Shredder POV

Meanwhile back at the foot headquarters Fishface bowed before the Me. "Master we have just received an update from the purple dragons."

"This is why you interrupted my meditation? To give me a report?" I growled placing my kabuto helmet on my head.

Fish face gulped he could tell that the I wasn't in a good mood and that was always a bad sign. "Perhaps this should wait, I'll return later" Fish face replied back towards the door.

"The damage has already been done. What is so important?"! I demanded.

Fish face gulped he wasn't sure how to put the information he was to report to the Master without making him angry.

"Your wasting my time, you know I don't like my time being wasted. What is the report?" I demanded.

"Master, according to the purple dragons newest report they located your wife and daughter."

I leaned forward slightly, "And?" He demanded with a slight growl.

"According to the official police report Crystal has been kidnapped. Supposedly the  kidnappers left a random note demanded an exchange for her safe return. Your daughter witnessed her "kidnapping". According to the purple dragon who was arrested at the time of the investigation your daughter is terrified of the foot clan. She is also afraid of the man she believed to be her father and has run away. Bebop and Rocksteady are heading to her last known location to retrieve her as we speak."

Something wasn't right and this greatly troubled me. "Find Tatsu and bring him to me! Tell him his time is up and I want answers! He will explain what happened to my wife and where my daughter is located."

"Yes Master!"

Tatsu

Fish face knew exactly where to find me. He always could be found in the dojo. "Tatsu, the Master would like a word with you." Fish face said as he approached the dojo area of the foot headquarters.

I knew why the Shredder wanted to see me and I wasn't looking forward to explaining to him that I couldn't locate his daughter. "You wished to see me Master?" I said kneeling before the Shredder.

"Your time is up. Where are my wife and daughter?"

"I'm in the process of questioning the traitor right now. She has once again betrayed you by hiding your daughter from us. However, she isn't being very corporative."

"Bring her to me. Perhaps all Crystal needs is some proper motivation. She will explain herself or suffer the consequences."

Shredder POV

Soon Crystal was brought to the throne room and forced to bow before me. "You have some explaining to do." I said placing my fingers in a triangle and drumming them together.

Crystal looked me directly in the eyes and replied "I have nothing to explain. I had to leave, for the sake of the clan and for our daughter's sake."

"This city belongs to me! No one would dare challenge my authority." I replied.

"Not everyone is intimidated by you, and as much as you think you control this city there are those who still would defy you. My husband being one of them."

"I am your husband!" I growled rising from my throne.

"I had hoped you would have understood my actions and overlooked them.  If not for me, then for our daughter's sake. I guess I  thought wrong, you did sent Tatsu to kill me. Didn't you?" I under estimated how cruel you really are. I'd have thought that you'd never allow Tatsu to harm us. After all, we are your family. Punish me if you must but promise me, You won't allow Tatsu to kill us." Crystal Replied. "You won't right? You won't let him kill us will you?"

I didn't answer Crystal's question instead I replied, "You will be held accountable for your actions and you will suffer the consequences. You know that the  consequences will be dire."

"You would do that to your own family?" Crystal replied her eyes filled with hurt.

"Especially to my family. Betrayal will not be permitted. Take her away," I said with a wave of my hand. "Lock her in the dungeon till I decide her fate."

"Yes, Master!" Tatsu replied with a smile. Grabbing Crystal by the collar he dragged her from the throne room.

Catherine POV

A few weeks later, in the sewers the turtles were discussing what they were going to do for
food for the day. The refrigerator was getting low on stock.  "So dudes what do you want for lunch?" Mikey asked.

"Come on Mikey, Do you even have to ask?"' His brothers replied.

"Pizza?" said Mikey,

" Pizza"  his brothers replied.

"What kind should we order this time? Cheese, pepperoni, meat lovers, Hawaiian? So many choices," Mikey said with a smile.

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I don't like pizza." I replied.

"Huh?" The turtles jaws all dropped in shock.  .

"Did she just say what I thought she said?  asked Mikey grabbing his chest.

"Depends on what you thought she said" Donnie replied.

"For a second there I thought she said she didn't like pizza"  Mikey replied.

"I did", I don't like pizza in fact I'm allergic to it. It cause me to be sick to my  stomach. I can't even be around the smell of it. So, no more pizza guys." I responded.

"No more pizza? Mikey groaned. Guys I'm feeling kinda woozy" Mikey said as he slumped into a nearby chair. "I can't live without pizza. Kill me, kill me now." Mikey begged.

I smiled and started to laugh. "Chillax Mikey I was just  joking."

Mike ran over to me and grabbed my collar and shook me. "Dudett, that  so not cool! Never joke around when it comes to Pizza am I right guys?"

"Right" the others agreed.

"Ok sorry, I didnt realize Pizza meant so much to you. Why don't I make it up to you? I'll go order us some right now from the dominos down the street. Anyone up for a pepperoni Hawaiian mix?" I asked.

"chyeah!  Sounds great dudette! " the turtles replied.

"Hay, duddette, you don't need to go get it we can order delivery." Mikey said with a smile.

"The last time you ordered deleivery the pizza was ten minutes late. I felt bad that we didn't pay the full price."

"As a wise man once said, forgiveness is Devine but..."

"I know, I know, never pay full price for late pizza." I said with a smile finishing Mikey's sentence. "Sometimes I think you made that up." I said with a smile. "I don't mind picking it up I need the exercise and truth be told, I could use some fresh air." I replied with a smile. It was nice being part of a family that cared about her.  "I'll see you guys in about 30 minutes." As I waved good by Donnie called out to her.

"Catherine wait up!"

"Is something the matter? Let me guess you "guys want me to make sure i bring home at least four large pizzas right?"

"Nah dudette though that does sound like an excellent idea.  I just wanted to give you one of these since your part of the family and all", said Donnie handing me a shellenator.

"What is this? I asked.

"It's a shell communicator in case you run into trouble" Donnie replied.

"Donnie I'm only going to the pizza store down the street. I'll be fine. Don't worry" I replied.

"Well just to be on the safe side take it along anyway" Donnie replied.

"Ok Donnie,  if it'll put your mind at ease I'll take it with me" I replied. "What would I do without you guys? I asked giving Donnie a big hug. "Be back soon!"

"Be careful!" Leo, Donnie and Mikey called to her as she left.

"And don't forget the meat lovers pizza dudedete" Mikey called to Me. However, I was already out the door. 

"Perhaps one of us should follow her" Leo and Raph said once I was out of sight.

"That won't be necessary" Donnie replied "I was worried about her going out alone so I placed a trading device in her shellenator. We will be able to pin point her exact location from here."

"Donnie  your a genius! Leo and Raph said in unison.

"I know," Donnie replied looking back at the monitor.

Meanwhile up above Rocksteady and Bebop were planning their next move. "How are we going to capture the girl when she's protected by those annoying turtles?" Bebop asked.

"It's simple," replied Rocksteady "we wait till the girl is alone and then we grab her."

It didn't take long for Rocksteady's plan to actually work. I was alone for then first time in what seemed like weeks. Bebop and Rocksteady waited to make sure none of the Turtles were following me and then they attacked.

I tried to grab her shellenator but to no avail. "Let go of me!" I yelled kicking and hitting my kidnappers.

"Your phone will be of no use to you where you are going" if those turtles try and locate you we will crush them!" Rocksteady replied crushing the shellenator.

Back at the lair the screen which showed my location suddenly went blank.
"Ah guys, I think we have a problem" Donnie called to his brothers.

"What is it Donnie?" Leo asked in concern.

"I lost Catherine's signal."

"You what?!" Demanded Raph running over to the screen.

"I've tried contacting her on he shellenator but she isn't answering. Her signal is completely gone.

"I knew I should have followed her" Raph said with a growl punching the wall. If anything has happened to her I'll never forgive myself."

"Calm down Raph I'm sure she's fine" Leo replied placing his hand on his brother's shoulder but Raph just shrugged it off.

"I'm going out to look for her" Raph said at last.

"No, Raph your not going... " Leo replied.

Before Leo could finish his sentence Raph growled, "Leo now's not the time to give me orders. I'm going to look for her with or without your help!"

"Raph I don't want to argue with you. What I meant to say is your not going alone. I think we would stand a better chance of finding her if we all search for her together."

Raph started to calm down. At last he and Leo actually agreed on something.  "I can cover more ground on my cycle."

"Good idea Raph, you use your cycle, Leo should search for via roof tops, Mikey and I will search for Catherine in the turtle van and I'll contact April and Casey maybe they can help in the search as well." Donnie said.

April was just heading to lunch when her shellenator went off. "Hi Donnie what's up?April asked motioning for Casey to join her.

"Catherine has gone missing. I can't get ahold of her on her shellenator. We can't find her anywhere. Would you and casey search around and see what you can find? We are really worried about her. Especially Raph."

"Of course we will help search for her April replied motioning for Casey to join her by her side."

"What's going on babe?" Casey asked April as she hung up the shellenator.

"How many times must I tell you don't call
Me babe!" April said punching  Casey in the shoulder.

"Ok, I get it! No need to get physical. So, what's up?" Casey asked.

"Catherine has gone missing and the turtles were wondering if we could help search for her. Her last known location was the Dominos pizza place a block from the turtle's den."

Meanwhile, I  soon found myself in the foot headquarters with no way of escaping.

"Welcome home little Catherine", came the voice I had hoped that I would never hear again. The voice of my mother's kidnapper.

"What have you done with my mother?" I demanded trying to sound less frightened.

"She's right over there." Tatsu replied pointing to what seemed to be her mother's lifeless body.

"Mommy!" I called but got no response. "Let me go!" I yelled trying to escape from Rocksteady's grasp. "What have you done to her?" I demanded angrily.

"Don't worry princess, she's not dead, at least not yet." Tatsu replied with a slight chuckle.  "Tie her up over there, I'll deal with her myself." Tatsu ordered Bebop and Rocksteady.

I looked up at them "please let me go" I begged to no prevail.

"Sorry princess but we have our orders." Rocksteady replied slightly apologetically tying her to the post Tatsu had pointed out to them.

I began to tremble as I looked Tatsu in the eyes. "Why are you doing this? What have we done wrong to deserve this kind of treatment? What does the Shredder want with us?" I said with a slight gulp my throat starting to tighten as I tried hard to fight back the tears that were starting to form in my eyes.

Tatsu chuckled  "Don't you worry your pretty  little head. All will be revealed in due time." Tatsu replied with a slight chuckle.

I glared at Tatsu how dare he harm my mother. I didn't know how but I was going to make this man pay for what he had done.

"To answer your question as to why this is being done, Your mother is a traitor and since you didn't return to the foot clan one can only assume you are a traitor as well. Why else would you have avoided us for so long? As to what the Master will do to you, well that remains to be seen. I could put in a good word for you. So long as your willing bow before me and call me Sensei or better yet, as long as your willing to call me Master." Tatsu replied.

I gulped then turned her head away as the tears began to fall. However, I wasn't going to give this monster the satisfaction of seeing or hearing me cry. After stifling a sniffle I regained my composure and turned to Tatsu looking him directly in the eyes.  "never!

"Pardon me?" Tatsu said frowning, "what was that?"

"I will never call you Master! I don't care if the Shredder does sentence me to death I shall never bow before you!" I said with a growl.

"Your as stubborn as your mother! Fine! Have it your way! In the name of the Shredder I hear by sentence the both of you  death!" However, before Tatsu could carry out his decision he was stopped in his tracks by fish face.

Fish face POV

I frowned at what I saw as I approached the training area. Tatsu was had a young girl tied to a post and a woman who looked like he had tortured her. That young girl and woman had better no be who I thought it was. I knew I had bet stop Tatsu or the Shredder would be having sushi for dinner. "Tatsu!" I yelled getting Tasu's attention.

Tatsu POV

I looked up to see Fish face walking towards me. "What do you want fish face? I'm right in the middle of something."

"I can see that" Fish Face replied. "The Master wants to see you now!"

"Is something wrong? " I asked concerned. It wasn't like the Shredder to request my presence.

"I'm not at liberty to say. Then with a slight smile he added," but I'd  hate to be you right now."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I demanded.

"As I said, I'm not at liberty to discuss the situation with you but if I were you I'd be worried." Fish Face replied with an eerie smile. "Oh and Tatsu, bring the girl and her mother."

Fish Face pushed me  and my tied up prisoners through the doors of the Shredder's throne room. "I've brought Tatsu as ordered Master," he said bowling down before the Shredder and forcing Tatsu to do the same.  "Oh, I'd thought you'd like to know I caught him sentencing your family to execution."

Shredder POV
I frowned Tatsu's fate was now sealed.  I had thought of showing Tatsu some leniency because of all his years of loyal service but this act of betrayal was unforgivable.

"Fish face, throw Tatsu in the dungeon and await my instructions" I ordered.

"As you wish Master." Fish Face said with a bow. "What of the girl and traitor?" Fish Face asked.

"Stop referring to her as a traitor! She is my wife! Tatsu is going to be held accountable for disobeying my orders to return her safely to me. Take my wife to Baxster and Rockwell and inform them that they are to do everything in their power to insure she does not die. Oh and make sure they know that if she does die they will suffer. As for the child she doesn't concern you. " I replied. "Now leave us!"

"Oh and Fish Face?"

"Yes Master? "

"Close the door behind you and inform the others that we are not to be disturbed. " I replied.

"Yes Master" Fish Face said leading Tatsu out of the room and closing the door behind him.

Rising from my throne I went over to my daughter.

Catherine POV

I shuddered as the Shredder approached me. I had been warned of how dangerous the Shredder was and that he was not to be trusted. "You need not be afraid child. I mean you no harm. Don't you know who I am?"

"I know who and what you are. Master Splinter to me all about your past Oroku Saki. Your a cold blooded killer who cares for no one."

Shredder POV

I growled no one ever called him by my first name. I balled my hands into fists and frowned at her. So my daughter had been associating with my hated enemy. I decided that it was best if I showed her compassion regaining my composure I asked, "Is that what your mother taught you? To disrespect your Father?"

Catherine POV

"Don't you talk about my mother! " I growled,"Your the reason that she's almost dead. You branded her a traitor and allowed that horrible man to punish her and me." I whispered that last part.

"On the contrary my dear, I never authorized him to carry out any form of punishment. I love you and your mother very much and would never want any harm to come to either of you." Shredder replied.

"Right,  and I suppose my mother lied when she said that you almost killed me? That you didn't care if I lived or died! Why the sudden change of heart? If your going to kill me then kill me but don't patronize me!"

"Is that what you believe? No wonder you were afraid to return home. Your mother and that stupid officer have been filling your head with lies. I am your father, Your mother lied to you as did the officer you called father. You and I both know he didn't love you."

"No! That's not true!  Your a liar! Officer Arthur loved me like I was his own daughter."

"Me lie? Never!" The Shredder said with a slight chuckle. The truth is far to much fun." The Shredder replied sitting down on his throne once more. "Tell me child, if he truly loved you like his own daughter then why did he refuse to raise you? If he truly loved you why did he tell his colleges to throw you into an orphanage? If he loved you so very much, why did you run away?"

"Well he...." I replied at a loss for words. The truth be told I wished I knew the answer to that question myself. "I ran away because...." My voice trailed off, I didn't want to admit the truth.

"Believe me, as painful as is I am telling you the truth. He didn't love you and he will pay for breaking your heart." The Shredder replied.

I moaned I could feel my throat staring to tighten again but I refused to cry. Instead I turned her hurt and frustration into anger. "Why should I believe anything that you tell me? I've been warned of the fact that you would do anything to get what you want. Even lie, so why should I trust you?"

"Because, my dear, it is the truth and you know it. You just don't want to admit it."

"Fine! I'll admit it! Officer Arthur didn't love me, is that what you wanted to hear?" I demanded angrily. "So what if he didn't love me, at least he pretended to care! You've done nothing to show me that you love me or my mother! My whole life I've been told that you care for no one. It's obvious to me that what they've said is true. Why else would my mother need medical attention? We mean no more to you then any other member of the foot clan. Admit it, the reason your so mad at my mother is because she defied you. I've been told that you show no mercy to those who have fail you. So why then, is the man who harmed my mother and threatened my life still alive? If you love us and care for us as much as you say you do? Why hasn't he been punished?"

Shredder
I growled, I would make Tatsu, that coward Officer Arthur and his wife suffer for causing my daughter to hate him. "He will be punished my dear, he will suffer for what he's done! First I will deal with him then I will deal with that annoying Officer and when your mother is better I shall confront her for her actions. No one hurts my family! No one! Come my daughter you shall witness first hand what I do to those who betray me! " I growled extending my hand towards my daughter.

Catherine POV

I looked up at the Shredder wide eyed and with a little twinge of fear . The ferocity of his anger was like none I had ever encountered before. His fury outmatched even Raphael's. He hadn't ordered Tatsu to punish or kill my mother. He was furious about how she had been treated, he seemed genuinely concerned about her. He was even going to punish Officer Arthur for the way he had punished her growing up? My head was swimming in confusion.  My world had been turned completely upside down. Everything my mother had told me about the Shredder had been a lie. Was what the Turtles and Master Splinter  told me concerning the Shredder a lie as well? What was she to do now?

I was sure the Turtles we probably searching for her and were planning some sort of rescue mission. Yet, I wasn't sure I wanted to be rescued, I needed to get to know the Shredder better. Yet, how was I going to accomplish that task?

"Come,"!  The Shredder said extending his hand out towards Me snapping me out of my train of thought. "Take your rightful place by my side. We shall deal with this traitor together."

"As you wish Father" I replied.

"So you except that I am your father?" The Shredder replied with amusement in his voice.

I looked up at the Shredder and paused for a moment before responding. "Honestly, I don't know what or who to believe anymore. All my life I've been told that you are evil and not to be trusted. Truth be told, you have to earn my trust. It's not something I will give you blindly. I've been hurt by two many people who claimed to love me and supposedly had my best interests at heart to do that." I replied with a sigh.
