Mikey

Meanwhile in the sewer below ,  I was doing one of my favorite past times sewer skateboarding. Suddenly, I could hear a unusual sound resounding through the tunnels.  It was the sound of someone crying well, more like sobbing. Being curious I decided to find out  where  and from whom the crying sounds were coming from. I couldn't stand to see or hear anyone sad and I hated hearing people cry.

Now I have a vivid imagination and soon my head was filled with different creatures I imagined a crying sound could be coming from. Perhaps it was some creature that had been mutated by the TGRI mutagen, or a baby Alien who have been separated from his parents. One thing I knew for sure was that the crying sound wasn't coming from one of my brothers or from our sense.

I listened closely and determine that the strange sound was coming from the street above close to the man hole my brothers and I often used. As I lifted the man hole cover, I was shocked by what I saw. I never would've imagined that the crying sound was coming from a girl.  Yet, I knew that this girl also held danger as she was staring at a foot clan insignia and was surrounded by members of the purple dragons.

"This can't be good" I whispered to myself. I knew I couldn't take on the purple dragons by myself and I didn't know what to do. I knew the girl needed help, so for once I did the smart thing and went to find Master Splinter. Splinter had raised my brothers Leonardo, Leo for short, Donatello, AKA Donnie and Raphael Ralph for short  and I and had trained us in the ways of the ninja.

"Honey, I'm home"  I called to which my brothers all groaned. "You'll never guess what I found on the street above our man hole cover."

"Your brain"  Raphael replied.

"Good one" replied Donnie give Raph a high three.

"Ha ha very funny Raph, nope. It is a girl and she's in major trouble dudes."

"You found a what?" My Brothers all said in unison.

"I said I saw girl above our man hole cover. She was being surrounded by purple dragons. I think she is being hunted by them."

"Be serious Mikey, that is nothing to joke" about." Leo responded.

"Would I joke about something like this, come on guys I'm serious, there is a girl directly above our man hole cover who is she's surrounded by members of the purple dragons. She looked like she didn't have a friend in the world."

"Why would the purple dragons be hunting this girl?" Leo  wondered.

"Forget about the why they want her. Let's focus on the fact that she's surrounded by members of purple dragons. I say we kick some shell and ask questions later!"

"I don't think that's the best idea Ralph. You know master Splinter doesn't like it when we go above ground." Leo replied.

"So what are we going to do about the girl? Just leave her to the purple dragons? Raphael asked with a bit of an attitude as usual.

"Of course not! Leo replied "However, We can't just go out there all willy-nilly, we need need to devise a plan".

"So that's the plan from our great leader? Sit on our buts and wait to see how the situating unfolds? I'm going up there and smack some sense into those purple dragons."

"Not gonna happen! "Leo said blocking the exit. "Master Splinter put me in charge, it's my job to make sure you don't go and make some hotheaded move."

"Hot headed? You think I'm hot headed you haven't seen anything yet! You ain't the boss  of me Leo!" Raphael said angrily. "I'm gonna go make those dragons pay. No one attacks innocent people on my watch especially a helpless girl!"

"You're not going out there." Leo said again this time in a more authoritative voice as he blocked the exit to the door.

"Get out of my way Leo!"Growled Ralphael.

Mikey looked at Donny " fight?"

"Fight" nodded Donnie.

"You want to leave your going to have to go through me." Leo said blocking Raphael's path.

"Who do your think is going to win this time?" Mikey asked.

"With those two who knows", replied Donnie.

"Should we try to intervene?" Mikey asked.

Donnie shrugged his shrugged his shoulders and replied "naw, there's no talking to them when they are like this."

"What is going on here?" Demanded Master Splinter as he entered the  room. "Leonardo, Raphael that is enough! What is this fighting all about?"

"I'm sick and tired of Leo tell me what to do and acting like he's our Great leader." Raphael replied angrily.

"Yah well, I'm tired of always having to fix the situations you cause because of your temper. You need to learn to control it!"

"Whatever! If anything my anger makes me a better fighter. Besides, there is a girl who needs our help and you want me to sit down here and twiddle my fingers. Since when is wanting to protect an innocent person a hot headed decision?" Raphael demanded.

Before Leo could respond Splinter interrupted the fight. "What is this about a girl?"

"Mikey found a girl alone in the streets above, She's surrounded by members of the purple dragons. We are not sure if she's an enemy or not. We were trying to determine the best course of action." Donatello replied.

"I think what You mean to say Donnie, is that  Mikey found a possible foot clan member hiding in the streets above our humble home."
Leo replied.

"We don't know for certain that she is a foot clan member " Raphael replied acting like the mature one for once.

"Oh , so the foot clan insignia that Mikey said she was looking at isn't proof?" Leo demanded. Acting more like Raphael then like the leader he usually acted like.

Splinter knew this fight would continue unless he intervened, "Where precisely is the child now  my sons?" Splinter asked in concern.

"I left her where I found her, in the street we often use when we are going on patrol." I replied.

Purple dragon POV

"Did you hear that Arthur's daughter ran away?"

"Yeah."

"Evidently she saw who kidnapped Officer Arthur's wife."

"You mean ex officer Arthur."

"Your kidding right? He's the Chief's son."

"Evidently he threatened the kid and used a illegal substance to force her to talk and supposedly she isn't his kid. She's the daughter of some crime boss who runs a gang known as the foot clan. He no longer desires to raise the child. So he told his father to place her in the foster care system or in a local orphanage. Now she's run away."

"Maybe she went in search of the people who kidnapped her mother."

My eyes went wide as I realized based on their  conversation it meant that the child who ran into the dead end street a little while ago was the Shredder's missing daughter. While the officers were distracted I snuck out of the patrol car and raced back to our lair to report this information to Hun the leader of the purple dragons.

Upon receiving this information Hun contacted  Bebop and Rocksteady who  rushed back to the foot clan lair to give the Shredder a full report on what they had been told.
