I laid in my bed in Diana and I's hotel room, I fell asleep. As I started to dream.

I was running, in a corn field. I was running faster then I have ever could, I smelt corn and dirt. Soon blood. I kept running, soon I saw a person standing there in front of me. I slid to the ground to a stop. I stood up and it was mum.

"Mum?" I question.

"Why you do this to me?" She asks, as I look at her properly. Blood ran down every bit of her body.

"Do what?" I ask curious.

"Kill me! Why did you kill me!?" She screams.

"You begged me! You didn't want to live! You were dying!" I exclaim, as my core shakes.

"Please! You became a monster!" She yells. "I wished I never gave birth too you!" She yells as it feels so real.

"No! You're not real!" I scream as I turn and started running and using every bit of energy.

I soon slid to a stop again and screamed as dad stood there with a knife.

"You killed your mother! You killed my wife!" She yells as I sprint away from him.

"You're not real! Get out of my head!"

Mum told me when I was about three that my roots where deep, whatever that means. But I continue to run and come across a tree. Incurved in it, said. "My roots are deep."
I ran past it, I came across the house. I headed for the back and stood there as I saw the death of my mother that I done to her.

When my claws extended into my mother, I looked down at my hands and saw that my claws. I look back up and see dad yelling for me to go, younger me got up and started running. Younger me stopped in front of me and looked at me in the eyes, then dad yelled again.  Younger me continued to run.

"Braeden wake up! Braeden!" I hear Diana yell. I look around to see her, then I felt myself shaking.

I yelled awake and extended my claws into Diana's chest. She gasped, as I realised what I was doing. I made them go back to normal, then I saw Diana's blood show in her PJs. She fell to the ground as I got to her side, I grabbed her hand to heal her. Black liquid popped through my veins. As Diana gasps.

When she was fully healed I fell backwards, taking in all of the pain.  After a bit I got up and helped Diana up.

"I'm so sorry Diana, I was having a-."

"Nightmare? I know, you had them most of the time when I found you." She tells me.

I smile at her and she brings me into a hug. She rubs my back. "Why do you put up with me?" I ask.

"Because I love you." She says to me.
