Three Cigarettes

If someone wants to know who that is - it's Andy Black, Andy Biersack, member of the Black Veil Brides, whatever. I just know he LOOKS GOOD.

He went forward a little, before realising that she wouldn't want him to kiss her, not even on the cheek, in front of her parents. So he just dropped his hand, dropped his shoulders. "Bye", he waved slightly. "Bye." She smiled and shrugged her shoulders in this very cute way. His heart sank a little further. She turned around and he stood there as if frozen, hands buried deep in the pockets of his pants. It was like this all the time. She'd never stop denying their relationship. Wasn't he enough for her? She'd always tell him to keep things private. She wasn't ready yet. Of course he would never push her to do anything. Do anything that might would make her feel uncomfortable.

He took a cigarette out of the package and lit it. Deep inhale. Exhale. Breathe. They disappeared behind the corner. Behind the hot dog shop. The one they had had so many dates in. "Damnit!", he shouted, crushing the side of his hand against the wall. It hurt. Inhale. Exhale. He lit another cigarette. Inhale.

After finishing the third one, he finally felt a bit more at ease. He was shaking but he felt okay. It would be like this for the rest of their lives. He didn't like her parents, they were ridiculously strict. But they'd been together for months, her parents had seen them many times. Didn't they suspect anything? They must have. But as long as she didn't confirm it?

He sat down on the border of the pavement and rubbed his forehead. Was she worth it all? He knew she wasn't doing him any good. But he could never leave her. Never. Ever. He would protect her. He would make sure she wouldn't feel any pain like he did. Ever.
