~Chapter One: The Audition Video~

"Hi! I am Lindsey Roselyn Bellwood and I am 16 years old." I waved at the camera but Chelsea stood silently next to me. "I am doing audition for the role of Alenia." I coughed and started my dialogue with Chelsea, who helped me with this very important video. I was quite nervous but once I started acting, everything was natural.

"B-Beorn, I know you don't talk to me anymore, but you need to know this: you're in grave danger! -" "Shut up with your stupid excuses!" Chelsea said emotionless. "But.." "No, I don't want to hear it! You kissed that strange boy, Stefan, so we're done! You can do whatever you want, but you should have told me, we're best friends Alenia!"  "But Stefan and I didn't kiss, he is just my nephew."  "So!?" "So, there was nothing between us, we were family even though I never liked him as a person. He was mean and had a great ego."

"Wait you say there was..."  I nodded slowly and the muscles in my neck tensed, and I felt my gaze get colder. "He died two days ago, that's why you are in danger!!" I yelled and I saw Chelsea was really surprised by my outburst. "But why has Kate told me you two had kissed?" "Because she is jealous." I snapped, and Chelsea stepped back a litte. "Why is she jealous?"  "Because she..." I hesitated and bowed my head slightly. "She... sees I love you..."

I acted a blush but yet looked sad. "I... I love you too..." Chelsea said and she began to laugh very hard, but I went on acting. Chelsea held her hand in front of the camera and said with a jolly laugh: "Beorn and Alenia are kissing, wait a moment..." I pushed her, still in my role, and she took her hand away from the camera and I did my look: I stared at Chelsea and what was behind her: the ghost of Stefan. I opened my mouth a bit in 'surprise' and my eyes became very big. A lock of hair made my face a bit darker and made my eyes even glitter more full of fear, sadness and surprise.

"He is here." I whispered and I stepped forward so I was the only one you could see on the screen. I then looked at the camera and smiled.  "That was it, I hope you choose me!!" I stopped the camera and I took a deep breath. "Done." Chelsea began to cheer and shout: "They will choose you, you are sooooo good!!"  "Thanks Chels" I said and I blushed a bit.

I also had to sing, because I was making an audition video for a musical. I was singing a few different songs and Chelsea filmed it. When we were finished we send the video. 'Yay, we're done!!!' Chelsea said, and we decided to get a milkshake to celibrate it. We first called all our friends and we rode to our favorite cafe in town: The Prancing Pony.

I love it because it had the same name as the pub from Lord of the Rings, Chelsea likes the milkshakes, Emily loves the 'Pony' part and Adrian(Yes, a boy!!) loves the meat most of all, the beef, the burgers, the mixed grills etc. Dan and Stan, a twin, are just hanging around, and they are aways flirting with the waitresses.

Chelsea and I stepped in and headed for our table: it was in the back of the cafe and next to the small stage. On the table stood a card which said: 'private table' and the backside of the card said: 'Clased' Our strange groupname..... Chelsea-Lindsey-Adrian-Stan-Emily-Dan

I looked at the U-formed couch and I saw Adrian  and I immediatley began to blush, but I acted like I didn't. "Hey Lindsey! And Chelsea! Sit down, make your seats comfortable et cetera!" I smiled and took place beside him and Chelsea sat on the other side of me. We orded a milkshake for everyone, and waited for the others, but they came within minutes.

Adrian wore his black leather jacket again, the one that made me swoon every time he wore it, but instead of staring at him, I took out my phone and stared at my chats with nothing new. "No new messages, waiting for some?" Adrian asked and I noticed he was looking over my shoulder, I nodded and turned to him, smiling carelessly "I am totally a loner! I have no friends at all!" Adrian laughed, but Chelsea frowned. "No friends? Then who has been working with you for hours?" "Oh please dramaqueen calm down!" I said with a wink and she flipped her hair into my face when she heard the door opening.

"'So what's the big news?" Dan asked as he jumped onto the couch on his usal place, next to Stan and Emily, who began to blush madly as Dan put his arms around her. "Hey Emily, haven't seen you for a while!" he smirked and she nodded. "Yeah Dan, we're only in the same class for almost every subject!" "Well that's different!"  "Have Lindsey and Adrian finally realized that they are in love?" Stan asked. I began to blush and I felt Adrian getting hotter next to me every second... well, he's hot already...SHUT UP ME!

"Nope" Chelsea said and she whinked to Stan and I saw her forming her lips and she mimed: 'Not yet'

"I have send my audition video..." I said weakly. "Oh really? Do you have the role?" Adrian asked and I saw he was ignoring the looks of Stan, Dan and Chelsea. Emily was too busy with blushing and staring at Dan. Hopeless case... "I don't know yet, but I am going to hear it soon!" "Oh, but you are definitely going to get that role!" "Thanks Adrian!" I smiled and he winked at me.

"Sorry I have to interrupt your cute little moment, but are you going to drink that?" Stan said and he pointed at my milkshake. "No, I am to nervous...' 'OKAY WHAT IS WRONG???!!" Chelsea and Emily yelled at me at the same time. "Nothing, just nervous." I said but they didn't believe me. "You're always hungry, so why not now? There is something wrong, tell us!!" Emily said, while Chelsea gave me the 'oh we knowwww' look.  "It's nothing just like I said!"

"Kay" Stan said and he took my strawberry milkshake and he began to drink it really fast. Dan took a spoon and together they worked it away in matter of seconds. But Chelsea was still looking at me with a dangerous tinkle in her eyes. I flashed a smile at her quickly, and she smiled back weakly. There is nothing wrong with me, I am sure of that.

After an hour I left and Adrian walked with me towards our homes, as usual. We live in the same street, well, his street is behind ours, so we can see each other through our windows. We were walking, talking and laughing for a while. When we reached my street we said goodbye but I added: "I don't know where the others were talking about so er..." "They are just strange" he said and smiled, I smiled back and I looked into his big dark blue eyes. On a beautiful summer day at the beach, his eyes were always the same colour as the dark sea. But in the winter and in evenings his eyes seemed to be as black as the night and they were always full of mystery, not that Adrian was holding back secrets from me, but I just never knew what he really thought at the moment I looked at him. 

"Well, goodbye then!" he said. "See you tomorrow Adrian" I said with a smile and I walked to my house, before I got in I turned around and I saw him still standing a few houses away but he walked around the corner to his street and he was gone. I sighed and stepped into my house and immediatley I heard my father was home and I took a deep breath before I tried to get upstairs as soon as possible.
