Raphael POV

Meanwhile, back at the turtle lair I was once again irritated by my brothers. Specifically their lack of action. "What are we waiting for? I say we bust into the foot headquarters and get her out of there!"

"Maybe this is for the best." muttered Donnie.

"What's that suppose to mean?" I yelled at Donnie.

"Calm down Raph, Donnie didn't mean it, Right Donnie?" Leo said trying to smooth things over between his brothers.

Donnie looked slight apologetic and replied "well..."

"Well what?" I demanded trying hard not to loose my temper.

"I hate to say it but I'm not sure rescuing Catherine is the right thing to do. I mean did you ever stop to think that Catherine might have wanted to go with the Shredder?" Donnie replied with a wince.

At this I rolled my eyes in irritation and replied "Right. I guess you forget the part where She was unconscious. I bet if the situation were reversed and it was April who had gotten kidnapped by the Shredder you'd be all gun hoe to rescue her."

"That's different.. Donnie began to reply.

"Different how?" I replied my eyes narrowing at his brother. I demanded throwing my sai into the dummy across the room nearly hitting Donnie.

"For one, April isn't the daughter of our worst enemy." Donnie replied matter of factly.

"Oh so that is what this is about? You want to abandon her just because we found out she's the Shredder's daughter?" I said starting to head towards Donnie with my hands balled into fists.

"Raph that's enough!" Leo said grabbing me and forcing me away from Donnie. "Don't worry about Cat, I'm sure she will be fine. It's not like the Shredder is going to harm his own daughter." Leo said trying once again to calm Me down.

This time I turned my anger towards his older brother. "Just what makes you think she will be fine oh great leader?"I said sarcastically trying to bait my brother into fighting with me. When it didn't work I continued to bait Leo. "You don't know what the Shredder plans to do with her Leo! Or are you a mind reader all of a sudden? Besides, who asked you to butt in?" I said pushing Leo.

"Hay, I'm just trying to be a good leader." Leo replied shoving me in response.

"Yeah well,  your not a good leader and you never will be. You'll never Master the art of being a true leader." I replied knowing this would push Leo's into fighting with me.

"Raphael! Leonardo!  Enough! How many times must we go through this?  Until you can work as a team you will never become the great ninja masters that I know that you can be." Master Splinter said shaking his head in disappointment.

"If Leo stopped being such a show off, stopped acting as if he were better then the rest of us maybe I'd respect him."  I muttered retrieving my sai.

Splinter POV

I sighed and turned my attention to my oldest son. "You and Raph need to work on working together not apart. As a leader it is your job to ensure the team works together like clockwork."

" But Master Splinter, Raph is impossible to work with. He never follows orders, his anger often jeopardizes the team...." Leo replied.

I sighed and shook my head in disappointment.  "I thought that you had already learned this lesson after you returned from training. However, it seems that I am constantly having to remind you time and time again. You must learn to harness each other's strengths and weaknesses. You must learn to work together only then can you truly become masters. As a leader it is your job to help your brothers learn to do this. Until you take this lesson to heart you will never be a great leader." I scolded my oldest son.

"Yes Master." Leo said with a sigh, if it was one thing he hated it was disappointing his father. "But Master, how will I learn how to harness my brother's strength and weaknesses? What if I never learn? What if I can't become the great leader you want me to be? How do you know I am capable of be such a great leader? Why did you give me this position in the first place?"

I looked up at Leo and smiled, "we've been through this my son. I wouldn't have given you the katana if I didn't think you'd make a great leader. I have great faith in you my son. You will become the leader I know you can be." With that I walked into the kitchen and made myself some tea.

"So what are we going to do about little Cat?" Mikey asked looking up from his comic book.

"I don't know Mikey." Leo replied with a sigh.

"Perhaps we should analyze the situation and weigh all the pros and cons before making a decision." Donnie replied.

Raphael POV

"That's your solution to everything isn't it Donnie." I grumbled. "You know what forget it! I don't need you! I'll rescue Cat with out your help! With that I grabbed my trench coat and hat and left.

"Should we go after him?"Donnie asked worried that I meant what I had said about rescuing Cat alone.

"No let him go below off some steam. It'll be good for him." Leo replied.

"Ok Leo if that's what you think is best." Donnie replied turning back to his invention he was working on.

Meanwhile on the rooftops I was hitting everything I could find. His brothers just didn't get it!

Casey spotted me and could tell that I was in one of my moods. "Hey Raph what's up?" Casey asked.

"They just don't get it!" I growled!
Casey knew that I was referring to my brothers. "What did they do now?"Casey asked with a slight smile.

"How can they say Cat's not a part of the family? How can they even think that she shouldn't be rescued?" I said hitting a nearby trash can with his sai.

"Is that what this is all about? The kid? I hate to say it Raph but..:." Casey's voice trailed off as I shot him a deadly glare.

"Casey, don't even think about finishing that sentence!" I growled as I retrieved my sai.

"I know you don't want to hear this but have you thought that perhaps your brothers are right?" Casey asked.

"I said don't go there!" I yelled shoving Casey angrily.

Casey looked at me and replied , "Ok Raph, you want to rumble then bring it on!" Casey motioned to me knowing that their rumbles often cooled me down.

I knew what Casey was trying to do and I wasn't going to fall for it. "This is a waste of time! We should be out there searching for her!" I said shoving Casey out of my way.

"OK I get it, you care about the kid." Casey said walking up to me and placing his hand on my shoulder. "

I shrugged Casey's hand off and replied again "I said don't call her kid! She has a name, and what's with siding with my brothers all of a sudden?

"Look Raph, I know you care about the kid er I mean Catherine. It's just that your brothers do have a genuine argument. Leo told us how crushed you were when you found out that Catherine is the Shredder's daughter. I hate to say it but maybe..." Again I cut Casey off mid sentence.

"You know what, just forget it! I don't need your help! Since no one else seems to care I guess I'll just have to rescue Cat on my own!"

"Hold up Raph, I didn't mean anything by what I said. You know I've always got your back. So what's your plan? Whatever it is Count me in!" He said with a smile as he placed his hockey mask over his face.

"I say we find those no good purple dragons and make them squeal." No sooner had I said this, a purple Dragon walked around the corner. "Well that didn't take long there's our squealer now." Let's go kick some dragon butt, you with me?" I asked turning towards Casey.

"You know it!" Casey replied grabbing his hockey sticks and following me to the Street below. Soon the purple dragon was face to face with Casey and I.

"Where is She?" I growled grabbing the purple dragon by the collar and shoving his my in his face.

"I have no clue what you're talking about." Stuttered the purple dragon member.

"Wrong answer!" I growled shoving the sai closer to the purple dragon's throat.

"Hay buddy take it easy," Casey said placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I swear I don't know who you're talking about. Please don't hurt me." Begged the wimpy purple dragon. With that the purple Dragon turned and ran.

"I love it when they play hard to get." I said with a smile as I hopped onto my cycle. It didn't take me long to overtake the purple Dragon. "Now Listen up because I'm only going to ask this one more time where is Cat?"

"Cat? Cat who?" The purple dragon replied completely confused.

"Cat, as in the girl Shredder kidnapped!" I replied with a growl looming over the purple dragon.

"You mean the Kid? All I know is that she was injured and they took her to that scientist's lab. I don't know anything else I swear!" The purple dragon whimpered.

"Baxster!" I growled. "Come on Casey we've got a fly to catch!"

"Oh no, there's no way I'm going anywhere near that lab. Need I remind you what happened to Karai? I ain't going no where near mutagen! Can't let anything happen to this perfect face. Perhaps we should get your brothers."

"There's no time! You heard him, Cat's life is in danger! Who knows what they are going to do with her! We've got to rescue her now!!!"
