Fluttershy was still sobbing on the bed before hearing a knock from the door.

"Who is it?" She asked as she got up and walked towards it before opening the door.

"Applejack, sugarcube." A light orange teapot said in a southern accent as she hopped in with a sugar container with some cream container and a yellow teacup.

"O-Oh my-" Fluttershy backed up in shock as she bumped into a wardrobe who woke up.

"Oh, hello, darling." The wardrobe greeted her kindly.

"You... You can talk?!" Fluttershy questioned in shock and surprise.

"Y'all get used to it, sugarcube. How 'bout you take a seat and have a cup 'o tea?" Applejack suggested and Fluttershy knew that a cup of tea would help.

"Okay." She sits on the floor next to the bed.

The teacup hopped to her after Applejack filled her with some warm tea.

"Thank you." Fluttershy said kindly and levitated the teacup and took a small sip.

"You're welcome. I'm Apple Bloom." The teacup replied.

"I might reckon that was a brave thin' you did back there." Applejack said, referring to the cell incident.

"We all think so." The wardrobe said.

"He didn't even let me say goodbye..." Fluttershy said sadly as Apple Bloom looked at her sadly.

"Cheer up. It will be alright." Apple Bloom said with a comforting smile which she returned.

"Well, I best be off. There's dinner to prepare. Come on, Apple Bloom." Applejack said.

"Bye!" Apple Bloom said as she and Applejack hopped out of the door.

"Now then, darling! Let's get you ready for dinner! Oh! Let's see what I have in my drawers!" The wardrobe, Rarity said excitedly.

She opened the door and butterflies all came flying out.

"Oh my!" Rarity yelped in surprise and laughed as Fluttershy giggled in amusement.

"That was quite embarrassing. Now let's see." Rarity said before pulling out a dress.

"Ah, this one would look marvelous on you!" She said as she showed it to Fluttershy.

"That's very kind of you but I'm not going to dinner." Fluttershy said, which made Rarity look at her in surprise.

Just then a rainbow colored clock, Rainbow Dash, comes in through the door.

"Dinner is served." She said as Fluttershy looked at her curiously.

In the eating area, Sombra was pacing in front of a fireplace and on the table was a lot of food to eat fit for a huge village but Sombra was running out of patience since Fluttershy should have arrived by now.

"What's taking so long? I told her to come down. Why isn't she here yet?!" Sombra growled as both Applejack and Pinkie Pie watched from the top of the fireplace as he continued to pace.

"Oh, try to be patient, Yer Highness. The girl has lost her freedom in one day. So I kindly suggest that y'all be patient." Applejack said.

"I've been patient and she still hasn't shown up." Sombra growled.

"Uh, King Sombra. Have you thought that, perhaps, this girl could be the one to break the spell?" Pinkie Pie asked as Sombra gave her an annoyed look.

"Of course I have. I'm not a fool." Sombra said as Pinkie Pie smiled.

"That's great! You fall in love with her, she falls in love with you, and-Poof!-the spell will be broken! We'll be back to normal by midnight!" Pinkie Pie said excitedly as Applejack gave her a disapproving look.

"I don' think that's going to be easy, Pinkie Pie. These things like love takes time." Applejack said.

"But the rose has already begun to wilt." Pinkie Pie reminded her as Sombra sighed and looked out the window.

It has been a thousand years since he and the entire inhabitants of the castle were cursed.

"While we wait, let's work on yer manners and appearance." Applejack said.

"Oh goodie!" Pinkie Pie smiled as they both hopped towards the table.

They both started to say things at the same time and Sombra was having a hard time following what they say

"Stand up straight."

"Be sure to flash her a big smile!"

"Be a gentlecolt."

"Be gentle!"

"And lastly, to control your temper!" Both Pinkie Pie and Applejack told him in the end.

They perked up and looked to the door as it started to open and Sombra's eyes held hope only for it to disappear when it was just Rainbow Dash.

"Well? Where is she?" Sombra asked through gritted teeth.

"Well, with the whole situation and-" Rainbow Dash started but stopped when Sombra was giving her an inpatient look.

She gulped and smiled nervously.

"She's not coming." She said with a scared look.

That's all it took as Sombra burst through the doors.

"WHAT?!" He yelled as he burst out of the doors and galloped towards the room where the unicorn is residing in as Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Rainbow Dash run or hopped after him.

"Let's not be too hasty, Yer Highness!" Applejack yelled.

Upon arriving at the door, Sombra started to bang on it.

"I told you to come out for dinner!" He yelled.

"I'm not hungry!" Fluttershy yelled back.

"You better come out or I'll... I'll tear down the door!" Sombra yelled before Pinkie Pie cleared her throat.

"Um, King Sombra, I don't think that will win her over." She laughed sheepishly.

"But she's being so stubborn." He growled towards the door.

"Gently. Gently." Applejack said with a calming motion.

This made Sombra sigh in annoyance.

"Will you come down for dinner?" He asked again.

"No." Fluttershy denied again.

Sombra looked annoyed and looked at the trio while gesturing to the door as if asking for permission to tear it down but Rainbow Dash shook her head as she gave him a look

"It would be a great pleasure if you join me for dinner." Sombra said as nicely as possible through gritted teeth.

"Say please." Pinkie Pie mumbled.

"Please." He added while he rolled his eyes.

"No, thank you!" Fluttershy declined.

"You can't stay there forever!" Sombra argued.

"Oh, yes I can!" Fluttershy argues back.

"Fine then. Go ahead and starve!" He growled loudly.

He then turned to the trio who cringed at his glare.

"If she doesn't eat me, then she doesn't eat at all." Sombra told them before teleporting to the West Wing.

He threw the doors open with an angry burst of magic.

"I tried to be nice to her and this is how she treats me?!" He growled while throwing a chair out of his way.

"What does she even want me to do then? Get on my knees and beg?!" He growled and headed to the table that had the rose and mirror.

He angrily levitates the mirror in front of him.

"Show me Fluttershy." He ordered it.

The reflective surface of the mirror swirled away to reveal Fluttershy sitting on the bed with Rarity.

"He might be a big brute, darkling, but he's quite nice once you get to know him." Rarity told her as Fluttershy has her forelegs crossed.

"I don't want to get to know him. I don't even want anything to do with him!" Fluttershy told her angrily.

That was enough for Sombra to turn away from the mirror. It's all his fault... He should have known better.

"I'm just making a fool of myself for Harmony's sake. She'll never see me as anything..." He said sadly as he set the mirror down.

'But a monster...' He thought sadly as he watched another petal fall as it joined the already fallen petals below the rose.

Time is running out. In a few days, he'll be a Beast forever...

"It's hopeless..." He covered his face with his claws.
