My mother looked at me, as dad stood on one side of me a good amount of length away. So did mum on the other side of me.

"It's ok honey." Mum tells me.

"What's happening to me!?" I exclaim, as I look down at my nails. That have formed into claws. My dad puts up a massive mirror, I look at it seeing my reflection.

Instead of brown eyes, I had glowing yellow ones. My teeth was sharpe as a knife, maybe even sharper. My nails were claws. Is this the real me?

"Mum, dad what's wrong with me?" I ask them.

"Nothing honey your you." Dad tells me, then I growl in between my words and scare my dad.

"This is not me!"

"Honey. We should've told you sooner, but when you were born. You were born a Lycan, a human which can shift into a wolf. Well... Werewolf." My mother explains, as I start to panic.

I walk in a circle, as I place my hands on my head.

"Please don't panic." My mum and dad say to me.

"How can I not panic!? This is all new to me!" I growl.

I couldn't take it anymore, I ran outside. I was glad we lived on a farm, so I rushed into the corn fields. All that came into my nose was the smell of sadness from my parents and corn.

I stopped and looked up at the sky as the blue turned pink from the sun. I roared and was amazed of that coming out of her. She stopped and her knees anchored her to the ground.

I wanted to cry, but I didn't. I placed my hands into the soil as I watched my claws form back into nails. I touch my teeth and they are normal, I sigh in relief and anxiety.

I get up and start walking home, as I hear mosquitos coming out. As I look up at the blanket covered sky, where I see fireflies lighting the way home. I smile to my so and walk home.

As I walked through the door, my mum and dad both stood up from the couch.

"Hey baby." My mum says as I hug her, then dad joins the group hug.

"Mum, dad? Why am I like this?" I question.

"It's a one in a million chance for a Lycan to be born." Dad explains.

"Why don't you have a shower?" Mum suggests and I nod as I walk to my room and then bathroom.
