"Let go of me you mutant freak!" I yelled struggling go get free of Raphael's grasp.

"Come on Cat cut it out! Raphael groaned. He was getting tired of me hitting his shell. "Your starting to get on my nerves kid."

"What's the matter with her Donnie? Asked Leo concerned.

"I'm not sure Leo. It's as if she's under some sort of mind control." Donnie replied.

"Can you fix her?" Mikey asked concerned.

"It's not liking fixing a toaster Mikey. Donnie groaned. We're talking about a person here. This isn't going to be an easy task. First I have to figure out what the Shredder did to her. Then I've got to.... "

"you lost me dude." Mikey interrupted. "Can you fix her or not?"
"Yeah Mikey I can fix her." It'll just take some time to figure out exactly what the Shredder did to her. Then I'll have to create someway to reverse what's been done to her."

"Whatever you've got to do, do it fast Donnie! Raphael replied plopping me down on a near by chair. I don't know how long I can keep her from running away."
"What is going on here? demanded splitter entering the room. I've told you a thousand times .... " Splinter's voice trailed off as he spotted Karai. "Miwa? Is that you?"
"Hello father" Karai replied with a smile giving Splinter a hug.
Splinter looked up at Karai and asked "how is this possible? I never thought I'd..." splinters voice trailed off.

"I understand Father. The Shredder forced Baxster to work night and day until he found a cure for my mutation. Afterwards he allowed Baxter to implant me with a mind control slug. I was once again lead to believe that you were my enemies in essence I was once again his obedient slave. However, I was able to remember the truth and your sons managed to save my life. Unfortunately, Tiger claw grabbed me and brought me before the Shredder. He imprisoned me and that is where I have remained until today. I will never forgive the Shredder for what he's put us through." Karai replied.
"It doesn't matter now it's in the past what matters now is that you are home safe and sound."
"oh please spare me" I replied pretending to gag. "I can't believe you actually trust these turtles and their master! No wonder Master Shredder imprisoned you. You actually have a soft spot for these freaks!" I replied with a frown.

Splinter furrowed his brow and looked at me and then back at his sons. "Has she been acting this way since you rescued her?" He questioned.

"Yes Master Splinter. I can't seem to find out the reason behind her new found hatred of us. I've checked and she hasn't been implanted with any of Baxter's mind control slugs. So she's obviously not under any kind of mind control like I first thought. I can't find any cause for her behavior. Whatever, the Shredder did to her is not showing up in her system."

Splinter stroked his beard thoughtfully. "I have a feeling all will be revealed in due time. For now, I suggest we meditate on the events of the past few days and pray for a solution."

The turtles looked at each other "Did he just say pray?" Donnie asked shocked.

"Yup" Leo replied walking over to the dojo and sitting down besides Splinter.

"Forget that! I say we find Stockman and kick some fly butt till he tells us what they did to Cat!" Raph replied heading towards the lair exit.

"Raphael, what have I told you time and time again? The first rule I learned as a ninja is too possess the right thinking. Only then can one receive knowledge. We must live by the code of martial arts. We only fight when..." Splinter was cut off by Raph who waved his hand at him dismissively.

"I know, I know, a ninja does not seek out a battle. We only fight when someone else starts and We only kick butt when all else fails, but Master Splinter, not everything can be solved by meditation. I still say, our only option right now is to kick some fly butt till we get some answers." Raph said looking over at me in concern. Too which Splinter replied with a clearing of his throat. Which often meant that he was disappointed in his sons response. However, he too looked over in my direction and sighed in concern.

I glared at the turtle in red and the rat who were looking in my direction seeming very concerned about me. "Oh, so now you care about me? Now your suddenly concerned about me? Where were you when I needed you? Where were you when I was caught in the crossfire between you and that monster? Did you even check to see if I was alright? No! Instead you left me so you could go rescue your precious April O Neil! You never cared about me! In fact, I wouldn't be alive right now if it wasn't for my Father!" I snarled.

What was I talking about? "What monster?" Mikey whispered to his brothers.
Catherine heard his question and frowned.

"The giant skunk porcupine man creature you were fighting. If I remember correctly the monster was referred to as Sukankuzumi."

"Mikey scratched his head, a giant skunk man huh? No, I don't recall doing battle with a giant skunk man. If I had I'd've called him Skunkator no Sukankuzumi.
"Mikey focus!" the others scolded and Raph went over to Mikey and smacked him on the head.
"Ow! What was that for?" Mikey asked rubbing the back of his head.
"For being an idiot!" Raph replied which made me smile and give a quiet giggle. However, I didn't want them to see me smile so I quickly returned my gaze to that of a frown.
