The Connection
Grabbing your hand in a tight grip, Sans guides you from you room and down the slightly creaking steps of your new forever home. If you and Sans were fated to be together then what was the point in leaving? You still had to clear this with your boyfriend mind you but Papyrus' enthusiasm and Sans' love for you told you deep down that you were welcome, like they wanted you to stay and you were more then happy to oblige.
" Wonder what Paps has made for dinner, spaghetti no doubt hehe " Despite his laughter you could sense the skeleton's voice tremble slightly with unnerving and nervousness, a slight cringed look on his bony face. For a second you wondered why Sans was making such an expression, knowing full well that your actions a few moments ago didn't offend him. So then why was he...? You look into the kitchen to see the taller but younger skeleton adding excessive amounts of cheese onto the pasta dish he had made. Don't get it wrong you didn't mind a little cheese every now and then but when it was applied to something dry, such as this pasta to which Papyrus added no sauce , caused even you to grimace slightly at the thought.
Sans turns, seeing your expression and unable to hold back a small chuckle.
" Babe it will be ok. My bro is only trying to help us " You looks lightly to the floor with a heartbroken look on your face, knowing deep down in your soul that you wouldn't be able to eat or even finish the meal that Papyrus took so long to prepare. You are shaken quickly from your thoughts, seeing Sans grasp his shirt where your combined soul now lay within his ribcage. Could he sense the sadness you felt deep down? Is this how monster relationships differed from human ones?
" It is gets too much maybe Paps will let us order out later. I'm sure he will understand " You nod gently, letting Sans continue to guide you to the kitchen as you were still unfamiliar with the home's layout. The short skeleton pulls out a chair for you, letting you sit down without so much as a single sound. You smile, your cheeks as red and rose and Sans' as blue as ice and that shade only deepened after a quick kiss from your beloved. You were use to Sans' public affections but when in front of Papyrus it shook you, not in a bad way though. You were embarrassed at others seeing you like this, especially someone that could become something much more to you if your relationship with Sans was to go well.
Those feelings are forgotten as you watch the two brothers clamour around the finish the last bits of dinner before you all ate. You chuckle slightly, feeling like you belonged here and like you were part of this family. Things had never seemed so good, so perfect that you had smiled like this. Life hadn't always been fair, very few people had that luxury in life, you were ok in your current situation though. Money and fame wasn't always the answer. Sometimes all you needed was good friends and bad laughs and maybe just a little love.
" Wait....that seems..familiar " You ponder over the phrase ' Good friends and bad laughs ' thinking like you had said it before but that was impossible right? You hold your hand over your soul, feeling thr warmness that came from it and watching in astonishment as a faint mixture of blue and (F/C) light shone gently through your skin and clothes. Was that phrase something Sans had said long ago? You didn't care. It was all so wonderful and not even the world's riches could compare. Only you had gotten to experience this and that was the real treasure. Better then gold or diamonds. This was a sincere and genuine love and that was enough for you.
