Plans

The clamoring from inside became louder and louder, almost ringing in your ears and leaving an echo behind. Maybe Sans did live with someone after all. Who was it though? He had never mentioned anyone before. Well, you had never asked and Sans wasn't one for giving up information about himself so easily. Your heart thumped heavily, hearing footsteps approach the door. You didn't feel ready for this, was it too soon to visit the skeleton's home? Should you have waited? Something told you yes but deep down your soul told you to visit, almost like a nagging feeling. You were not sure what exactly the feeling was but you tried to shrug it off, seeing the door open slowly in front of you. You try to look inside through the small crack in the door, seeing that the home was perfectly clean. You wonder to yourself why exactly Sans was being yelled at to pick stuff up. The home was clean! How messy could the short skeleton be? You are shaken from your thoughts, a tall skeleton swinging the door open with a force strong enough the shake the very foundations of the home.

" Hello? " You arch your neck up to meet the black sockets of the monster, the boots the tall skeleton wore making him abnormally tall. You find yourself unable to speak, your very voice getting caught in your chest. You had been caught off guard and it was still causing you to shake. You begin to calm upon seeing Sans poke out from behind his roommate, smiling like always. You loved that smile, it seeming to calm you and settle your jittery nerves. Now that your breath had gotten back into a steady beat you were able to speak one again, finding courage from deep down despite you still being immensely shy.

" Hi Sans " Sans pushes past the taller monster, bringing you into a tight hug. His bony hands laid on your back as you stand there in silence for what seemed like an eternity, his and your soft breaths being all that you could hear. You finally let go of each other, staring into each others eyes, or sockets,  deeply. You are both shaken from your actions, hearing the monster behind you speak loudly, like he was almost shouting.

" Brother, who is this human? " Brother? So Sans lived with his brother? Something inside you sank, wanting to maybe move in with Sans one day. You knew it was too early to think about these things but you wanted to believe that it had a chance of happening, now you weren't too sure. Sans turns to his brother, not seeing you look to the floor sadly.

" Papyrus, this is (Y/N). We are gonna go on a date " You look up from the floor, hearing Papyrus' exclamations of excitement. He seemed happy about his brother going on a date, the fact you were a human didn't bother him at all. You smile, feeling accepted by the taller monster and your heart finally fully returning to normal with not even an out of place flutter. You watch as Sans reaches out from your hand, holding it tight like it was the most precious thing in the world. You feel your face heat up as the skeleton guides you in the house. You see the light blue blush on the skeleton's face, feeling relieved that he felt the same way as you did, curving your embarrassment somewhat. The home of the two skeletons seemed nice enough, very clean and tidy aside one sock that lay in the middle of the floor that was followed by a string of sticky notes. Perhaps this was what Papyrus was telling his brother to move. You smile gently at the thought of a brother loosing his temper over such a trivial thing.

" Here we are babe, the living room. Welp, Papyrus and I will just leave " Sans lets go of your hand, slowly exiting the room. Papryus just watched as his brother did this, not even following with what he said. Sans returns, chuckling like a madman and sitting back beside you. It took a while but you eventually got the joke.

" We had better plan this date and leave soon. Papyrus is making spaghetti and I don't have the stomach for it " Another pun, another classic pun. You still loved them all the same.
