"I hate to break up your little family meeting but I'd like to leave now if it's all the same to you." I said rising from the couch and heading towards the exit.

"Cat wait! Let us explain" Raph called to her and surprisingly I actually paused at the lair's exit.

"What could you possibly tell me that would make me want to stay?"  I growled.

"The truth." Raphael replied.

"I know the truth. You left me to die." I spat back.

"Please, just give us five minutes. Five minutes to tell our side of the story. If you still want to leave then we won't stop you." Raphael replied.

"Fine, but five minutes is all you get." I replied coming back inside the lair and sitting down once more.

"When we first met you, you were surrounded by members of the purple dragons so we rescued you. Splinter stayed behind to learn more about you. You had little memory of your past. The only thing you could remember was that the foot clan were after you.  You knew that you had somehow made the Shredder angry. That he almost killed you when you were little."

"That's a lie!" I replied rising from the couch. I'm not going to sit here while you dishonor my father with your lies! I'm out of here!"

"Nice going Raph" Leo said causing Raph to growl.

"Why I auta."

"Your time is running out." I replied which stopped the two from fighting.

"You said you'd give us five minutes. It hasn't even been one. Are you going to keep your word and allow us to tell our side of the story or not?" Raph replied.

I frowned, "fine!" I growled I'll stay but only because I gave my word that I'd give you five minutes. If it's one thing my father taught me it is to always honor your word."

Raphael knew this could be father from the truth but he didn't want to say anything that I would consider an insult. So he continued. "Anyhow, after telling Master Splinter what you remembered it was decided that we were going to adopt you into our family. You trained with us for a year and one day you went out for pizza." Raphael said.

I looked at my watch "your down to three minutes. I suggest you get to the point."

"When you didn't return from your pizza run we started to get worried. We later found out that Bebop and Rocksteady had kidnapped you and brought you to the foot headquarters. During your brief time there you discovered that the Shredder was your father."

"Yeah so what? Tell me something I don't know. Your down to two minutes." I replied.

"You were torn as to who you should remain loyal too. On one hand the Shredder is your father, on the other hand you had lived and trained with us. We took you into our family. Splinter was more of a father to you then the Shredder had ever been. You didn't want to turn your back on that, on us." Raph replied.

I scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Whatever, you have one minute left."

"Ultimately you decided to stay with us. You weren't sure you could trust the Shredder. You weren't even sure if he was telling you the truth about being your father. All your life people had warned you of how devious the Shredder could be and you knew we'd never lie to you especially Master Splinter. A few weeks ago Donnie's perimeter alarm sounded and we
decided to check it out." Raph replied.

"Nice story, emphasis on story. I'll be leaving now." I replied rising from my seat.

"Cat wait. Let me finish it won't take long I promise." Raph replied blocking her way.

"Get out of my way!" I growled. I kept my word now it's time you kept yours or does honor mean nothing to you?" I replied with a smile.

"Let her pass Raph, we did give our word." Leo replied.

"Look Cat, yes we gave our word to let you leave but you haven't let us finish telling our side." Raph replied.

"I doubt anything you say will change my mind but just show how honorable my father taught me to be I'll let you finish your story." I replied sitting down on the couch once more.

"Thank you. That's a start. Raph replied with a smile. "Now where was I? Ah yes, the day you injured. As I said, Donnie's parameter alarm sounded and we went to check it out. Agents our advice and Master Splinter's you chose to follow us and try to see for yourself what was causing the alarm. Is any of this sounding familiar to you?" Raph asked.

I didn't want to admit it but what Raphael was saying did sound vaguely familiar. "No. It doesn't. I replied trying to sound convincing. Now please continue, I have a family to get back to."

Raphael sighed. "Ok. We couldn't find anything to cause the alarm to have gone off and so we headed back to the lair. On the way back we were attacked by Razhar, Tiger Claw, Fish Face and that new mutant what's his name?"

"Tanuki" Mikey replied.

"Oh right, Tanuki. As well as footbots and Han and his purple dragon gang. We barely escaped in fact, the whole gang chased us. We arrived just in time to see the Shredder and some new mutant place you into the technodrome and disappear. It looked like you were unconscious but we couldn't tell. It also looked like you were hugging the Shredder. We were divided as to how to deal with the situation. You see, we weren't sure if you were going with the Shredder by choice or if you were injured. We had promised to allow you to give you time to decide on wether or not you wanted to continue being a part of our family or return to the Shredder. Ultimately the others decided that you had returned to the foot clan headquarters with the Shredder by choice and that we should respect your choice." Raph replied. Glancing over at Leo with a frown.

"We all decided to respect her choice Raph you just didn't like the decision." Leo replied.

"Whatever!" Raphael replied rolling his eyes.

I smiled I had a feeling that the turtles were telling the truth however, it didn't matter. Shredder was my father and even if I wanted too I couldn't leave the foot clan. I knew all too well what happened when you betray the Shredder.

"Let's say for a moment that I do believe you, let's be realistic for a moment. The Shredder is not one to be trifled with. You've seen what he does to those who betray him. I can't stay here even if I wanted too. It's too risky not just for myself but for all of you. I'm sorry guys as much as I hate to do this we must part as enemy's. I must leave now, do not follow me and do not attempt to see me again."
