Fluttershy watched the snow outside the window and realized that it was midnight. Her tummy rumbled and she rubbed it. She was hungry. She let out a quiet sigh. She should have just accepted that stupid invitation to dinner. She headed to the door before opening it a little to see if anyone was there. The coast was clear. She carefully and silently went out as she closed the door gently. She spotted the stairs and walked down them to the kitchen to at least get something to eat.

Spotting a slightly opened door and the slight aroma from inside, she deduced that it was the kitchen and went to it to find the trio from earlier.

"If Sombra doesn' learn to control tha' temper of his, then-" Applejack's voice was heard before another spoke up.

"Oh hey there! My name is Pinkie Pie, the party planner of the household!" The candle, Pinkie Pie, introduced herself as Rainbow Dash joined her.

"And this is my friend, Rainbow Dash!" Pinkie Pie said as Rainbow rolled her eyes but smiled.

"Nice to meet you." Rainbow Dash said as Fluttershy smiled.

"It's very nice to meet you. I'm Fluttershy." Fluttershy greeted them.

"Is there anything we can do to make your stay a bit more comfortable?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"Well, I am a bit hungry." She said as she rubbed her tummy.

"A bit? More like yer starving. Start the fire! Bring out the silver with the china!" Applejack went all chef as the kitchen started to cook.

"Uh, remember what King Sombra said." Rainbow Dash said nervously.

"Eat or not, I ain't about to let the sugarcube go hungry, Dash." Applejack said.

"I just don't think it's a good idea. How about some butter and a loaf of bread-" Rainbow Dash said but was cut off by Pinkie's loud gasp.

"Rainbow Dash! She's not our prisoner, she's our guest! So let's make her feel really welcome here!" Pinkie Pie said excitedly.

"Alright but keep it down. If Sombra finds out about this, we'll be in serious trouble." Rainbow Dash said.

Of course, I know, silly! But what is dinner without a party with music!" Pinkie Pie suggested as they went out of the kitchen to the dining room.

Fluttershy sat down on the chair that was provided as a spot light appeared in the middle with Pinkie Pie.

"Ma chere, mademoiselle, it is our deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight." Pinkie Pie began as she took out a baton and a top hat out of nowhere.

"And now, we invite you to relax. Let us pull up a chair." At that Fluttershy's chair moved a bit closer to the table as she gasped in surprise.

"As the dining room, proudly present! Your dinner." Pinkie Pie said as she gestured to the plates and dishes with covers.

Pinkie Pie: Be our guest, be our guest
Put our service to the test,
tie your napkin 'round your neck, cherie
and we provide the rest!

The chair Fluttershy was sitting on has wrapped a napkin around her neck, who takes it off and places it on her lap.

Pinkie Pie: Soup du jour, hot hors d'oeuvres
Why we only live to serve
Try the gray stuff, it's delicious

Pinkie Pie offers Fluttershy a plate of hors d'oeuvres. She dips her hoof in one and tastes it and was amazed by the taste.

Pinkie Pie: Don't believe me? Ask the dishes!

A cabinet at the end of the table opens to reveal a large China collection, which rolls out and begins to perform.

Pinkie Pie: They can sing, they can dance
After all, miss, this is France!
And a dinner here is never second best!

Pinkie Pie hands Fluttershy a menu, which she begins to read.

Pinkie Pie: Go on unfold your menu, take a glance and then you'll
Be our guest, be our guest, be our guest!

A set of plates danced by and Fluttershy was able to try out small samples of it before Pinkie Pie set the pudding on fire.

Rainbow Dash: Beef ragout, cheese souffle,
Pie and pudding en flambe!
We'll prepare and serve with flair
A culinary cabaret!

You're alone and you're scared,
But the banquet's all prepared!
No one's gloomy or complaining,
While the flatware's entertaining!

The flatware enters a 'Busby Berlkley-esque' swimming scene.

Pinkie Pie: We tell jokes, I do tricks
With my fellow candlesticks

Pinkie Pie, standing on a plate and giggling, is elevated and begins to juggle her candles. Mugs enter the shot.

Mugs: And it's all in perfect taste
That you can bet!

The Mugs begin a gymnastics routine, hopping over one another and passing a beverage from one to the next as Fluttershy watches in amazement and awe.

All: Come on and lift your glass,
You've won your own free pass
To be our guest, be our guest, be our guest!

Pinkie Pie: If you're stressed, it's fine dining we suggest!

All: Be our guest, be our guest, be our guest!

The spotlight became blue with Pinkie Pie underneath it.

Pinkie Pie: Life is so unnerving,
For a servant who's not serving!
He's not whole without a soul to wait upon

Rainbow Dash: Ah, those good old days when we were useful
Suddenly, those good old days are gone.

Rainbow Dash sings as if she were reminiscing. Snow begins to fall more like salt and pepper.

Rainbow Dash: Ten years we've been rusting
Needing so much more than dusting
Needing exercise, a chance to use our skills!

Most days just lay around the castle,

Pinkie Pie: Flabby fat and lazy
You walked in, and oops-a-daisy!

Pinkie Pie jumps on a spoon in the gelatin, which catapults Rainbow Dash out of the mold.

In the kitchen, the whole place was bursting in energy where Applejack was surrounded by soap bubbles.

Applejack: It's a guest, it's a guest!
Sakes alive, well I'll be blessed!
Wine's been poured and thank the Lord
I've had the napkins freshly pressed!

Applejack continues to dance around the kitchen.

Applejack: With dessert, she'll want tea,
And my dear, that's fine with me!
While the cups do their soft shoeing,
I'll be bubbling, I'll be brewing!

Applejack hops on the stove to warm up the tea.

Applejack: I'll get warm, piping hot
Heaven's sake, is that a spot?

Applejack is cleaned off by a napkin.

Applejack: Clean it up, we want the company impressed!
We've got a lot to do-
Is it one lump or two?
For you our guest!

She hops onto the tea cart and rolls into the dining room, where she offers tea to Fluttershy.

All:  She's our guest!

Applejack: She's our guest!

Our command is your request!
It's ten years since we had anybody here
And we're obsessed!
With your meal, with your ease,
Yes indeed, we aim to please

While the candlelight is still glowing
Let us help you, we'll keep going-

The China and candlesticks perform an elaborately choreographed dance sequence, ending in a c.u. of Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie Pie and All: Course, by course
One by one
Till you shout "Enough, I'm done!"
Then we'll sing you off to sleep as you digest
Tonight you'll prop your feet up,
But for now, let's eat up

The performance ended with Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Rainbow Dash posing in front of the champagne-like fountain.

Fluttershy clapped happily. That was the best thing she had ever seen.

"That was wonderful!" Fluttershy complimented as Pinkie Pie smiled brightly.

"Thank you, thank you! Good show, everypony!" Pinkie Pie smiled.

"It was awesome to be honest." Rainbow agreed.

"Well, it's gettin' late, sugarcube. It's time to go to bed." Applejack said as she saw the time.

"Oh, I couldn't possibly go to bed right now. I've never been inside a real enchanted castle before." Fluttershy said with a smile.

"Enchanted? Who said the castle is enchanted." Rainbow said, feigning confusion.

"Considering that the objects can sing, dance and move, I kind of figure it out on my own." Fluttershy revealed with a giggle before she stood up.

"I would like to look around. If it's alright." Fluttershy said.

"Oh! Would you like a tour?" Pinkie Pie asked but Rainbow Dash stopped her.

"Hang on, Pinkie. I'm not sure that's a really good idea." She said growing concern.

"Is something wrong?" Fluttershy asked in concern.

"Well, I-I..." Rainbow Dash trailed off nervously.

"How about showing me around? You or Applejack must know everything about this place." Fluttershy said convincingly.

"Well, I don't really know most of the palace but Applejack does." Rainbow Dash said.

"Can you show me around, please?" Fluttershy asked her politely.

"Oh, alright. I'll show you around." Applejack said with a smile.

They head out of the dining room with Pinkie Pie leading them with Rainbow Dash and Applejack starting the tour.
