Distractions
You look behind you, seeing Sans' confused facial features. He had no idea what was going on but you were sure that he would love it none the less. You stop suddenly, turning to face the skeleton. You say nothing but smile, reaching out for both of Sans' hands and holding them tightly and carefully, like you would handle a china cup. He didn't seem to notice were you had taken him, trying to slyly cock your head to one side as some sort of signal. If you knew Sans well, and you did, then this was the place he wanted to be, your heart told you so. It felt like an unbreakable pull, something you couldn't quite explain. It made your heart skip a beat, pounding against your chest with anticipation with every second that passed. Sans finally looks up, his sockets slightly widening in surprise. He had somehow missed the bright neon sign as you approached. Maybe his sockets had poor sight? Regardless, you loved the look in his eyes. Happiness and longing. It was a wondrous sight to behold, a happy skeleman.
" Babe, why did ya....?" You smile softly, your grip tightening but only slightly as to avoid braking the fragile bone. You thought that Sans knew better, that you would do anything to sooth the savage beast that lay asleep in his deep blue soul. It would seem that he still needed to be reminded of how far you would go for him. You place your hand onto his skull, running it along the shape of his jawline before pulling him in for a soft and silent kiss. You wanted to show him why you acted this way, words could not describe. He was your reason for carrying on, pulling you out of the blackest shadows and into the light. You felt his soul pulse, the kiss strengthening your connection to one another the longer it lasted. You both finally part, a soft blush on Sans' cheeks and yours. You reach for the handle, opening the door slowly and peering into the dim, candle lit room. It was just as you remembered it, not having changed. How could it in a day? Soft thumps resonate as you enter slowly, finding a secluded place and deciding it better to sit away from judging eyes, if any. You sigh, feeling slightly uncomfortable. This didn't stop you seeing someone familiar from the corner of your eye though. A flash of red. Who could it be?
