor babe," One man said pointing a gun at me somehow he had ended up behind me. So two men were in front of me and one behind me pointing a gun at my head.

Never thought I would be part of an action film

I removed my mask "What gang are you guys in?" I asked trying to buy myself time.

"The Cheeta's hun, heard of us?" He asked walking towards me.

"No, but sounds fun, how do I join?" I asked smiling innocently.

"A bit late for that tactic hun buying time are we?" He laughed slightly.

"Looks like my times up," I smiled. I turned back to the two men and began to fight them I figured it was the smartest option since if he tried to shoot at me he could hurt his own people. After taking the two down, I charged at him he began to shoot all of his bullets of which I missed by luck gliding, rolling and cartwheeling.

I finally stood in front of him we fought over the gun turning and twisting it. After what seemed like a lifetime I secured the gun and pointed it at him. "So how we gonna do this?" I asked.

"We could both walk away,"  He suggested.

"Doesn't seem right though," I replied.

He let out an evil chuckle, "You're right..."

"Lilith watch out..."
